This is better than all of the small subs that I’ve owned. Especially when paired with the LS50 meta. Of course you can get a much bigger sub with more base. But the kc62 can already fill our living room. More will just hurt our ear. The base is deep, and accurate. Best purchase!

Very clean, musical, and accurate sounding sub. Bass is very controlled and articulated, something that many larger subs struggle with. It does an excellent job at disappearing from the room, and never sounds pushed. If you have a small to medium room you won't regret this little beast

I'm using this sub paired with my Kef LSX-II speakers with my gaming setup. Absolute overkill, but I love it. The best thing I can say about the KC62 in this context is it gets out of the way. The system now has tight, ever-present bass, without a sub screaming "YOU BOUGHT A SUBWOOFER HERE IS SOME THUMP" all the time. The most impressive part for me is how integrated the frequencies are with the other speakers. The bass feels like it's coming at me from the monitor rather than just rattling my feet. Very, very impressed. One nitpick: at this price it's lame that there isn't a simple RCA plug included to connect to your system. Otherwise this thing is amazing.

Small but mighty, don’t underestimate the size of this subwoofer,it can compete with any other subwoofer on the market nowadays,it’s versatile enough for audiophiles/movie theater/sports events… it’s small enough to place anywhere in the room with optional wireless kit.

Pairs nicely with Kef ls50 wireless II. Bass is nuanced and blends well. It’s not going to rattle your windows but it adds so much depth to the music. It’s great for music but not so much for movies. Perfect for a 2 channel music set up.

KC62 sounds great , looks great. It's a perfect match for KEF's LSX, LS50W etc series of speakers and others too. Fast, deep and puchy bass. Neat, modern design. Lots of flexibility in tuning the subwoofer's EQ. If price is not an issue, KC62 is definitely the subwoofer to get for most hifi owners. Build KC62 is solidly built. The metal exterior is solid and the thing is heavy. You really get what you pay for. Aesthetics: The white color is sharp. It simply looks great. It has a modern and elegant look. It is also very small, so you place it right at the center of your HIFI setup if you want. Sound: The base is deep, clean and has very fast response. I pair it with LS50W. It adds so much depth to everything I listen to. The tricky part is to find the right crossover frequency. The beauty with paring with LS50W, LSX or any KEF active series is that the KEF app allows users to adjust both high pass and low pass filter on the fly making it much more convenient to tune the crossover point. It's still a time consuming process, but that's also part of the fun. Power: You can't beat physics, even with two woofers, they are only 6 inch and you can reach deep bass but not at high volume. Or if you want high volume, it cannot reach as low. But I feel the the power (pressure) is way more than sufficient for me. Unelss you use it in a huge home theater room, i feel that this is way more than enough. Personally, I dont listen at very high volume, but even that, when watch movies or shows, the subwoofer is already more than powerful for what I need. Setup: With the app, setting much is much easier, But within the app, (for non-KEF active speakers owners), there are still manual knobs at the back of the KC62 to adjust the cross over. There are also a built-in EQ switches on the back of KC62 to adjust if you are positioning the subwooder at a corner, near a wall or in an apartment. So , the setup process and the amount of freedom in adjustment is above average compared to other subwoofers. The front LED indicator is not bright enough and can only be seen at the right angle. Also, this circular LED is often mistaken as the power button. Turns out the actually power switch is at the back. You rarely need to turn it on or off because it auto turns on when there is audio signal. Value: At this list price, this is this very expensive. You can get a larger size SVS subwoofer at almost half the price. If you are looking for value, you won't find it here. That's why i am only giving it 4 stars. If you already own LS50w LS50WII, LSX , LSXII or LS60W, KC62 would match very nicely.

