Exactly as advertised | Highly satisfied
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very excited to get this pc. Especially at this price point during the GPU prices being so high. Let me start by saying I really love this PC now. Runs all the games I like at a very satisfactory fps. I'm not super competitive in games. I prefer single player RPG's. I do believe that in the future the graphics card can be upgraded to the RTX 3070 as it has a powerful enough Power Supply. (650W) So that's a plus. Haven't had any thermal problems at least for how I use it and play games. I will say I only play at 1920X1080. May get a 1440p monitor in the future and that may affect how I feel about the computer. But for now it really rocks. I did however have one hiccup that really scared me at first. So I called my friend on a video call cause I wanted him to see when I press the power button and we see the pc come alive. Well I pressed the power button and no display came on. I had it plugged into a 32 inch tv as I didn't have a monitor yet. I didn't have the car that day as my wife was using it and the her car was in for repairs. Wife went to go get her hair done which was gonna take several hours. Getting some perm or something idk. Point is I was stuck at home with a pc with no display. So I scoured the internet. Troubleshooting every possible way I could. Checking everything from all the connection to switching the ram up and checking that nothing was DOA. Finally nothing worked. I thought please don't be that that graphics card was faulty. Wife came back and I rushed to a pc repair shop near. They were closing in 10 mins. They plugged it into a monitor a bam. There was a display and since then I never looked back. PC has been running great. I think it was some resolution problem that the tv wasn't compatible or something. Moral of the story. If you get this and no display on a tv definitely try a monitor before troubleshooting a whole bunch unnecessarily. I bought a monitor that day and man have I been so pleased at the butter smootheness this computer offers. Sure it's not the highest end pc but if you want to game and can't afford something more expensive. This really offers a lot of bang for the buck.

Exceptional value, details below...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had an excellent experience with this computer over the last couple weeks. I believe this is an exceptional value and is a very good platform for making upgrades in the future. Lots of details below: 1. I ordered my Lenovo Legion Tower 5 desktop on Oct. 1, 2021 and picked it up around the middle of October a few days after it arrived at my local store. It seems that the specs may have shifted slightly in the last couple weeks. Mine is a AMD Ryzen 7 5800, 16 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 3060, 512GB SSD + 1 TB HDD, and was purchased for $1,299 + tax. 2. Although the specs listed a B550 motherboard, mine actually came with an upgraded X570 motherboard, which is great. For me, the main benefit (as I understand it) is that both of the m.2 slots would support a Gen 4 NVME SSD. 3. My computer came with 2x 8 GB of Samsung RAM, running at 3200 MHz (and, to match those with 2 additional 8GB RAM sticks of the same Samsung SKU is unreasonably expensive). In online message boards, it seems that some people are having trouble finding RAM upgrades that operate at 3200 MHz (since the motherboard doesn't support XMP profiles/overclocking of RAM). I took a shot at purchasing a TEAMGROUP Elite Plus CL22 DDR4 64GB Kit (TPRD464G3200HC22DC01), and it's working perfectly. Just dropped it in an it operated at 3200 MHz without touching BIOS. Passed the Window memory diagnostic with flying colors. 4. My computer came with a Seagate 1 TB HDD and a Samsung OEM-only NVME SSD. The HDD went in the trash before I even turned on the computer. The Samsung NVME SSD unfortunately is pretty junky. It operates only at Gen 3 speeds. The Samsung Magician software recognizes it, but locks it out of most of the functionality. (You can't run diagnostics, upgrade the firmware, etc. Pretty clear this is bottom of the barrel.) It sits under the video card (which is secured by an additional brace as far as I can tell), so it would take a bit of effort to switch it out. That said, my expectation is that a replacement Gen 4 NVME SSD would work well here. Maybe that's an upgrade I'll make in a couple years. 5. The other, open M.2 slot sits just below the CPU, partially covered by the CPU fan. I took a shot at installing a Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB NVME SSD without taking off the CPU fan. Miraculously, even with my big, clumsy fingers, I was able to work it into position and install it without issue. Man, this thing is screaming fast. I'm using it for holding my library of games. 6. I reinstalled Windows after purchasing this computer, just to have a clean install. I did have an issue where Windows didn't recognize the wifi card and I actually needed to plug in an ethernet cable to finish the install. After the installation was complete and drivers were updated, the wifi is working perfectly. 7. Other observations: The airflow looks to be great. It's very quiet (though I haven't been playing the most demanding games). I don't think I'll ever outgrow the 650 watt power supply. Assuming you're not looking to play super-demanding games at high resolution (and pay lots more $$$), this is a great platform that will last a long time.

This thing is a beast!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this PC. It plays all my games at 60fps or higher at 1080p/1440p at high to ultra settings. This PC is also a beast when it comes to emulators. I'm playing Metroid Dread on this thing, lol. It's also extremely quiet. The build quality is very nice. Looks very premium. Would recommend Lenovo over other brands.

Great computer, great syncing software
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really nice computer. Sufficient memory to operate Windows smoothly. I was really impressed with the transfer software. The old computer was connected via an Ethernet cable. This computer via WiFi. So the syncing software wasn't able to talk between computers, but it offered the ability to connect an external drive to facilitate the transfer of data. Piece of cake. Dell's sync software doesn't offer this option.

It 's my surprise
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Lenovo system exceeds my expectation, it is very much quiet. Updating software is easy, especially with BIOS firmware, it comes with AM4-X570 mobo, looks as if a full ATX motherboard, plan to add another 32 GB of RAM and 2T of M.2-NVMe SSD. It will rock!

Great prebuilt PC.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best prebuilt PC's you can find right now. Amazing air flow, and really great temperatures. The only downside is that the case came little dinked on the front (probably UPS's fault), other than that I recommend this pc.

Pc
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well, runs all the games i play without ever dropping below 60fps. It has decent air flow for what the case is but id recommend installing bigger a fan at the back of the case or adding fans to the top of the case.

Quality Control
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased after reading rave reviews about Lenovo's build quality. Had this shipped to store. Box was in great shape and the packaging was excellent. Mine has a wobbly/off-balance cpu fan which is visible at any speed, so how it passed inspection is beyond me. At higher speeds it is very loud and makes an uneven whirling noise. Gpu hot spot temperatures climb into the mid to high 80°C range immediately once I have any game up and running (not on max settings). Smaller problem, one led light was doa. Just poor quality control. After contacting Lenovo for warrenty service, I was instructed to exchange at Best Buy. Since this computer is usually out of stock, I have no choice but to return it and be without a computer again. Frustrating experience with Lenovo, but Best Buy is solid.
