Salazar's Yoga
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a great machine. I have really enjoyed the cell phone charging area because it cuts down on the amount of wires that I have. I will say that it took me a minute to get the right person to inform me on how I could get three (3) additional monitors hooked up. Ever since I was able to get that done, doing homework has been easier. I have a screen for the spreadsheets, the actual file, the instructions, etc...everything I need. The size of the monitor is perfect for the spreadsheet, I no longer have to increase or decrease the size to see all of what I need or did not need.

Awesome Computer for an Awesome deal!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to grab this when it was on sale. Really fast out the box. The processor is a good one with more than enough power. Plenty of ram to get the job done and the NVME SSD is way faster than the SATA SSD's I am used to. Video card helps more with graphic intensive applications than it is useful for gaming. However, I have played some games at 1080p settings with great frame rates. Lower settings of course. I had to manually set some applications to use the AMD card because the integrated Intel card is still active. You can delete the driver for the intel card though for an easy solution to this. I enjoy Windows 10. I haven't seen any software issues yet. The screen is bright and quality is awesome. The touch screen performance is great too. Plus thunderbolt 3! The Windows Hello camera works well. I love being able to unlock the computer with a face scan. The speakers sound great for computer issues. I am pleased that they connect via bluetooth as well. I play music with my phone all the time with the computer off. The wireless phone charger is a neat feature and fast charges my Note 9. I like the keyboard. The mouse works well and is all you really need. However, I prefer the shape and function of the Logitech MX Master 2S or the Microsoft Precision Mouse. The tilt on this thing is awesome! The little LED light bar at the bottom of the monitor is a nice feature and more useful when the screen is tilted. Movies look and sound great on this too. I wish the pen worked better. I swapped it for a Bamboo Ink. It can be frustrating using the pen. You can turn the touch off when using the pen via windows setting. However, if the pen moves more than half an inch away from the screen, the pen disconnects and the touch is active again. I find my palm creating lines all the time with regular drawing. I guess I need to adjust my form. It all works well when you do it right. My favorite feature is that you can swap and replace almost anything (You cannot upgrade the graphics card, and really don't want to given the current power supply and fan system). I replaced the main NVME SSD with a 512 GB Samsung 970 Pro and the secondary drive with a 1TB Samsung 860 Evo. I upgraded the wifi card to an Intel AX200 (wifi 6) card with bluetooth 5.0. New wifi card works flawlessly. Lenovo has a list of all the replaceable parts on its website and also has a manual that shows you how to replace most of them. I upgraded to 32 GB Ram. I also bought an the AORUS RTX 2070 Gaming Box, as this has eGPU support. It works really well and I can play on high settings with awesome frame rates now. Plus it helps a lot with photoshop, illustrator, and premiere pro. Sure, you can build a more powerful gaming PC for less. But it isn't just about power with this All-In-One. The overall design plus the 4K touch screen with pen support (not to mention processing power) really wins the race for me. I am really happy with my purchase.

Excellent Machine for the Creative Professional
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good the machine itself is well built and feels solid. The display is beautiful and the way it moves into a canvas style position is very clever. The ability to just start sketching/painting all on one machine has been so great for my workflow(im an illustrator/graphic designer). So far only real hiccups I've faced is with Windows 10 (updates and processes inexplicably running at %100), but if you've ever had a windows machine your prob aware that this is par for the course(even though I feel windows 10 has improved a lot). I upgraded the memory to 32gb(through Amazon) so the machines extra snappy now. Photoshop runs well though at times fan gets pretty loud. Illustrator runs smooth and also Clipstudio, Sketchbook pro(windows app version runs much better then desktop version). The active pen provided is absolute trash(will shut off and on while drawing) so I def recommend buying another pen, I'm using bamboo ink and its been great. So to summarize: Pros: - Beautiful screen - Clever design, wireless charging trays awesome - Very fast machine for the creative apps ive used so far - touch is super responsive - the lenovo dial is genius, works with Photoshop, Illustrated, Lightroom, Sketchbook pro(desktop. app), word, excel too hope. they add more to the. lineup Cons: - A few windows 10 issues - active pen is garbage - smaller startup disk. 256gb (pcie ssd)

Great AIO Wacom Enabled PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is certainly an odd piece of tech on the outside. Big screen attached to a soundbar with a wireless charging pad glued to the side. I bought it on sale and open box so it was just too tempting versus a standalone Wacom screen. Powerful 6 core 12 thread i7, 16gb of ram, and I also upgraded the stock SSD. It is very fast and handles Adobe CC with east. The dedicated GPU is fine for medium quality 1080p gaming and is also able to be upgraded through an external gpu through thunderbolt. The knob on the side is very intuitive and can be programmed for a litany of functions in various apps. The screen is solid but does have a slight tint to it because of the Wacom AES tech in the screen. The pen works well with no complaints. The screen is massive. I would advise artists to use a drawing glove. Its not that pretty. Its kinda weird. A computer sitting on top of a sound bar with a wireless charging tray taped to the side. It is however fabulous in its execution. My cell phone and pen are always charged on a pc with great sound that also has a huge wacom screen it. Quirky but super functional device. I would caution anyone who upgrades the SSD and installs Windows fresh to download Lenovo's driver tool to update the drivers in combination with Lenovo's upgrade service. It installed many different drivers that fixed issues with sleep, wake, and screen color versus the stock Windows drivers.

