Physical keyboard broke within 3 months. Lenovo support was a nightmare to deal with for repair. I will never purchase a Lenovo product again after this experience. If you decide to purchase I would buy the warranty protection through Best Buy. They are great to deal with.

Thought I was going to love it. 17 days after I bought it, the screen started to scroll pink lines randomly. After trying a bios update, windows update and changing the display setting, it did nothing. Promptly took it to Best Buy and was told after 15 days you cant return it/exchange it. I was told to contact lenovo which I did. After 2 days of trying to get someone to help me now they will send me a prepaid box so I can ship it back, and they will fix it and send it back to me. That will be 2 weeks I am without my work laptop. Great! Not even 3 weeks old and it already needs repairs? Never buying Lenovo again, and I'll never buying a laptop from BestBuy again. I was offered by Lenovo to upgrade my warranty and it would be a quicker turn around time. I shouldnt need to upgrade my laptop warranty if they made a quality product! Live & learn.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the screen image of your Lenovo Flex 5i 15, model number 82HT00CQUS. Resetting your computer back to original factory settings may correct the issue you are having with the screen image. Power off the computer, leave it plugged in. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the headphone jack on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you Follow through with the plan to send your Flex 5i 15 to Lenovo Tech Support for hardware repair. Lenovo

Worst computer I have ever bought. Camera is completely non functioning, and Best Buy does not, in my opinion, stand behind it.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the built in webcam on your Lenovo Flex 5i 15, model number 82HT00CQUS. Be sure the Privacy Shutter is completely open before trying to use the webcam or the webcam will not operate. There is a small slider, directly above the webcam lens. Move the tab to the right to open the Privacy Shutter. There is a red dot over the webcam lens that will disappear when the Privacy Shutter is fully open. This will indicate that the webcam is really to use. You can close the Privacy Shutter when you are done with the webcam for your security, by sliding the tab to the left to close the Privacy Shutter. The Red Dot will appear over the webcam lens when the Privacy Shutter is closed. If the issue continues, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 Lenovo

I wasn’t going to leave a review but I noticed all the reviews were from people who recently purchased this laptop. The problem with this laptop seems to appear after sever months of use. The hinges fail. Check other sites for reviews. In my case, a screw stripped out and damaged the screen. My laptop never left my house, it was babied and in perfect condition. Never dropped or taken anywhere. The only damage was my greasy finger prints on the touch pad. One day I opened the laptop and the hinge failed. I found a screw stuck underneath the bezel, I tried to screw it back in but it was stripped. I still had 4-5 months on my basic warranty. I reached out to Lenovo and was told the damage would be considered my fault and therefore not covered. I suppose it was my fault for opening the laptop but it wasn’t from improper use or mishandling. I really liked the laptop, but after seeing so many reviews from people experiencing the same issue I can’t recommend this product until Lenovo owns up to the deficiencies in the product. At one time I was going to send this in hoping they would stand behind their product but the reviews tell me this won’t happen. Do your research, see what the reviews are like after several months.
