Watch the 3D version.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a fan of 3D movies and love a fun, campy, "horror" movie then this is the blu-ray to buy! The 3D movie is an extra on the disc - which seems strange as its only marketed on the back of the cover as an extra and the quality of the 2D movie is not very good. The main 2D feature quality is extremely grainy. The real 3D is a treat to behold! It's real 3D and not blue and red lenses in cardboard. The main titles alone appeared to stretch across my living room and several scenes have gags that appear to come so far out of the TV that it almost makes you cross-eyed , The move is not as good as the original or 2nd one. It is campy and fun though to watch.

A Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now that title may be a little misleading. Of course, the 3-D experience from newer movies like 'Avatar' is more than likely better, but this is something I've waited to see in 3-D for more than 30 years (the vast majority of my lifetime up to now). I remember seeing the trailers for both this and 'Friday the 13th 3-D' back in 1983 and wanting desperately to see them both in the theaters. I saw neither unfortunately and only got to watch them in 2-D. Eventually, I did see F13 part 3 in 3-D, but it was the red/blue glasses 3-D. I totally expected that if I ever saw Jaws 3 in 3-D it'd likely be the same red/blue glasses. Nope!

A cheesy shark movie in 3-D!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can remember wasting an entire summer watching this movie every day with a friend. Jaws 3 holds special memories for me. The story is laughable and just an excuse for over the top 3-D effects, but it's a good kind of cheese. Louis Gossett Jr. and Dennis Quaid turn in pretty good performances, despite the story. The Blu-Ray has a bonus feature of the movie in 3-D!! Worth it!

Fair Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will say this film doesn't even come close to the first two films! This movie had a great plot, but the horrible acting and very fake special effects didn't help make the film as great as it should have been. I will say the positive aspect of this movie is it still is very entertaining, and I would watch it again. It is just a shame they didn't put more effort into this film that had such a promising plot, but it had such bad aspects that didn't help it. If you are a fan of the original two films, see it, but don't expect anything nearly as great!

3D hurts the movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the cast in this one, but it was originally shown in 3D and sometimes looks cheesy in standard def. A special feature says that you can watch the movie in 3D, but I don't have a 3D TV, 3D Blu Ray player and 3D glasses.

glad this finally came out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ok 3d...but needed to add it to my collection...you can really tell the age of the film after seeing it for the first time in many many years. Still needed to add it to the 3D library...now waiting for a true 3d Blu Ray release of Friday the 13th 3 in 3-D!!!

A great price for a bluray movie.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jaws 3 is good, but jaws 1 and Jaws 2 are the ones we like the best. We are movie buffs and collectors. We always complete a series of movies. I must say though 9.99 for a bluray movie is always worth it.

Added Jaws 3 to My Collection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having Jaws 3 in the collection and also having it rendered and it's original format, is outstanding. I used to have this on VHS and now I have it on DVD. It is a simple and straightforward survival thriller. A must watch is Jaws 3. if you're into this type of movie. Go out and get it.

subpar movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie was a lot better when I was a kid. 3D graphics are a joke and are just thrown in the movie for the sake of saying its a 3D movie. Nice that they actually made it for 3D TV's and not having to wear those ridiculous red and blue paper glasses. Looks good and sounds good on blu ray.

No 3D version for this bluray movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie was originally shot in 3D for use with the blue/red glasses of yesteryear, it would have been nice if they digitally made this into a bluray 3D flick. Otherwise, your standard horror flick with a shark on the loose and taking unsuspecting victims at will.

JAWS 3 finally in 3D!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can finally watch this movie the way it was presented in the theaters back in 1983...in 3-D!!! The 3D alone makes this almost unwatchable movie in 2D more enjoyable. I wish they still made 3D movies like this....the pop out effects are so much fun. Plus, since I live right next to Sea World Orlando its fun to watch this movie and see how much the park has chaged over the years

Entertaining and a young Dennis Quaid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's start by saying it's nowhere near as good as original or the sequel but it will entertain you for an hour and a half. The best part of the movie besides the shark itself is watching a young Dennis Quaid in one of his first roles.

Fun Jaws movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as sequels this is a fun one, 3D is good and the fact that it is set in Sea World makes it even better. Louis Gossett Jr is good as well.

I was happy to see the 3D version on this disk!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An average movie but I was so excited that the 3D version was in the special features. Some of these old 3-D effects still pop quite a bit.
