Good quality but..

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good quality audio, it’s nice that’s water proof so you can use outdoors but… no jack in aux.. this speaker it’s strictly Bluetooth only, only the more expensive and bigger versions are coming with aux in jack port.

This is actually the second flip 5 I've purchased. After my first speaker was stolen, I tried "upgrading" to rhe JBL Extreme 2. I liked the bass it produced, but it seemed muddled and completely tanked when it came to kids and highs. The Flip 5 definitely out performs its larger, more expensive cousin when it comes to overall clear quality and impressive bass for such a small package. Cons: no built in mic for ios/ android assistant or speaker phone. No USB port to plug your phone into, and no aux in. Not backwards compatible with previous versions of JBL Party Play tech.

Great small & light size, so portable. Charged through usb c, so future ready. BAD : Can’t rewind or choose previous track from device though, only forward and doesn’t have voice control or voice control through phone. No aux.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One or the things I like most about this bluetooth speaker, is that JBL got rid of the flap covering on the charging port. You just plug in the USB-C charger directly in to the unit itself without playing with that flap for minutes on end, but wait there's more JBL got rid of the aux input eliminating excessive ports on the device itself. One final note it sounds awesome and is quite handy for any mobile speaker needs!
