Purchased to replace 12 year old Klipsh center speaker. What a difference. Clarity is awesome. Hearing detail not heard before. Paired with my Yamaha RX3060 receiver purchased in January at Best Buy using price match and boy, what a marriage. Will eventually replace my older Klipsh speakers, but wanted to upgrade the most important speaker first. Currently, have my 60 inch swivel Samsung HD TV sitting on top of the speaker without any problems. Will look at other options when I upgrade to a larger SHD before Super Bowl 2018. Agree with one of the previous reviews I read which encouraged doing what ever you had to do, remodeling, etc., to fit this monster of a center speaker into your home entertainment system. You will not be disappointed.

Replaced my 12 year old Klipsch center speaker due to my hearing loss and this speaker was recommended by a Best Buy team member that worked in the Magnolia section of the local Best Buy store. The sound and words by the actors were so crisp & clear. If you have an entertainment system this center channel speaker is the BOSS!

I replaced an older JBL center with the RP 450C. Had read ALL the reviews before I made the leap. Although this center may be a little pricy, it is worth every penny (or dollar). Vocals are crystal clear. This center has outstanding performance for both movies and music. Just remember, great things sometimes come in big packages. This sucker is large and heavy but make room for it and you will definitely not be disappointed. I am quickly becoming a dedicated fan of the Klipsch brand. (Sorry JBL)

I should give this 4 out of 5 because at the highest level on my receiver, it seems the tweeter can't keep up when my other less expensive klipsch floor speakers and surround speakers seem not to have a problem performing. I emailed klipsch about this and they sent me a replacement tweeter, no questions asked so 5 stars on that! I'm giving it 5 stars becaus me it works really well until I push it to a level I wouldn't really watch movies.

This speaker was very impressive in size. The center channel is one of the most important in home theatre because it is a the dialogue channel so a nice big center speaker is important!

This sounds great with my other Klipsch tower speakers. Great vocals/voice out of this clear speaker. Great addition to my home theater.

I had a Boston center speaker and it was driving me nuts! Not clear or defined enough for me! So I bought the Klipsch smaller model R-25C, I still was not happy! I took it back to Best Buy no question return and bought this speaker RP-450C. Klipsch has made a believer out of me, now I can watch a movie and understand what they are saying!!!! One of my best buys from Best Buy.

The center channel is one of the most important as it delivers your dialogue. This speaker not only impressed me in size, but quality and clarity as well.

I was using a PSB center channel speaker had trouble hearing or understanding words while watching a movie but now that I bought my new RP-450c l really enjoy my movies & music

One word explanation. Awesome! You can't go wrong with this center channel speaker so long as you have the space for it....it is a monster at 30+ inches in width and 14 inches in depth. I recommend you remodel or do whatever you have to do and make space for the RP450C because it is an AWESOME center channel speaker that will rev up your HT with crystal clear dialogue and impressive appearance and performance. Also, it comes from an an outstanding lineup of speakers with plenty of options in the Klipsch Reference Premiere lineup. For example, I have the RP150M matched up with the RP450C. I wish I had space for floorstanding speakers such as the RP250F, but even the small RP150M bookshelf speakers pair up perfectly with the RP450C, You won't be disappointed. Make sure to shop around for the best price (check Klipsch website) and Best Buy will price match, which I find is convenient in case I need to return something since they are right here in town and have a decent return policy. I also tried the Polk Signature line, but returned them after hooking up these Klipsch speakers. No comparison, spend a bit more money you won't regret it.

I was hesitant at first about this purchase because of the cost but so glad that I decided to bite the bullet. I am hearing sounds that I've never heard before and have been amazed at how crisp the sound is. I have the 450c paired up with the RF26F and truly believe my sound is better than movie theater's sound system. Highly recommend anyone to buy this.

WOW!! Bought the entire Klipsch reference speaker system. Had Wharfdale speakers which are great. This is better! Crazy clear and crisp sound.
