Overall satisfied, would recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the compact size & maximum tank capacity. It runs quietly, but when you put in a new pod, it makes a really loud popping noise & you have to put a little muscle into it. Nothing like my old classic keurig was in that respect. Overall satisfied.

Great single cup Keurig
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a simple to use with great options Keurig. Assemble, add water, flip open, add pod, pick highlighted options like strong/over ice, water amount (6,8,10,12oz) hit the big K to start. Heats quickly to pour your coffee. This has the 5 point water intake into pod giving a better distribution of hot water into pod.

Slim Footprint – Makes Great Coffee!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Keurig K-Supreme Coffee Maker is a very nice evolution of the traditional Keurig single cup pod brewer. It is a very attractive unit, slim and elegantly styled in silver and matte black. It introduces several great new features and utilizes an innovative brewing system to extract maximum flavor from K-cups. Keurig was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1992. “Keurig” is Dutch for “elegant and neat” and chosen to describe their new single cup coffee-making process. The founders of the company invented the K-Cup and designed coffee makers which utilized the K-Cup to brew excellent coffee, one cup at a time, first in offices, then expanded to the home market. The secret of the K-Cup’s flavor is specially ground coffee held in a filter within the plastic K-Cup, which is pumped full of nitrogen and sealed with a foil cover to preserve freshness until use. Keurig has sold nearly 100 million K-Cup coffee makers during its existence. Today Keurig is part of a $13 billion public company which also owns Green Mountain Coffee, Dr. Pepper and Snapple. Here is a summary of the key features: • Model: Keurig K-Supreme Brewer (# K910) • Multi-Stream technology to extract more flavor/aroma • Brew sizes: 6, 8, 10 or 12 ounces • Compatible with all single serve K-Cup pods • Removable 66 ounce water reservoir • Water filtration filter and bracket (removable) • Smart Start: Auto power-on when K-Cup is inserted • Auto power-off 5 minutes after brewing • Controls: Power, Brew Strength, Iced Coffee, Cup size (6, 8, 10, 12 ounces), Brew Start • Two brew strengths: Classic and Strong • Iced coffee mode – Brews 6 ounces at lower temperature optimized for iced coffee • Descaling notice (light) every 250 brews • Low water level warning light • Cup tray removable to accommodate travel mugs • Compatible with My K-Cup reusable coffee filter (not included) • Removable parts are hand-wash only (not dishwasher-safe) • Color: Black and silver • Includes quick start guide. Full owner’s manual available at Keurig.com • Cord length: 30 inches • 1520 watt heating unit • Dimensions with side water reservoir: 12.2 inch height, 11.4 inch depth, 7.9 inch width Dimensions with rear water reservoir: 12.2 inch height, 14.6 inch depth, 4.8 inch width • Weight: 5.9 pounds • One year warranty on parts and labor I have used the classic Keurig B70 Platinum as my primary coffee maker for the past twelve years and it has produced over 8,000 cups of great coffee for me during that time. The new K-Supreme has some really big shoes to fill in replacing that reliable workhorse. When you unbox the Keurig K-Supreme you should be very impressed by the elegant design and the quality of construction. It is a beautiful combination of matte black and silver surfaces, accented by a crystal clear water reservoir. All controls are on the top, above the K-Cup basket. The cup holder/drip tray slides out to allow you to fill tall travel cups. One dominant impression is how slim this new brewer is, barely wider than a coffee cup. The water reservoir is located on the left side normally, but by just releasing a locking tab the water reservoir can be easily relocated to the rear of the unit. This makes the already slim coffee maker even more svelte – just 4.8 inches wide! And it is really not much deeper, just 14.6 inches compared to 11.4 inches deep with the reservoir on the side. If you have limited counter space this is a wonderful feature and only this Keurig model has it. If you have an older Keurig you are used to bringing water to the coffee brewer for refilling because lifting off and replacing the old style water reservoir is a bit awkward. The new K-Supreme has ended that problem – the 66-ounce water reservoir has a nice handle and is well-balanced which facilitates easy removal and refilling. This also encourages more frequent cleaning of the water reservoir. One nice improvement