Absolutely Love this Computer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this computer a little over a month now, and so far I absolutely love it. I primarily use this computer for paying bills, occasionally working from home, editing personal photos, drawing, mindless computer games, and web browsing. COMPUTER = This computer starts up super quick and is extremely quiet. The setup was super simple, it was pretty much a plug & play event. When I first bought this computer, I had also purchased a 32GB memory card because I wanted it to be super fast when opening multiple high memory programs (i.e., Corel Paintshop Pro, quilting/embroidery software, and a very large database), but after using it a couple of times, I felt the 16GB was fast enough, so I ended up returning the 32GB memory card. I may expand the memory later, but for now, I don't think it needs it. There is no CD/DVD drive on this computer, which doesn't bother me at all since I pretty much download all my programs now anyway. Transferring the disc-loaded programs from my other computer was a bit of a challenge and I ended up getting a program called PCmover-Home, by LapLink, which worked pretty well and used our wireless network to transfer the programs and files from my old computer. It was pretty quick too. If this program is something you would be considering buying, I recommend that you purchase it directly from the website. PICTURE/SCREEN = The screen is the size of a small television and I think the picture quality is amazing; the colors are vibrant and the picture is very clear. I love how you can adjust the angle of the screen and use it like a drawing pad, which for me makes drawing and photo editing easier, more comfortable, and therefore more enjoyable. The only negative I have about the screen is that it is shiny, so it reflects some of the lighted objects in the background. This can be a little distracting and I generally don't see the background light when I'm focused on doing something, but every once in a while it will catch my eye. SOUND/SPEAKERS = I think the speakers are pretty good for being computer speakers. To me the sound is clear and it has a good tone, but I don't listen to stuff at a blaring decibel level, so I may not be the one to really ask about this. KEYBOARD/MOUSE = The keyboard is super thin, the keys are very low profile, it stays charged for a relatively long time, and I really like how it fits snugly on to the stand. At work, I type on about 3 to 4 different keyboards every day and I have to say this one is my most favorite to use. The mouse is also very comfortable and responds really well. I haven't had to make any tracking adjustments at all. The mouse pad tray thing is fantastic. It has a grove for the pen and is a nice storage area for the mouse when I'm not using it. The thing I like best though, is that it charges my phone, which I find super useful because it's just one less thing I have to have on my desk. PEN = I have not had any problems with using the pen and so far it has responded well for me. The only improvement I would recommend is to have some type of soft rubber cushion (like you find on the Pilot Dr. Grip pens) to make it a little bit more comfortable and not so slippy. It is a little heavy (due to the batteries), but that doesn't really bother me too much. I haven't used it for marking documents yet, but I'm sure it will work just fine. OVERALL = Is this computer worthy of being a professional graphics computer? Well, I have no clue because I'm not a professional graphic designer, but it's perfect for me and what I use it for. I think it's a great computer and have no regrets buying it.

The perfect all in one
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.More powerful and upgradable than the surface studio for $1000 less. More innovative than any IMac Great for media, productivity and not just for artists/editors. Unbelievable 4K 27inch touch screen that swivels down into a giant tablet. It’s beautiful to look at and interact with. Only Two cons...... 1.Speakers are surprisingly weak for such a large base that promotes a “Dolby Atmos” sound quality. 2. I upgraded the keyboard and mouse pretty quickly as they leave much to be desired It even has a wireless charging pad for my phone! I love this computer and even got it at a discount open box. I paid 2 grand when I believe the surface studio starts at $3500. Also Having the flexibility to know I can upgrade both the ram and ssd at any point makes me feel like I’ll have this computer for years to come. What a deal!!!!

