Best Overall Refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our last refrigerator was a LG and it lasted for years! This refrigerator has been amazing. The door in door is a life saver and so convenient! The round ball ice (craft) has made my husband and guest so happy! The third drawer has made me happy with its flexibility! I can use it for freezer if I need extra space but the best part is using it for platters and drinks for parties! I would recommend this refrigerator to everyone and have!!!

Beautiful and Well-Thought Design
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This refrigerator is quiet, makes great ice cubes and craft ice (spheres!). The outer door is great for those items we use often, but saves money because we're not opening the entire refrigerator door. The full conversion drawer is an amazing feature; we haven't tried using it as a freezer yet, but so far as a deli drawer it has been great. The size was a huge factor for us, as we were limited on hight and width. This cabinet depth refrigerator doesn't stick out as much as our previous fridge, so it looks much better. The black brushed chrome is beautiful and doesn't show finger prints. So far, we have been thrilled with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

The 2nd was better than the 1st.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered the LG 22.5 because of the size, counter depth and all of the bells and whistles. Ordered online and it was delivered 3 days after purchase. Delivery man slightly dented the door while putting it in place. Plugged it in and worked for about 5 hours and then everything shut down. Something about the coolant leaking. All of my food was spoiled. Went into Best Buy the next day to have them resolve the issue. The new fridge could not be delivered for 5 more days. We finally got the 2nd fridge delivered and we love it. So far all systems are go. Love the door in door feature and the craft ice. It's a very nice looking fridge. It's been 5 days and so far so good. Fingers crossed!

Nice Overall, but Pricey for What it is.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is for the LG - 22.5 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator with Door-in-Door and Craft Ice - Black stainless steel (LRMDC2306D). This is my first French Door-type refrigerator, and I’ve been using Nir for only two days now, so I hope that I address what others are looking for in a review. And for the hefty price for this refrigerator, I’ll start with what has left me a bit disappointed (but overall, pleased). First, the control panels (external and inside) do not present the actual temperature of the refrigerator or freezer as my previous GE refrigerator did - only the temps you select. The refrigerator/freezer have a temp sensor, so LG should have included the ability to display the actual temperature for such an expensive device. Second, the two ice makers (in-door and bottom freezer Craft Ice) really do, as someone else stated in their review, feel a bit gimmicky. The Craft Ice “spheres” are produced at only 3 or 6 over a 24-hour period, are very small, and aren’t full spheres (a Craft Ice mold does a better job over a much shorter period of time), and aren’t clear like Craft ice should be (this may be the air that the water department pumps into our supply because there is a filter for the water, on top of the whole house water filters I have). The in-door ice cubes are also very small and gimmicky and the bin capacity is worryingly small (not sure there will be enough at full capacity when I have guests). Third, the adjustable drawer-dividers in the that slide left-and-right in both top and bottom drawers don’t lock in place which allows items stored there to shift as you open/close the drawers. Fourth, the freezer (bottom) drawer, which is split into two levels, is designed so that both levels are pulled out when the drawer is opened and there is no what to adjust it so that the top level can be manually opened/closed when needed. This has the effect of making assess to the lower level/bin more difficult. Fifth, most shelves in the refrigerator doors (separate from the door-indoor shelves) are very shallow - limiting storage to items that are thin and short. This is due to the in-door ice maker/ water dispenser and door-in-door features. Sixth, the control panel button titles (letters) are black (unless selected and illuminated) and virtually impossible to find unless your kitchen overhead lighting is on, and even then a bit difficult to find. Lastly, this device has WiFi and connects to your home network using the ThinQ app - but this also feels gimmicky as there’s very little you can do with the app - only set the temp, set Craft ice to 3 or 6 spheres, toggle on/off the IcePlus feature, see how many times you’ve opened doors, and receive info on filters, etc. With today’s technology, this expensive refrigerator could, at the very least, have included cameras viewable through the ThinQ app to see ice levels and food items (while at the grocery store) and show you the actual temps. Now, what I love about this refrigerator. First, the black, brushed stainless steel is beautiful and gives a much more modern look, yet doesn’t stand-out too much like regular stainless steel does (in my opinion). Second, I love the door-in-door feature, which allows me to store/access enough of the items I frequently use without opening the full door and letting cold air out. Third, the Full-convert drawer (middle compartment) can be set to be used as another freezer or used as a chiller for wine, soda, cheeses, etc. I use it as a chiller for the sparkling water I drink throughout the day, which also limits the number of times I open the refrigerator doors. Fourth, the capacity/configuration of the refrigerator compartment is spacious enough for food for a family of 3-4, and more convenient to access without having to bend over. A medium pizza box fits flat without blocking the doors, and it looks like a large may also fit. The shelving configuration options are a bit limited, requiring a bit of a tilt of taller items when inserting them, but once past the edge of to e shelves, they stand upright with a lot of storage availability. A collapsable half-shelf provides space for approximately 3-4 taller items, such as bottles of wine. Fifth, the LED lighting illumination for the refrigerator and door/door-in-door compartments is very good, giving a more modern feel, and the lights over each of the drawers do a good job at nighttime when you choose not to turn on the kitchen lights. Overall, I’m pleased with this refrigerator, despite the hefty price tag, which I believe is partly influenced by supply chain/inventory issues. That said, I probably would have been just as pleased with a model half the price had one not been on backorder for more than a month (my old refrigerator went out and the estimates to repair it justified the additional expense for a new one). I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars probably because I’m influenced by my excitement over the first time purchasing a new refrigerator, and the newest model of one, and having a French Door model for the first time. I’m ONLY deducting one star for the high price because I think that is influenced more by inventory shortages everywhere.

