Lenovo Chromebook Review.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is easily the best laptop I’ve ever owned. I never had a Chromebook until now. It’s lightweight, holds a good battery charge, fast, and very efficient. I can watch Netflix, Hulu, Sling TV, and more on here with the apps. I’ve even taken it to work with me. It wasn’t too bulky to carry with me like other laptops I’ve had in the past. I would recommend this Chromebook to anyone. The price was good too. You will not be disappointed if you buy one of these.

Durable, affordable laptop for all things entertai
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You won't find a better bang for your buck when purchasing the Lenovo-100e 11.6 Chromebook. I purchased mine last summer at an amazing sale price of $119.99! A fully functioning laptop, this Chromebook like all Google Chromebooks come with built-in malware and virus protection, with multiple layers of security. The Chrome OS system is always updating in the background, so you'll always have the newest version when it becomes available, a simple restart when you receive the notification. The Chromebook lacks some of the features that most of us are accustomed to in the more expensive Windows and MAC devices, but you can still write papers for class, put together spreadsheets for the office, video calls with friends and family, along with many other features using the various Google system extensions. The main reason I love this device is full access to the Google Play app store, just like on my Android smartphone. I'm able to link the two together so they go hand and hand, using my phone to open and access many of the systems and apps on my computer, while I can access and send text messages while on my chromebook. The memory on this device is 4GB, so you are able to run multiple apps and websites at the same time without receiving a lag in the system. The on board storage is only 32gb, but by adding an SD card for extra storage, the one I use is a 512gb SD card, same as the one on my phone, while utilizing different size external storage devices in the USB 3.0 port, so I'm able to save and access all of my music, movies and TV shows, and the years of backed up photos from other devices and systems whenever I need to. So to get the most out of this particular laptop, I've probably spent another $100 to $150 dollars on my storage devices, my 6 in 1 USB hub, and my external DVD drive. It's all about knowing everything you would like to get out of a laptop, and how much you're willing to spend. For me, this particular Lenovo Chromebook comes with the systems I use most for entertainment and communication at a more than affordable price, and it gives me the various options to easily add the extra storage and external devices. The one thing that this device lacks is a good sound system. The speakers are really lacking. I usually hook the laptop up to my TV through the HDMI port , and utilize my television speakers when I want to listen to music or a podcast when moving all throughout the house doing various things. So I would definitely look at some Bluetooth speakers or headphones, or many other ways you can boost the sound to meet your expectations. Do your research into the various Chromebooks on the market to see what will best meet your needs. The first feature I look at when shopping for Chromebooks is memory, so when I saw this Lenovo had 4gb of memory, at an unbelievable price, I immediately bought one for myself, and after seeing it in action for a few weeks, I purchased another one for a family member. It's been almost a year, and both are still in great working shape!

Worth the price I paid
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought the device for my 7 year old son to use to complete his online school work and it was the best purchase I have made. The picture quality for the Zoom meetings are great. The ease in operating the laptop is great because my son can operate by himself.

Reliable, light, resistant, good battery
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this chromebook amidst Coronavirus and the whole working remotely, I needed something fast, cheap and durable for my work from home office stuff and so far it has been great. Of course, as I read in revies before I bought this, is like a maximized version of a google chrome web page and that is just fine if you have Remote Desktop installed in your computer. What is your position within your company? A lot depends on that, I personally perform administrative topics and this was the perfect and cheapest solution, but most engineers different more complex programs and I dare to say thi will be a no-go for them. There are some weird things like you have to do ALT + click to access the left cursor? I'm not used to that and it can get annoying. I'm overall very happy with it. It's also pretty little so I take it with me in my purse at all time. I remembered I dropped it once to the concrete floor (by accident of course) and thanks to its rubber refurbished sides, it did nothing on this little guy! For $149 can't complain. :)