on the K-Supreme compared to my older Keurig is that you no longer have to reach behind the machine to turn it on. Power is activated when you swing up the top to insert the K-Cup. Also, you do not have to wait while the brewer heats the water (which the older machines require.) Just insert the K-Cup, lower the top, select the cup size, press the “K” brew start button and the brewing process starts. I measured the brewing time for a 12 ounce cup from my old and new Keurigs. Starting from cold, the B70 required one minute to heat the water before it would allow brewing to start, then took 50 more seconds to actually brew the coffee. The K-Supreme started immediately and completed a 12 ounce cup of coffee in one minute and 35 seconds. I should note that a second cup of coffee from the older B70 machine required only one minute since the water had already been heated. So if you are making one cup of coffee the new K-Supreme is quicker, but two cups are completed a bit faster using the older machine. The biggest change in the K-Supreme brewer is the new Multi-Stream technology. Studies have shown that the key to extracting maximum flavor and strength from coffee grounds is a combination of dwell-time (how long the water is in contact with the coffee), temperature (high but not too hot) and turbulence (how thoroughly the water mixes with the coffee). All prior Keurig brewers utilized a single needle to inject water into the K-Cup. The new Multi-Stream system uses five needles to inject water into the K-Cup simultaneously. This increases turbulence and extracts more flavor. In addition to this change, the K-Supreme has a “Strong” option. This seems to add dwell time to the brewing process. So how well does it work? Just great! I compared Starbucks Pike Place coffee prepared on the new K-Supreme to that prepared on my trusty B70 Platinum. The new brewer produced a richer 12 ounce cup of coffee and the strong option did just that – made it stronger. However, I took the process a step further. I made a 6 ounce cup of coffee using a pod, then removed that pod, rotated it 180 degrees and reinserted that same pod and brewed a second 6 ounces into the cup. The result was even better than a single brew into a 12 ounce cup. Rotating the K-Cup added a second drain point on the bottom of the K-Cup and seemed to add more strength to the brewed coffee. The downside is that this nearly doubles the brewing time. My B70 has a temperature control and I have it set at 192 degrees (the maximum). The K-Supreme does not have a temperature control. So I measured the temperature of the coffee produced and it was the same for both machines – 180 degrees! I suspect that either the process of brewing the coffee lowers the water temperature a bit or my older machine needs to be decalcified. In any event, the temperature is fine for producing a great cup of coffee. One other difference between the older Keurig brewer and the new K-Supreme is that the latter is much quieter. It completes the full brewing cycle without all of the hissing, boiling and water-pumping noises of the older machines. This is a nice improvement and might make the process of preparing that first cup of coffee early in the morning a little less stressful! The K-Supreme also has an “Over Ice” option. This lowers the brewing water temperature to the minimum level required to accomplish the process and fixes the volume at 6 ounces. This is perfect for filling a glass which has ice cubes and the lower temperature will not melt all of the ice. Other notes: There are two lights on the top, near the control buttons. One signals when the water level is low and the other advises that descaling is recommended. The latter occurs after 250 cups have been brewed. The descaling process is automatic when you press the 8 ounce and 12 ounce buttons simultaneously for three seconds, then press the “K” brew button. To save energy the unit shuts off five minutes after a brewing cycle. Finally, be careful – never put any of the removable parts (water reservoir, drip tray) into a dishwasher – they will not survive! Hand wash only! There is really only one (minor) negative I can note about this coffee maker. Each time you brew a cup of coffee you have to select the cup size. It does not remain on the last size chosen like my old Keurig. But this is a very small quibble and the fact that it is my only complaint speaks very well about this great device. The new K-Supreme certainly meets the “elegant and neat” criteria chosen by the company’s founders when they chose the name, “Keurig” and this wonderful and evolutionary coffee maker has fully earned a full five stars and my very strong recommendation.

