These speakers sound amazing on my factory head unit! tons more bass and cleaner highs I put 4 in my Ram 1500. Backs fit with no issues. Front 6x9 speakers if you use the spacer that they come with and install it on back side they fit doors without hitting window tracks door panels go on as normal.

The 4 speakers sound fantastic when connected to an amplifier. The sound is clear and not distorted when the amplifier and stereo are properly tuned. At volume level 30 on a Pioneer AVH 3500 NEX connected to an amplifier, the bass is clear and not distorted. With the convertible top down, we do not have any issues hearing our music in city traffic or on the freeway. Prior to the amp being installed, the speakers sounded good, but afterwards, we could really hear the difference. Talk with the installers at Best Buy about the best speakers and amplifier for your vehicle. They can give you many options to meet your needs.

These speakers have great mids with an added thump in the bass I was not expecting. I upgraded my 2010 Toyota Camry to these doing a self install. I recommend buying the mount and wiring harness for front panel. My rear deck was a pain to get to and the rear speaker wiring harness is not the one Bestbuy sells so I just cut the old one off from the old speaker and soldered them together. Also, make sure you do your homework before doing a self install. I recommend searching YouTube and going to Crutchfield to buy a $10 install guide specific to your vehicle. The whole process is fun, but if you don't have the knowledge base you can damage your panels and wiring. I definitely would go the self install route just do your research first.

Overall great sound added a little more bass to my 2011 ram not as easy of an install as reviews and videos made it out to be had to buy correct spacers to clear the windows tracks but thin enough spacers so the door panels weren’t sitting on the speaker. I’m happy with my purchase. But if you think your just going to throw them in and be done it’s not that easy.

I replaced all my 2012 Ram 1500 door speakers with these and it's a huge upgrade from the factory ones. JBL did a good job!!!!

I was upgrading factory Rockford fosgate speakers but the factory were way louder. These play very soft on my factory amp so I couldn’t hear either the base mids or highs. I ordered an open box to save some money but one was damaged so I’m returning them and I’m gonna spend a little more hopefully I actually upgrade this time. What a waste of time.

These are great speakers designed to sound great just running off of the receiver in the dash with no external amplifier. I have an aftermarket pioneer head which has a little extra punch than a factory head but i imagine these would still be the best upgrade option if you still had the factory head. If you turn them up all the way will they distort? Yes. But, the good news is they sound plenty good and plenty loud before they start distorting. Its best to tweak the receiver settings to tune the system so they sound optimal. In my opinion if you wanted them to get any louder it would just become kind of obnoxious. I had them turned up to the sweet spot and i had to yell at my friend in the passenger seat. Bass is excellent with enough bass to rattle the car without the speakers distorting. Treble is crisp. These mix well with front speakers that have a little more mid-range to round out the sound. So if you are looking for competition bass that you can turn up all the way without distorting, keep looking. But if you are looking for good all-around speakers that sound really great off the head in the dash plus get plenty loud, then these are the ticket.

I have the alpine 9 speaker system in my jeep cherokee. I replaced all the (5) 3.5 speakers with the JBL GX328'S and it sounded great. Way better than stock. I decided to match the rear 6x9's with the same series. Theses things on the factory Alpine amp are extremely loud. Ear piercing if you have it set too high but no distortion. None of the factory speakers had tweaters on them so its a night and day difference with these JBL's. These do have good clean bass. They dont hit hard but you get a nice low tone that will rattle your doors and they compliment everything else very nice. The front doors have 6x9's with a low pass and there is an 8 in sub the rear so im very happy with the sound quality all together.

Absolutely the very best set of speakers I’ve ever purchased… crisp clear vocals and the bass is absolutely amazing!! The price is worth every penny.. The best part is that they are extremely inexpensive..

Bought these speakers to upgrade blown stock speakers on my 04 Honda Accord. Speakers were plug and play, easy installation. Sound is crisp and loud, providing more bass then I expected. 10/10 would recommend.

JBL is one of the top brands on the market today for the price. I bought these for my 2005 Dodge Magnum. 2 up front, 2 in the rear and a set of JL Audio 10" Subs. I've got a Kicker 1000.1 five channel amp with a Kenwood Double DIN NAV head unit. The combo couldn't be better if I'd planned it. Actually, these were some things I had from a few of my other cars. The JBL's are nothing short of AWESOME! The High's are as crisp as what you might find in a set of component speakers. The lows lend themselves to the subs and the mids bring the whole thing together. For the price, you simply cannot go wrong. Frankly, I have another set ready to purchase for my Corvette.

Haven't used them too long just yet but these are fantastic. Used them to replace the factory JBL speakers in my 2007 Limited 4Runner. Not a huge difference as the Limted has the upgraded JBL system but these were a great refresh after 14 years of use. Everything is far more clear and the bass is much more present. Easy to install yourself with the proper wiring harnesses and mounting brackets. Can't recommend these enough!

The 6x9 JBL speakers replaced the sad stock Lexus front door 6.5 speakers with an adapter kit. This really was an incredible difference in sound quality using the stock Lexus head unit. Real bass and the clarity of the tweeter instead of the cheap stock speakers. I went from a No Way Lexus 6.5 to a 3 way JBL . I didn't have to replace the front dash speakers as they now do their job better . This was not expensive and everything inside the car from HD radio to CD to Sat radio to podcasts to Apple music via lightening to head unit is fantastic.

After 2 months of owning and daily using these speakers, they’ve proven to be really amazing! These are well rounded speakers with sharp bass, paired up with a stock 2015 Xterra stereo so maybe even better with an actual amp or aftermarket stereo. I thought I blew them a month in, but it turned out to just be some coins that somehow ended up in the panel?
