Poor Quality Product, Worse Customer Service

I recommend steering clear of these (and other Jabra products). If you buy these, you’re buying what is, essentially, a disposable set of headphones. You can expect 8-10 weeks of use before they’re non-functioning; Jabra will not replace them, despite their warranty. Out of the box, these were comfortable and had solid sound for the price (I chose these in part for the positive NYT review). Having worked as a sound engineer, they struck me as both balanced and flattering for the price point—not fantastic, but a decent casual listening headphone. Within, maybe, two months of regular wear, they began coming apart, and were quickly unusable. I reached out to Jabra and was treated with derision and cynicism, and they explained that, technically, the damage was “cosmetic” (it was not), and told me to buy replacement parts which would not have worked, as the structural materials had become unglued and distended. The ear cups had separated, such that no amount of adhesive or fastening could possibly fix them, and the drivers were non-functioning. Even Best Buy’s own customer service told me it was unreasonable, but that, because I didn’t get their additional warranty, there was nothing they could do (which struck me as reasonable, if unfortunate). I’m frustrated to have purchased a product that created so much waste so quickly, even for headphones (which are not the heartiest or most sustainable product, as a category). Go with something well-made and a bit more expensive (Sony, Sennheiser) or genuinely “budget” (Anker, Skullcandy) if necessary. The ostensible middle-ground these occupy is a worst of both worlds kind of territory. I’ve used and researched dozens of headphones over the last couple of decades, and even the cheapest and most disappointing outlasted these by a wide margin.

Absolute garbage. Purchased this in February and three months later the right ear piece completely stopped functioning. Have tried contacting Jabra support via phone and via Facebook. No response on Facebook and the phone support appears to often be closed even during their 'open' hours.  The worst part is, while they were working they were excellent. So good that I bought a second pair for my wife. Now I am just waiting for hers to fail... Do not buy this product if you want something that will last.

    Great while they lasted

Worked great for a little over a month, then the left speaker began to cut out constantly like it has a short or something. At this price point, I definitely expected the product to last for a while. The headphones are super comfortable, and I have no issues connecting to devices. The speaker constantly cutting out makes them pretty much worthless to me though.

Too bad this did not last even 3 months. Loved it at first but then it sounded like static, and now I can't even listen to anything on this anymore. Extremely disappointed.