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is almost everything to like about this computer. It has great brightness and resolution, the sound is clear and sharp, and the speed of the computer is excellent. It comes with a pen and a wireless charging pad. If I could change 2 things, it would be quieter cooling and another usb-c port. Several times a day the computer heats up and the fans spin up and collect the computer off. When this happens it is really loud. All things considered, there’s no other computer that I would trade this one for.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga A940-27 All-In-One System, model number F0E50000US. There is an internal fan to keep the system running at proper temperatures. This fan runs automatically and changes RPMs based on the system workload. If the fan seems to be running when the workload is idle to low, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

Pretty much everything you could want
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased and returned two all-in-one models before settling on this Yoga, realizing this was the only model that would satisfy and anything else was a compromise. (I’m actually a slave to Apple technology, so this was a deviation.) Besides the fine graphics and touchscreen, it’s quick, quiet, and capable. I appreciate a lot of the extra features, like the moveable screen, hideaway camera, face recognition (Windows), and the digital pencil included. Downside? Other than a few Microsoft-related grievances, I can’t find much to complain about. Ok, maybe the speakers: Fine for my office but if this were my main source for music listening, investment in higher quality speakers would be in order.

So Glad I Picked This One
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE this computer. I ordered the Microsoft Studio. Found this on Youtube an hour after that and immediately canceled that order so I could get this instead. It's incredible! It has so much more for almost a thousand bucks less. It's only a one inch difference in screen size. If you're caught between the two, get this one. Plus, this one actually has more than a couple ports, lol. The speakers sound amazing. The dial is super handy and the overall design of the base of the computer is immaculate! problems: I have to update the drivers for the speakers often which sucks. Isn't really an issue. Also, palm rejection isn't as on point as I thought it would be with the pen it came with.

A premium aspirant with some rough edges
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this computer has high aspirations for being a high quality graphics and creativity workstation. However, it has some limitations that could annoy you. It's camera is very affected by the quality of your room lighting, and if you are not careful you will look like a Smurf on your zoom calls, the device on the side of the monitor that is supposed to add additional editing or navigation functionality is borderline useless and the fan is very loud when it the computer is in heavy use. If not for the "lockdown" I likely would have returned it for these reasons. However, it is a competent computer for Office tasks and the monitor is terrific. So, overall, it's a fine device, but in normal times not worth the higher price.

Great Device
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return it because I really needed a laptop work but I miss this computer already. I purchased a couple other all in ones that were cheaper but the screen couldn't compare to the lenovo A940 and you will notice it right away. This computer was super fast, at least for what I was using it for. Definitely overkill if you're not into photo/video editing. Can't wait to purchase it again when I have some extra funds to do so.

Great 2in1
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice 2in1. All my kids love it. Screen and it tilt looks and works great. Keyboard is great. Has tons of ports including type c, the wireless charging is great. Comes with it's item pen. Everything to like about this and very little I can think of to criticize. I bought on sale for$2000 plus tax, etc. So nice my ex wife stole it from me and took it to her place, mostly for our kids, which is ok I guess. Wish she would have asked. I like it so much I'm considering buying another one for the kids to have at my place again.

They really put the NO in LeNOvo
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately this Computer is a complete DUD! The first one I got didn't have the pen and dial in the box, so I had to return it and got a second one. I loaded all my software, apps, website shortcuts, etc. I played with it for 3 days doing things and getting used to it and it was functioning and working fine. Then, on day 4 I went to turn it on and it wouldn't. The light on the power button would come on for 4 seconds and then shut off. I tried moving the plug around, changing the plug outlet, nothing worked. I called LeNOvoTech Support and after an hour run-around, they said I needed a new power brick and would send one out. Three days later, I got the new power brick, plugged it in and the same thing...won't turn on. So, I called Best Buy Tech Support, and because of the "Virus" they weren't taking any Geek Squad appointments. So, I had to go back to LeNOvo's Tech Support. Again about another hour or so run-around and they said that I needed to send it to their repair center in Houston...at my cost! After requesting a Supervisor and after about another 30 minutes they finally agreed to send me a shipping label. They received the Computer on May 4th and as of May 14th they still had not done anything to the Computer even though they said I would get it back in 9 days. I made numerous phone calls and on-line chats during the week of May 11th, just trying to get them to ship it back to me so I could return it. Finally, on May 15th, I got a Supervisor that expedited the case and got it shipped out. Now I have to return it without resetting it to factory settings, because I can't turn it on. NO more LeNOvo for me!

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga A940-27 All-In-One system. Resetting the computer back to original factory settings may correct the issue you describe. Since you can not boot the system, ensure that your computer is connected to ac power during the recovery process.
The Windows recovery environment on your computer operates independently from the Windows 10 operating system. It enables you to recover or repair the operating system even if the Windows 10 operating system fails to start.
After two consecutive failed boot attempts, the Windows recovery environment starts automatically. Then, you can choose repair and recovery options by following the on-screen instructions. Here is a link to more Windows 10 Recovery options:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/windows-10-recovery-options. Once you have the system restored, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Nice substitute for the surface studio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great screen and nice features. The fan can get very, very loud during demanding tasks. The fan ran a lot during the set up and updates at first. It is not bad in normal operations.
