I needed something to help me sleep and this did just the trick! It blocks out noise (I live in an apartment) and has a timer for 60 mins. and then shuts off. There are plenty of white noise and fan options to choose from.. I love it!

Easy to use. Small and compact volume level is great

At first I was a bit disappointed in the sounds that this machine makes. I had assumed that this made sounds like waves crashing on the beach. Or perhaps a stream gently rolling by, or rain drops falling. This is not that. This machine makes a total of twenty sounds. Ten are fan and ten are white noise. Personally I did not care too much for the white noise sounds. But I really liked the fan sounds as I usually have a fan blowing in the bedroom just for the noise it makes, not necessarily for the cooling except on hot summer nights. The fan sounds go from a huge industrial sound to oscillating, to a mellow fan. The unit has a volume switch so that you can adjust the sound from barely audible to very loud. Other switches are the on/off that also doubles as a timer switch for 1 hour then it will shut off gradually. The other switch a rocker type switch that you use to select the sound you want. A very cool feature of this machine is that you can plug it into a USB port on your computer, or in my case, my alarm clock has a USB port and I plug it into that. It also comes with an adaptor that you plug the USB power cable into, and then you plug that into the wall for power. You can view the cable and adaptor in my picture attached to my review. The machine is fairly heavy for it's size, a good thing I think as if it was too light, you may accidently push it off your night stand. It also helps that it has 4 silicone type feet to help prevent that. The machine is about the size of two hockey pucks stacked on top of each other. The USB power cord is a fairly generous 5 feet long. This machine is small enough to place in your luggage if you travel so that you can easily fall asleep when your staying in a hotel or even at a relatives house. I highly recommend this unit. It will save wear and tear on my fan and I'm sure on my electricity bill as well.

Because I suffer from ear tendonitis It’s very Important the sounds is smoothing and clear. Love the size, it’s great for a small space and traveling. I am please with the product.

Works well. Many different choices for sound. Was afraid it would not be loud enough as I have had bad experiences with other units in the past but this one seems to drown out all noise.

I'm the lightest sleeper--the slightest noise will wake me. I've been struggling, because I can hear the person above me walking in the morning. This machine blocks out the thumps and the street noise.

Fills the room with the perfect fan or white noise. Able to place on dresser on the other side of bedroom. It even keeps me from having to use my anti snore device. My wife says it drowns me out too.

I'd been wanting a white noise machine for a while and am pleased with this one. What sold me on buying the LectroFan is a review that said the sounds are NOT on a loop which you can hear end and restart on other machines. Personally I think a lot of the white noise and fan noises are pretty similar! It has a timer which an be set in one hour increments and the volume can be set up/down. A good choice

I have to have the fan on to sleep at night but in the winter it's too cold. So started looking at sound machines with fan noise only..I came across the Lectrofan and researched other brands and red all reviews..I took a chance with Lectrofan and so glad I did..Just what I wanted and it sounds so real like a fan I have..So now in the winter I still have my fan on at night ..

Unit worked well right out of the box. No problems. The inclusion of breaking ocean wave sounds and rain sounds would have earned five stars for this device. As is, it works great.

This product is absolutely perfect! I'm a super light sleeper so before this product I could forget about sleeping in on the weekend after my kids got up. Now, I can't even hear them. This sound machine not only blocks out their Fortnite gaming yells but it is so soothing and calming. How did I ever sleep without it?!

This is my first time using such a noise machine. Its very small and easy to use. It is powered by an AC adapter. But you can also connect it to a powerful USB port. This is basically a white noise producer that will mask other noises that keep you up all night. This device has a simple on/off switch and also has an option to keep it on only for 60 minutes maybe just until you fall asleep. You can control the volume of the noise to the level you want. The device has 10 different fan noises and 10 different white noise to choose from. I used the LectroFan chart to find the optimum setting. You can find what kind of noise is disturbing your sleep and then use that to block that external noise. Also, it will remember you setting when you power it down and turn it back up instead of setting the noise number and level again. I went through all the different noises. When you cycle back, you will hear a beep indicating you are back to the noise #1. I think this is a great device and recommend for anyone who needs help with falling sleep when earplugs are not of much help.

I have a shelter dog that barked all night at every car or noise on the street. This Lectrofan was a miracle for me! I turned it on & never heard a bark again at night! Thanks for all the sound options available! I only wish I had purchased this months ago!

I always have to have fan to sleep at night but it's too cold during winter months to run the fan.. I researched all sound machines and came across the Lectrofan with fan sounds so I thought I would try it..I am so glad I did..I love it, just like the fan is on without freezing!!!!!

The Lectrofan machine is very small, but packs a wallop in terms of volume. It really works for masking irritating noises outside your environment. It features a choice of 10 different 'fan sounds' and ten different pitches of 'white noise." I prefer the fan sounds, as they sound totally genuine even to the point where if you choose the 'oscillating fan' sound it rises and falls slightly as if an oscillating fan is moving back and forth. It's soothing and will drown out any irritating noise outside keeping you from sleeping or just relaxing. If you suffer from tinnitus or ringing of the ears, this unit can be a godsend as well. Even without actual outside noise, the 'ringing' sound in your head can keep you awake at night, the Lectrofan sounds can mask this and help you fall asleep. The unit is powered either by just plugging it into the wall, or you can use the USB cord to power it by a nearby computer. It's priced less than many other sound maskers i've seen which cost $100 or more. The only negative point I can point to is that the unit doesn't offer sounds of nature, such as rain, river sounds or a waterfall, but at this low price and its power, the Lectrofan is effective very and easy to operate. It'll fit great on a nightstand.
