    Lg refrigerator second try better than first one

    August 11th first lg refrig delivered but new braided water connection wasnt ordered by salesperson & drivers weren't allowed to use existing plastic tubing. They left refrig unplugged in kitchen & drove away. I plugged it in & pushed it in place without icemaker being installed. Found that doors wouldnt close completely unless pushed the last couple of inches. Contacted geek squad & notified them of issues. 8-11 delivery guys came & installed ice maker & braided hose that hadnt been ordered. Noted with them issues with doors not closing. 8-29 geek squad rep came for door issues & ordered new hinges. 9-17 rep came & installed new hinges but didnt fix issues. Ordered replacement refrig & icemaker. 10-7 new refrig delivered but drivers couldnt remove original icemaker to swap into replacement refrig, had to order new icemaker. 10-20 new icemaker delivered & installed. Working ok so far but best buy ordering & delivery system needs work. The geek squad rep who replaced the hinges was helpful but the delivery drivers were uninformed about what was supposed to be done beyond delivering the refrigerators.

    A Nightmare

    Refrigerator quality very good, ice maker faulty, delivery, setup terrible. Had to return two Refrigerators (delivery damage and installation damage) and one faulty ice maker. One deliver didn't even remove refrigerator plastic/tape or plug it into outlet. One delivery cancelled one block from house because of slippery hill (told dispatcher of better route but delivery was cancelled anyway). The delay resulted in spoiled food and multiple cite prep/furniture movement. Representative promised to have someone call to reimburse us for food loss. No call received.

    The lighting inside the refrigerator is terrible and I dislike a single temperature control for both the frig and freezer. I also resent not getting a stainless front when I was sold a stainless refrigerator. Otherwise, it cools as it should and my husband at least likes the storage. Delivery was awesome

    Refrigerator looks good but I had to replace it twice before getting another more expensive model. The problem was every time you close the fridge door the freezer door pops open. EVERY TIME! Dealbreaker for a brand new unit. No issues keeping everything nice and cold.

    Fridge magnets don't stick to this thing, so Q.E.D. this is not a fridge. It's a shame, because it works pretty well, whatever it is. One thing that will stick to this fridge is fingerprints though. If you or anyone touches the front, it will be hard to clean and you won't have enough motivation to do often it and it'll look gross. I wish I could return it but I had to remove doors & wood panels to get it in my house... it's not worth it to go through that again.

    This was purchased April 2023. Two years and 2 months after purchase, the drip line in refrigerator (not the freezer -that is not hooked up) is leaking on to the top shelf, not running into the drip line that goes to the pan. The warranty is 2 years. If I win the $400 gift card for this review, I guess I'll apply it to a different brand refrigerator.

    I returned this one immediately. No matter how you configure the shelves you cannot get a single bottle to stand up in the freezer. And the fridge shelves are not great height options either.

    Beware the shelves!

    Unfortunately, the shelves on this are very breakable. Both the interior and door shelves on my purchase of just 2 years ago have all broken multiple times, and even with the Total Tech coverage, the replacements are about $100 each. Painful. Other than that, it's okay.

    It's nice box , but it just doesn't keep drinks cold and after having drinks over night to get one next morning within having out and open should be much colder,but it's disappointing to pay the price for a new refrigerator and deal without have a good cold drink I'd very frustrated

    The fridge is nice but the outside dirties so fast, one little touch and the finger print stays. It is hard to keep clean, and horrible to clean. But the inside is nice and cool!

    Too small, horrible Wait time for the WRONG part for the ice maker. We were told that it was the right part it was not. Had to eventually have them pull out the same model that was there to show them it was the wrong part. Still waiting for the correct part over a month later

    Buy a better refrigerator

    It is bare bones. And you can’t buy the accessories for a cheese drawer or extra door rack. And the curve in the freezer door causes us to bump our head a lot! I do not recommend. As far as cooling, I’m never sure if it’s too cold or too warm. I expect that of our old refrigerator -the fluctuation by not a new one. Sigh.

    Refrigerator door opens in wrong direction. Installer said I should have advised Best Buy of that when ordering but there were no questions about the door opening direction so I incorrectly assumed the installer would correct he door opening. Installer advised he did not do that.

    The front of the refrigerator is not stainless steel. Try putting a refrigerator magnet on it. It is difficult to find things in the refrigerator since everything besides the top shelf is below eye level, and is impossible to see.

    whirlpool fridge

    It's a piece of junk, and I knew it when I bought it, but it was an emergency purchase. Freezer door trays are not enclosed, so small or narrow items fall through and trays overall are not "quality" plastic. It's also noisy. Poorly designed. I'm in the process of returning it and have ordered an LG to replace it.