Minimalist's Dream
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to get away from my Windows Laptop because I was being unproductive and needed to focus more on my work. I've dabbled in Chromebooks in the past and had a generally middling experience with them, specifically the Samsung Chromebook 3. I saw this laptop being heavily discounted and didn't see anything inherently negative about it aside from everyone buying it for their son or daughter for school which gave me pause. I figured I could always return and took the leap. I've used Windows almost exclusively my entire life, now 33, and this machine is a breath of fresh air. Minimalist, fast, snappy, no bloat (but google is spying on you! so is everyone as long as I'm connected to any device in 2020). You have the option to browse as a guest if you're paranoid. Chrome has really improved, and 4GB provides no lag so long as you stick to less than 6 tabs and have a good internet connection. I really like how great the keyboard is, everything else (screen, speakers, build) are more than adequate. I'm always amused to hear people's gripes with an inexpensive machine. We want everything for nothing! Welcome to 2020 America. I keep this little guy at around 50% brightness, and 75% sound which takes care of most things well - battery life is phenomenal at 10+ hours. If the FHD screen is needed or touchscreen (why? Use your phone) you have to be careful not to creep up too much with prices, but if money isn't an issue then buy the best of the best which in my opinion is a Google Pixelbook. Everyone else will be happy with this guy, so long as they don't need windows exclusive apps or heavy processing. I stream with Spotify, I have an iPhone for everything else and don't foresee an issue. Even handles USB sticks just fine even though I've read otherwise elsewhere. For a dollar a day it pays itself off in a few months. Hardly worth a second thought, and as always, Best Buy offers a great return policy and has great open box deals (which this one was). Always prefer this store over Amazon and the new policies like 2 day shipping and customer service help make that decision easier. Thanks for the read!

Performance is impressive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Chromebook isn't going to win any awards for its appearance. It's basic, and it lacks that high-quality feel of many of the sleeker designs of many laptops (regardless of OS or manufacturer). However, it's also built to be tough, so if you need an inexpensive laptop that can take a beating, this definitely will meat your needs. I got this for an amazing price, but even at it's regular price, it's impressive. It's very responsive and snappy. This model has a small screen, which makes it light and portable. Obviously not a good choice if you are planning on sitting in front of it most of the day, but it won't weigh you down if you need a portable device. This is also a great option for kids who need a laptop, since it is designed to be tough, but isn't terribly expensive if it gets lost or broken.

Bought for my mother in law, then got one for me!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over the years, I've given my mother-in-law a desktop and a laptop. She enjoys the capability, but the desktop is not portable and the laptop is heavy and doesn't have a long battery life. Security patches, antivirus, and general maintenance is also a bit of a pain. I got her a smartphone which gives her a very portable device with long battery life, but a very tiny screen for her eyes. She also really hasn't gotten the hang of the on-screen keyboard. Getting her a tablet didn't solve the keyboard issue. The Lenovo 100e seemed to fit her requirements nicely: It doesn't have all the fancy (expensive) features that she'll never use, but what she will use, it does very well. While configuring it for her, I realize that it also filled a niche for me. So I ordered a second one. Battery power is excellent, performance meets my needs, keyboard and trackpad work well. Overall, an excellent starter Chromebook.

Perfect Portable Size
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased due to needing a smaller laptop when out and about. Love the size, speed, and durability. I also love the fact that you have the option to sign in using your gmail account for regular use or switch to guest user when others need to use it as well. I was surprise to find that it had a HDMI slot on the side that only required the cord connected to the source without an adapter! I LOVE this feature, due to reducing the amount of cords to carry and the quickness to connect. Also, have experience quick speed and connectivity to the WIFI/link. The color resolution and display is great, even when connected with other electronics. Oh and the outer hardware material is wonderful, especially for children/clumsy/ active users!

Have two of these - highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have two of these for my kids to do school online now, due to cv19. Performance is great. Webcams are fine. Battery is fine. Size is great for kids. Keyboard and trackpad work great. As a Windows guy my whole life, I was skeptical of Chromebooks but Google has made me a believer. Parental controls work well. Office online works fine. Zoom extension now works thanks to a recent update. One of ours got dropped off the counter with no noticeable problems. Headphones/mic jack works fine. I have no complaints!
