So…right from the start let me say I do indeed like this PC from Lenovo. I originally had a MacBook Pro M1 but my sister got into college so I decided she could use it for her study’s. Being left without a pc, and working from an old Lenovo AiO Desktop from 2015 or something, I decided it’s time to get a pc. I chose this Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15ALC7 because one, it was half off, duh! BTW, Thank you Best Buy! But two, and most important, because this laptop is very capable of running multiple programs at any given time. It had a great display, and it can be used for light gaming for when you want to take a break from work or studies. Example: I can have YouTube tutorial videos opened, jot down notes from class lectures on Word, and work on a document in OnShape. No issues. As of now, everything seems to be running smooth. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because for a PC like this, there should be backlit keys installed. Shouldn’t take some time out of your day, having technical know-how, and say about $30-$80 additional dollars to have backlit keys installed. There’s that and the battery life topic, on this thing, battery life has me puzzled, some days it lasts like it says it’s intended to, and other days I’m finding myself plugging in once or twice a day. Still I like it. Kinda giving apple vibes with its sleek design but it’s okay, I like not having that big apple front and center.

High quality build from lenovo. Comes with the radeon 5700m apu and 16gb of ram so will work fine for bothe home and casual gaming. Just keep in mind it only has a 512Gb ssd. Plenty fast, starts up to log in screen in just a few seconds. Beautiful display and battery life is decent, though its definitely a radeon you're running. Lastly, one of the best feeling chicklet keyboards I've ever used....

Great device. Smooth with enough power to do my daily work. The reason i took a star off is I wish they offered it in 16gb ram because when you have several apps open you then sees a slow down and even a stutter. However if you have a few tabs or apps open it will run flawless.

I recently purchased a Lenovo laptop and I am absolutely loving it! The touch feature is fantastic and the speed of the computer is perfect for all my schoolwork, research, and entertainment needs. It has truly become an essential part of my daily life. I am so impressed with the quality and performance of this laptop that my family has also decided to become a Lenovo family. We couldn't be happier with our choice!

The laptop is good, it’s fast and handles all of my applications with ease with no lag or stutter. I have no complaints when it comes to performance but my only gripe with this computer is that the battery life is a bit on the low side. I don’t do many battery-intensive activities on the laptop, programming being the main thing I do on it, and the battery lasts for about 5-6 hours on average. That is significantly lower than the description quoting about ‘9 hours’ of screen on time. Even basic tasks like watching YouTube, surfing the web, or replying to emails drains the battery quite a bit so idk what’s going on there. Regardless, I feel happy with my purchase as the laptop suits my needs perfectly and I will definitely recommend it to people looking for a reliable laptop that can do basic and and some intensive tasks with ease.

Laptop works for what I need, bought it for as a new college laptop price wasn't bad for it being on sale. Sound quality isn't the greatest, I think the placement of the speakers was a poor choice, it is on the bottom sides, so I feel it being on a surface it sounds muffled. Battery life is well I've been using it for few days and haven't charged it yet, after the first initial charge. The keys don't light up on this laptop, which I thought did, which was kind of sad. Screen size is perfect compared to the smaller pc I had, runs soon, only had an issue with it not correcting date and time with it being on autozone for time but if you hit the sync button on the settings from an your previous pc account it should correct it.

Only used it for about 2 Weeks. So far, seems to be a good value for the price. Love the 16 GB RAM at this price point. Only con so far is that the pics online for this model show that rhe power button is also a fingerprint scanner, definitely not the case for this model.

I got a good deal two weeks ago, I was able to get this computer for only 429.99 and I think it was well worth it. The motherboard, the amount of RAM and SSD memory are difficult to find for this price

Wanted something for my son to use and be able to keep up with his friends. Will run beamNG smooth on low settings. Gets the job done. Very snappy for school work and browsing. No issues so far.

Good laptop for everyday office work using Microsoft office apps and quickbooks.

best for freshman student and regular use best buy wont disappoint you on this one , best for least price average laptop but very affordable and reliable

We are still finding our way around this laptop, so far everything is working fine. The graphics look great. Everything is running smoothly. I would recommend this laptop to family @nd friends.

This Lenovo laptop was offered at a price I couldn't pass on. It works great. I do wish it had a net port and the usb-c port doesn't charge, but I do enjoy the battery life. I use it with a wireless mouse and will start to use the touchscreen once I get used to that concept. All in all, it was a good purchase and I have no buyer remorse.

Very solid laptop for my needs, including home use of MS Office programs and light graphics editing. Easy setup; transfer of files from old laptop was underwhelming due to Windows and not the laptop.

Overall its pretty good. Only issue is the keyboard, I prefer separate keys for 'home' and 'end' which my Dell laptop had. Now I have to press two keys so the right arrow key works as an 'end' key.

Good laptop for office use. Not super powerful but gets the job done for simple work.

Laptop works great good for school and daily use as well as low level gaming.

Had trouble setting up & had to bring back to store to have Geek Squad do it. Big changes from our previous computer - working through them - so far so good ...

Easy to use and learned to navigate easily. Glad I picked lenovo