So good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I am not a previous Keurig owner. This is my first. I seen A LOT of reviewers posting about how their previous keurig was SO much better..... I love this thing. I've never had a cup of coffee with so much flavor. I came from a different brand that wasn't well known for coffee makers but it did the job, or at least I thought it did. I was always complaining about not getting the right amount of creamer to sugar like I just couldn't get it just right but the problem wasn't me. Anyway this machine gets my coffee hot which I really wanted above all else! Then the flavor of any pod I've used thus far has been AMAZING! Even the hot chocolate for my son is great and I haven't even tried the strong setting yet. The water reservoir having an optional resting point.... I mean come on! I immediately switched it to the back and have so much room on the counter. I have very limited space so this was just more added awesomeness! I'm using the filter but I already use filtered water so I don't know what the future holds for me a far as buying them on time and stuff. I'm curious when the descaling light will come on. I've had it like 6 weeks now and from previous reviews I saw people having trouble with this almost immediately but nope this has been a breeze. Oh and you can remove the drip tray to fit in travel mugs!!! Great right! Happy shopping everybody!

quality, neat and always fresh
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old coffee maker broke and was looking for a new replacement but I wanted to get rid of what I hated about it; like the amount of leftover coffee I get each brew, we always end up drinking old stale coffee for days since it's only for me and my wife; we hate wasting coffee. I chose Keurig as first option among many since most of my sisters have the old type and I was very curious about how neat, easy and convenient it was to brew though the price didn't thrill me that much but eventually, I chose the K-supreme and all the other choices just vanished. My plan was to use the refillable k-cups but at that time they didn't have one for mine (makes five holes on top of the K-cups). I almost returned it since none of the ones I bought would fit but luckily I decided to go to their website and realized they do have one for K-supreme that fits perfectly. It shipped to me superfast, ordered it Sunday evening and arrived to me Monday evening. So after about a month, here's what I notice: I have fresh, better tasting coffee everyday with no leftover coffee. I have more choices of coffee brands on k-cups and I save a lot of my coffee beans that I reserve for weekends only. What's neat is the mess I make when I brew - Zero, nada, no mess. I gave it 4 stars because (Keurig -if you're listening) should have included the refillable k-cup to go with it. I had to go through all the trouble of finding out I got the wrong k-cups, the frustration of not being able to save because it would have meant I can only use disposable brands and the price not very much justified at that point not being able to use my own ground coffee. For now I'm content after a month of use and I'm able to apply all my plans with it.

Best Coffee Maker Ever.... just Maybe!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keurig just keeps getting better. This coffee pot is the best. It is slim and fits nicely on the counter. You can choose to side or rear mount the water carafe which saves even more space. The coffee maker has multiple size options between 4 and 12 ounces. It has an option for strong and ice coffee. I am really happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend it.

||Posted . Great to wake up to.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The K Supreme is our 2nd Keurig, it replaced our first generation unit. We have had it for about 9 months now and its great. Gives us all the benefits of our first unit with some exception. Its faster and takes up far less of a footprint on our kitchen counter. If you are going to buy one of these, I suggest putting the reservoir on the back instead of the side, as pictured.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This model is one that I know and loved using even though the first one stopped working after only 15 1/2 months of use. So glad I found this at the store since it was the last one on the shelf and way cheaper than the newer models similar (even though this one was about $25 more than the first). Sure hope it lasts much longer than the first.

