We needed a new PC and this is a powerful system. Lots of storage space. I love the portability of the all in one. You can pick it up like an iPad and move it to a different location. Watch a movie or work on the large screen in somewhere other than the office. The Lenovo also comes with game pucks to play air hockey and other games. The apps are easy to obtain and the transition was really smog. Love it!

Great Idea, Reality Not Quite As Good

First let me say that this idea, a 27-inch touchscreen monitor with both a computer and a battery built in is awesome. Since I'm not a gamer, I doubt that this will ever be laid flat, but even that is a terrific idea. Most of all, my wife is visually impaired (retina disease) to the extent that even a screen magnifier like ZoomText isn't always enough. This also meant a 23" monitor was usable, but limited, since you can only see so much of a web page when you're using 3x to 4x magnification. Now she can use a lower magnification and see more on the monitor with this 27" device. Unfortunately, this device really needs just a couple of tweaks, and certainly Lenovo could provide a more succinct and easy-to-follow path to Windows 10. Even with the original Windows 8.1, this device has difficulty recognizing a keyboard or mouse plugged directly into a USB port (like my wife's large-print-keys keyboard). It will wake from sleep and not respond to any USB keyboard or USB mouse events until you go into Device Manager, Uninstall the two devices it can't recognize (even though it labels them as keyboard and mouse with !'s), then Scan for hardware changes, after first unplugging and replugging the USB connections. Even so, this was a good buy!

Fantastic hardware needs some addons for my use

I bought this 27 inch all in one for my office. I needed dual monitors. I had planned to use the HDMI port for the second monitor but it turns out that is for HDMI in only a fact unknown to my Best buy sales person or Leveno!. This seems to have been corrected in the specs. There is no Ethernet port either, BB documentation is not correct. To make the unit usable for business purposes you need to upgrade the Windows 8 home to Windows 8 or 8.1 professional this allows you to join a domain. You can use built in wireless AC or purchase a USB 3.0 gigabit adapter, I bought a hub that included the Gb ethernet. For a second monitor you must purchase a USB to VGA,DVI or HDMI adapter. I bought a USB 3.0 to VGA adapter for this. There is some sort of software pack from Intel but I have yet to get any info how to get it or when it will be avalible. I wish Leveno had a business pack that included all of the above. With all that said this is a fantastic computer, fast quiet, great high resolution multi touch monitor. As it is sold it is a great computer for home and family gaming. The Aura interface is ahead of anything else I have seen. I can not get the NFC function to work with my Samsung note 2. I would like to be able to have the function keys, alt and Ctrl in a on screen bar to make my business programs more keyboard free the windows virtual keyboard takes up too much screen space his to get these. I am planning to buy 3 more even with the needed addons. I love this computer!

If you are a gadget person this is the tablet for you. Yes it can go into pc mode by simply attaching the included dongle but a tablet that comes with joy sticks, hockey pucks and dice is over the moon awesome! If you think Iron Man or any new day science geek looks cool flinging images around on their computers with all 10 fingers then this is the Lenovo product for you. The table is available to affix the tablet to. When you purchase the table it truly ups the anti. Now it becomes an arcade game for four people! This thing is insane!

    Innovative "Cool" New Gadget

Was looking to get a somewhat permanent desktop-like computer that didn't take up much space. Although the screen on this is massive, its footprint is very minimal. Purchased a USB Blu-Ray Reader/Writer from LG for around 80 bucks at the store to go with it because I'm old school like that. The combination of working like a desktop with the ability to also work as a tablet finally bridges the gap as this is essentially the first of the fully functional tablets that can do anything a desktop can do. Only gripe on this particular model is the 5400RPM HD. Could have gotten the next model up with SSD but with the price this was on sale for, I can swap out for an SSD and upgrade the memory while I'm in there. ***Some issues that may be important to people. There is no internet jack on this, so wireless or use a USB port and buy the adapter. Also, there is no memory card reader. Cheap to get one (About 10), but something else to look at***

Word of advice, if you want to make this your primary computer and then hook it up to a spare monitor- you will need to do so with a usb cable from this computer to your spare monitor which might require a usb to your monitor cable adapter. Other than that hiccup it works great. I use this for work and have multiple programs going on at once which require a powerful computer and this does it all. Very impressed. Love the portability. Love the touchscreen. I had to download a windows 7 converter (windows 7 shell) so I didnt have to mess with the windows 8 but it made it look like the easy to use Windows 7. Love the sound and display as well. Oh you will want to turn of the "light sensor" in the display settings or else it will randomly dim on you. Would buy again.

Love the concept for family. Large format is great to work on. Games are good for kids/family. Machine is a little on the slow side for the amount of money invested. Also, fan can run a little loud sometimes. Attempted to upgrade to Windows 10 and had the Aura platform continually crash. Maybe updated version will be compatible.

I came to the store with my mind made up to get a 27" iMac !! After the Intel guy told us about this all in one I fell in love with it but didn't buy it that day!! Came home did my research and sure enough the review were great! First of all the computer is very quit! Second, it's touch screen feature is very responsive Third, it protect your eyes because of the anti glare system And last , it is movable in and out of the room I went back to get one and there was a different guy telling me how horrible it is and trying to tell me I should get an IMac !!!! I went with my intuition and trusted my research but thin one ( they had a certified open box for $300 cheaper ) and I LOVE it hands down !!!!!!

It's like using a tablet but with the biggest screen, faster and huge memory. It even has its own graphic card for games and apps. you should try the Aura feature a great innovation by Lenovo. I can take this anywhere and it greatly help on my client presentations they are awed once I take it out from the carrying bag that looks like a reusable grocery bag!

Was easy to st up and the large screen is awesome. This is our first sll in one computer and are pleased so far. Bought it because of it's versatility but honestly will only be used as a desktop because of its size. Not sure yet if the all in one for the price is a good deal yet. Too early to tell but the kids love it.

It is everything we wanted. Large screen, touch screen, portable. The battery life is great. My only issue is we can't get the Arura to work. The table top feature with the games, keeps stop working as soon as you lay it down to play. That's why I can't give it 5 stars

Big, beautiful display. Set up was pretty simple and straight forward. One of the selling points for a device is it's portability. It's able to be used as a large make shift tablet. The issue: battery life not all that strong. The truth is that most people would buy a smaller machine for that purpose. I'd say if you're looking for the best of the best, this is your choice.

I researched a lot of computers and this is the one I decided on. A lot of versatility. I like that multiple people can use it at once and it can be disconnected from a power source and still work for hours. It is a Christmas present for my kids. I can't wait to give it to them!

the tablet, the fact that you can use it as PC and as tablet, plus the very innovative Lenovo 27 '' game and media software makes it really a great piece of computer. What I don't like is that the Win 8 software loaded is still full of bugs, example: at the beginning the touch screen feature and functions did not work, had to load a win 8 patch to make it work. hope the quality of the OS software will match the quality of the HW