Beautiful Fridge with a usability caveat
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Striking appliance in my kitchen! More space than prior GE Profile counter-depth fridge, but not as much shelf configurability. Top main shelves can go down one notch, OR bottom shelves up one notch. Having difficult time creating space for standard items, like a salad dressing bottle! Won't fit in main area without above shelf changes, or half shelf slide (which then results in loss of usable shelf surface). Forced to use door shelves for any items of this height or larger, and I'm counting 19 items in my fridge that are in this height category.

Sleek, Spacious, and Seriously Cool!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alrighty, let's wrangle those two reviews together, Texan style: "Howdy, folks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just saddled up with this LG 22.5 Cu. Ft. French Door-in-Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator, and I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park! This stainless steel beauty sure does shine like a Texas star in my kitchen. Now, that Craft Ice feature? It's been a godsend for my sweet iced tea sippin' sessions on the porch. And with the Full-Convert drawer, I reckon I've got space for all my BBQ fixin's and then some. That Door-in-Door adjustable bin? Makes grabbin' my snacks quicker than a jackrabbit on a hot date! Sure, there's a tumbleweed or two of improvement to be had, but I've just begun my journey with this here fridge. So far, it's the talk of the county! Y'all take care and happy chillin'!

Love everything but the interior size
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So let me start with overall, function wise, we love the fridge. The ice makers are solid, the feel is right, the drink door and adjustable middle drawer is awesome!! With all that said, I wish I would’ve realized that I didn’t need the counter depth fridge. Had I realized this, I would’ve bought the larger 29cb ft unit. The one major downfall and reason it lost a star was the interior depth of this 22.5cb ft fridge. You can’t put a 12pack of soda in without opening it. It also won’t fit a large pizza box. If we had a large family, this fridge would not work…. Period.

Best Fridge ever...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....and here’s why. The inside is arranged so that you can open just one door and get to that side’s veggie drawer, most others you have to open both doors. The right side door has an outer door that opens and allows access to that door contents without having to open the main door, so no cold comes out and super handy (creamer, milk, anything). It has two ice makers, one makes craft ice, more than cool it’s super functional. Easy to change water filter. Counter depth option. Oh, and the middle drawer is for - whatever, cheese, sandwich meat, steaks, and can also be easily set to be a freezer drawer, increasing the freezer capacity when needed. What?! But wait, it also has wifi and is a smart machine. On the downside, it won’t make pancakes or do the laundry.

What a dream!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a dream! We were a little leery of a higher priced appliance, but boy, it does NOT disappoint! The space is tremendous and it seems way more spacious than we expected, especially for a counter-depth fridge! I love the drawer that can be used for anything from chilling beverages, to an extra freezer space! So versatile. Plus, it is nice to have different options for water amounts to fill your cup! Love the door in door, which allows access to more frequently used items like creamer and almond milk, and...it has a little “beep” that goes off after the doors are left open for too long! Helpful and attractive!

Worth the money!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is simply the best fridge I have ever owned. The dual drawer is so handy for frequently used items. Pulling open the drawer gives me access to items without warming the fridge unnecessarily. For no earthly reason I love that the fridge tells my phone when certain functions are complete. The 3 types of ice are perfect for cocktails and other drinks. Life is short so buy the top of the line fridge for yourself.

Party Drawer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife LOVES this refrigerator. She calls the middle door "the party drawer" - that's where all the beer goes. As a bonus, it makes craft ice for my whiskey. Good job LG!

New LG Refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice lines on this replacement Refrigerator. My previous LG which was only 7 years and 9 months old died suddenly when the compressor bit the dust. They build these things to last 8-10 years these days. The only disappointment is the ice/water selection must be manually changed each time you want either as opposed to my previous LG where they came out of two different slots. Overall, pretty happy except for the shocking sticker price of almost $4K out the door.

LOVE the Crisper Drawer and Craft Ice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in love with my new refrigerator! It has all the bells and whistles I wanted and came in the compact counter depth size. I use the crisper drawer for bottled water and the easy access drink door in the front for taller drinks, drinks that have to stand up right and drinks with straws in them. And don’t get me started on the ice balls!!! They are sweat. I show them to everyone who comes over. In fact, I am going to make a nice iced tea right now with the ice balls!

Great Buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I LOVE this appliance. The door in door, the dispenser, the middle draw - choose what you want to do with it. I choose countertop size, great as it’s just me and my husband and it does not stick out as much (plus we moved our old fridge outside). Nothing not to like

Cutting Edge Appliance
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never owned a better refrigerator! Space, convenience, looks, cost, features and practicality best describes this refrigerator! My relatives and friends love the round ice cubes and I love the 2 drawers 1 of which is totally adjustable, temperature wise to suit your use. The fore in fore feature is really practical and the technical features make it an ideal appliance!