The build quality is inferior compared to comparably priced models past. Seems larger than needed, but I don’t know the inner workings. Overall, as long as you are gentle with it, great product. GREAT COFFEE BREWING SYSTEM!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Keurig K-Supreme Single Serve Coffee Maker is a new Keurig model, with great features. It delivers great coffee just like all Keurig machines! The K-Supreme is sleek and compact, and consumes a minimal amount of countertop space. It offers the additional flexibility of being able to mount the water reservoir either on the left side or the rear of the unit, to better optimize countertop space and convenience. The reservoir is factory configured for left-side installation, and that is how we chose to use it. In that side mounted configuration, the K-Supreme has a footprint of approximately 8” x 12”. The clear plastic reservoir has a generous 66 ounce capacity. Water is drawn, as needed, from the bottom of the easily removed reservoir. Thus far, the valve on the reservoir has functioned perfectly, and not a drop of water has leaked during refilling and replacing the reservoir on the base of the unit. A black plastic cover tops off the reservoir. Curiously, upon opening the factory sealed K-Supreme box, the top of the unit adjacent to the reservoir and the top cover of the reservoir tank were both very wet with water. I can only surmise that Keurig tests each coffee maker with water, during the manufacturing process. Since UPS, FedEx and USPS all seem to regard the “This Side Up” notices and arrows as “suggestions” rather than directions, this unit was inverted upon receipt. If you have a K-Supreme shipped, you may have a similar experience. The K-Supreme includes a water filter, which is mounted in a clear plastic “filter holder” which is then installed in the reservoir. The instructions for use of a new water filter are to soak the filter for five minutes and then rinse for 60 seconds. The filter, which is a small spun fabric pouch, appears to contain activated charcoal. Therefore, this filter will not only prevent large particulates from entering the machine (and the brewed coffee), but it should also remove (by absorption) some of the chlorine and other impurities which introduce objectionable tastes and odors in water. (Keurig warns against using distilled water in the brewer). Keurig states that the activated carbon filter should be replaced every two months, or 60 reservoir refills. Using the Keurig K Supreme is exceptionally simple and straightforward, and even luddites will not be intimidated. The top of the K-Supreme unit includes a power button. However, the unit turns on automatically when the handle is lifted, and the unit turns off automatically five minutes after completion of a brewing cycle (unit should be unplugged when not in use). Two small LED indicator lamps are also located on top. One serves to notify the user that water needs to be added to the reservoir, and the other provides notice of the need to descale the unit (after 250 brewing cycles). The brewing cycle control buttons are arranged circularly around a centrally located Brew Start button, which is emblazoned with a large “K”. All of the control buttons are LED backlit, and flash in unison while awaiting the user’s selection. Once a brewing option is selected by depressing the appropriate button (s), followed by depressing the center “K” – Brew button, the selection remains illuminated (solid) until the brewing cycle is completed, whereupon the LED backlighting is extinguished, clearly indicating the end of cycle. The backlit buttons not only facilitate brewing coffee in a low light setting, but they also provide clear confirmation of the user’s selections. Options include brewing 6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz or 12 oz servings, as well as a choice of “Strong” for a more robust brew and “Over Ice” for brewing directly over ice (at a lower temperature) when preparing iced coffee or tea. The drip tray and unit height easily accommodate a broad range of cup and mug sizes, including tall travel mugs. The K-Supreme starts brewing within just seconds of pushing the Brew button. It is particularly impressive and convenient that not only the first cup brewing starts so rapidly, but so does brewing of a second cup immediately thereafter. The K-Supreme has a new design that Keurig labels as Multi-Stream Technology. The K-Supreme features five (5) needles/nozzles which puncture the foil top of the K-Cup pods and introduce the hot brewing water to the pod. Keurig states that this new design, by more evenly saturating the ground coffee, more efficiently extracts flavor and aroma. We found that the K-Supreme produced exceptionally robust brewed coffee. Even the 10 oz setting resulted in extremely strong coffee. Clearly, any personal taste can be easily accommodated by the K-Supreme, whether the desired brew is strong, extremely strong, or “melt your fillings” strong! Of course, the K-Supreme is not limited to brewing coffee. Any Keurig approved K-Pod beverage, including tea and cocoa can be prepared with this system. Keurig maintenance recommendations include replacement of the activated carbon, in-tank water filter every 2 months, of 60 reservoir refills, and descaling the unit every 250 brew cycles (notification LED on top of unit). Keurig sells Brewer Care Kits containing replacement water filters, “rinse pods” and descaling solution. It is my understanding that Keurig Descaling Solution is citric acid based. I am not aware if descaling with a citric acid solution is superior to use of an acetic acid (vinegar) solution. The K-Supreme is compact and lightweight (approximately 8 lbs). Our only concern is that the plastic components, most notably the reservoir, filter holder, etc. likely require fairly gentle handling and use, to avoid any damage or breakage which might result from rough or careless handling or accidental impacts or drops. Having enjoyed the K-Supreme for only days, its long term durability is unknown. The Keurig K-Supreme is genuinely a great single serving, coffee brewing system. Operation could hardly be any simpler. Brewing speed is extremely fast, including both first and subsequent brewing cycles. The controls are very straightforward, and are comprised of brightly illuminated buttons which are a nice benefit for that first cup of coffee in a dimly lit kitchen. The selections provide all of the options necessary for serving size and brew strength. The reservoir has a generous capacity and an internal, replaceable activated carbon filter to remove unpleasant flavors from the brewing water. The reservoir installs and is removed with no effort, and no dripping water. The K-Supreme rarely, if ever drips any coffee after the conclusion of a brewing cycle. Thus, it is extremely easy to keep clean and sanitary. Most importantly, the Keurig K-Supreme delivers absolutely great coffee! The K-Supreme system produces strong, robust, full-bodied and flavorful coffee, and lots of the characteristic, inviting coffee aroma. The K-Supreme brews wonderful coffee in just minutes. Brewed coffee is dispensed and starts filling your cup/mug within seconds of pressing the Brew button, and the full brewing cycle is very rapid. When craving a cup of great coffee, the Keurig K-Supreme almost defines instant gratification. We are thus far extremely satisfied with the Keurig K-Supreme. It is working very well, and the coffee is fantastic! We certainly highly recommend the K-Supreme based on our experience.