A truly transformative addition to my system

I’ve had a set of KEF LS50 speakers for several years and have loved their sound. The only thing lacking was truly low end oomph but the rest of their tone and power was so good, I didn’t mind. I finally decided to add the subwoofer and the KC-62 seemed a natural fit for my power requirements and for the fact that it would seem to be engineered to mate well with the LS50s. Such an amazing transformation! Getting great low frequency sound isn’t that difficult to achieve but what I didn’t expect was how much better the LS50s sound now that they aren’t burdened with trying to produce the low end. The group makes a terrific system. As for the KC-62 itself, setup was quick and painless (KEF has sorted out the sometimes fussy mykef app). The Bluetooth connector that was included for free worked instantly and flawlessly. Both the volume control and frequency crossover controls offer smooth response and easy access to the volume control on the back allows for quick changes if you’re shifting between styles of music or input sources. The fit and finish are impeccable and the sub looks more like a bit of furniture/sculpture than a massive bit of kit. The sound quality is clean and tight and easily tailored to your sonic preference for presence. Exceeded all my expectations!

This thing puts out so much bass, its crazy. Its tiny, powerful, intergrades with KEF speakers nicely. You will be amazed once you see the size of it. I don't know about hitting 11hz, but it does get really low. The best thing is the dynamics of this sub. Really sounds great, especially at lower volumes.

I purchased a pair of these compact K 62 subs & they are phenomenal. It's a sub that will deliver sub bass (down to 11HZ ~ I challenge you to find that number elsewhere.) you will notice immediately when watching Netflix series with extended bass. That said, it's not overpowering nor meant to be so unless you dial it up that way on the settings. It should also be noted that almost any music will have a substantial presence at the bottom end without feeling overwhelming. I'm talking about a super tight clean natural bass. I have them mated up with a pair of LS 50 Wireless 2's and the difference is night and day with the addition of the subs. Well worth the cost of admission. Highly recommended. I also recommend IsoAcoutics stands for the LS 50 W2's. This really details the soundstage to whole new levels. Another addition I made is the Furman Elite 20 PFI power conditioner. This unit made a huge difference in detailing the soundstage, clarity, warmth, and dynamics. Back to the K 62s, I suspect that they'll put a wide smile on your face.

I'm extremely impressed by this sub. I was tempted to get the larger, more expensive kf92 but my room were I'm using the sub is only 10'×12'. Im glad that i didn't go for it because my god this little box sounds like a GOOD 12"sub. More than enough bass for the average user. I'd recommend this thing for anyone looking for more bass in a small package.

WOW! I've been reading reviews on every sub out there. I've been watching reviews on every sub out there. I've had my eye on the KC62 for a long time. I seemed to be looking for a reason not to buy it more than a reason to buy it. The reasons...Size and cost. What a complete waste of time. This little guy weighs a ton and is awesome. It is very well made and matches up perfectly with my LS50s...Not wireless. As soon as I hooked it up it completely changed my listening soundscape. I have it set up near field for a home office. The LS50s are ear level and the sub is just off to the left and it melds perfectly. The sub made the LS50s much more detailed. I am curious if it would do the same with other speakers. It's pricey, but well worth it! Very happy with purchase.

If you are tight on space, this is a very decent small sub. I liked it overall but I was not blow away by it. For me, it was not great in a larger room (20x20x8) or as a primary home theatre sub. In a smaller room it will hold it's own very well. I ended up returning it and bought a very nice REL HT/1205. It cost about a third the price of the KEF and I personally like it more. Again, in fairness, in a very small room e.g., 12x12, or if you don't want to look at a bigger sub box and money is not a concern, the KEF offers some unique value. Sonically, it did hit the lows but just not with a lot of authority. There is only so much 2- 6.5" drivers can do. Amazing for the size but not so amazing against a well powered, great quality 12" sub like the REL.

Wow - this sub woofer far exceeded my expectations! It is powerful and yet subtle enough for a smallish room (21x13). The flexibility for sound was awesome. I paired it with KEF T301 wall speakers and powered it with a ARCAM AVR5. Expensive but well worth the money!
