I purchased this Kenwood media receiver initially because I wanted something that was in stock and not very expensive. Initially I did not like the look of this receiver after opening the box. The only reason is because of the 2 chrome strips on it which I think make it look cheap, but that’s just my opinion. After having it for a few months now, I can say I would buy this model again and that is after I just bought a Sony receiver for another car a few weeks ago. The only reason I didn’t go with this receiver for the other car is because the Sony came with a remote which I needed due to the location of it. This one does not come with a remote and I wish it did because though I paid more for the other receiver I really like the ease of use I get with the Kenwood. The color select feature is nice, the Bluetooth always connects with ease and the supplied mic works well. I have not had any issues with people not being able to hear me during a phone call. Two things to note are the absence of a remote and no CD player which most people can go without. They do sell this same unit with a CD player for a bit more if you absolutely need one.

I bought it with the intentions of playing My CD's. It was $10.00 cheaper than the other stereo model.. so I said must not be a big difference. When I opened the box I noticed it was half the size of a regular standard stereo system. I didn't read the box, I was only looking at the USB, which my old stereo did not have, or aux. Long story short. I ended up ripping my CD's into my lap top, Boy I'll tell you. The best thing I have ever done to my music. I have 3 flash drives that literally as small as pocket change with over 100 songs. I love this stereo and it has wire less connectivity, hands free with mic. It boosts up my JBL's 6X9's, I also picked up for $100.00 it sounds amazing and with no amplifier. I'm totally bumping loud and fresh for this summer in my 1963 Dodge Dart 270. Enjoy it.

The radio is loud and clear, easy to install, I put this in a 1966 Chevy C10, changes colors, perfect purchase, well satisfied !!!

I drive 18 wheeler so music is important to me well my radio I had in the rig kept overheating so I went into bestbuy and the man in the dept has the same radio I have in the rig now in his car, I wasn’t set on it till he came up and pulled out the faceplate so no one would steal it I bought it right then and there, I asked the technicians if they could pull the old radio out and they helped me out I wired it in the rig in 20 min and have loved it since! My boss was using my rig one day and asked if I love the new radio cause he never saw it while I have the faceplate in the rig so I showed him, I think after all this blows over he might be getting one for his car!

Purchased for a home stereo project and could not be anymore satisfied. This unit is packed with features for the price. Still working on connecting the Kenwood app, but on-unit menu makes it easy to adjust all settings. Even though no remote is included, can be easily found elsewhere. Difficult to find units with 3 pre outs at this price point. 2.5v pre-outs are plenty. Also surprised with the memory retention when disconnected from power. Would definitely recommend.

This not my 1st in this series. I use these in hot rods with limited space. Most of my music is on a flash drive. On the occasion that someone else is with me and wants to use their phone, the bluetooth works well. It has good sound quality and plenty of functions. I haven't played a cd in the car for sometime so I'm not missing that feature. I have stayed with Kenwood because I'm old and don't want to learn new software all the time. :)

Fantastic radio, still works just as well as it did 2 years ago, geek squad even took out my old radio and installed it.

A clean and simple media player that is half the size and weight of one with a CD player. Connects quickly to Bluetooth. The sound settings are a bit overwhelming but if you read and just take some time to adjust then you’ll fall in love with it.

This Kenwood replaced the 20 year old OEM stereo in my car. It's really nice to have blue tooth, Pandora, and SiriusXM. It was really easy to install myself.

Super easy to install I like the features that it has you can change the color on the display. You can download the app and it’s a little easy to navigate the controls change colors and the sound it’s good

Purchased primarily for noticeable phone answer button. Lots of good featires and sound is good. Fit the interior of my classic car and was able to have screen color match other interior lighting.

I love this receiver. Great reception and easy to install! I bought this for my 4Runner so I could get SiriusXM out in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of power and great sound.
