Great deal but no speakers, rudimentary stand.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Visually this is good for the price, side by side with a much more expensive monitor (2019 BenQ DesignVu) it's slightly less sharp and more blue/magenta even after trying to calibrate it (windows 11 built in only). Stand is a bummer, can't tilt or raise it and no speakers, but it's a second monitor and could be mounted to something else. Definitely a steal price wise. I just wouldn't use it to work on serious photography. Using it as a second display it's fine enough.

High Quality Budget-Friendly 4K Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a professional video editor that needs multiple monitors to read scripts and work on Adobe applications simultaneously. One of my screens malfunctioned one day and I had a 24-hour period to get a new monitor. I wasn't looking for the fanciest piece of hardware, just something reasonable that would help me out for the next several years. This monitor was on sale during the Black Friday period. Vivid colors, great 4K quality, minimalist design, small border frames around the display, no screen reflection, and very easy set up!

Good budget monitor for 4K
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great monitor that offers 4k for the price. The quality of the screen is great. I connect it to my M2 MacBook Air. When I put the display screen to 4K it looks amazing but it can be hard for some to see since the font and all applications will automatically size down. The ports can feel a bit outdated due to not having USB C. When connecting to the MacBook, for me at least, I don’t have any lag issues or display issues. Keep in mind this display can only do 60Hz. For me, it’s okay because I’m using for work and school but if you’re a gamer enthusiast you might want to get something else. I would recommend to also compare it to LG 27UN850-W.

Overall, this monitor has significantly enhanced my video editing experience. It worth noting it may not be the best option for gamers looking for high hertz numbers. Highly recommended.

Working From Home
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor for my grandson who is working his first job as an architect in New York City. He works remotely 2 days a week and was relying on his laptop screen to support his work. The addition of this fine quality monitor makes a world of difference in easing his ability to work remotely. He reviewed it first to be sure it had all the needed specs. Great Monitor for the price!

A Remarkable Leap: LG 27" IPS LED 4k UHD AMD Frees
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded from my faithful Acer KG Series KG251Q 24.5" to the LG 27" IPS LED 4k UHD AMD Freesync monitor with HDR, and what a game-changer this has been. The transformation in my viewing experience is something akin to trading in a bicycle for a race car. The LG monitor brings a world of difference in terms of display quality, resolution, and overall performance. To start, the leap from 1080p to 4K UHD resolution cannot be understated. The increase in pixel density has resulted in a significantly sharper, cleaner, and crisper image. Every detail, be it while gaming, streaming, or working, is now much more defined and clear. The overall visual richness and depth this LG monitor brings to the table is astonishing and a major upgrade from my previous Acer monitor. The quality of the display itself is another area where this LG monitor shines. Unlike my Acer KG251Q, which employed TN panel technology, the LG 27" uses an IPS panel. This transition to IPS technology has granted me vibrant colors and excellent viewing angles. Gone are the days when color reproduction was heavily dependent on the angle I was viewing the monitor from. Now, whether I am directly in front or off to the side, colors remain consistent and strong. The HDR feature on this monitor also makes a noticeable difference. It brings out the nuances in the darkest and brightest areas of the picture, something my old Acer KG251Q lacked. It provides a broader range of colors and contrast, making everything on screen look more realistic and immersive. The AMD Freesync technology, a commonality between my old and new monitors, continues to provide a tear-free gaming experience, ensuring smooth transitions and motions. However, paired with the LG's 4K resolution and HDR, it takes gaming and multimedia consumption to a whole new level. The LG 27" IPS LED 4k UHD AMD Freesync monitor with HDR, though larger, still maintains a sleek, modern design that doesn't take up much more desk space than my previous 24.5" Acer. It's a perfect blend of functionality and style, complementing any setup. In conclusion, my journey from the Acer KG Series KG251Q to the LG 27" IPS LED 4k UHD AMD Freesync monitor has been nothing short of remarkable. The enhancement in image quality, thanks to the higher resolution and superior display technology, has revolutionized my digital experiences, whether gaming, working, or enjoying multimedia. It's worth every penny and I couldn't recommend this monitor more highly.

Good Entry Level 4k monitor.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for an entry level 4k monitor, this has done me well the last few years. Colors are great, excellent for production. Gaming at 60hz is pretty good too if you dont mind 60hz. The stand itself is not good and sometimes wobbly, but thats the only downside. HDR400 is often considered "fake hdr" but it DOES look good. Pretty good if you can get at the right price.

Good monitor for my Macbook Pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on sale and it fits my needs as a design student working on a Macbook Pro with programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, etc. I think this offers enough screen real estate, especially since you can play around with the resolution if your computer allows it. No speakers, but I plugged in my Bose ones and it sounds great, probably even better than when they're plugged in directly to my Macbook. Wish the stand was smaller since it takes up all the space on my Ikea stand. Some people complain about the material of the stand itself, but I don't have an issue of it; I like the textured grey look. There's only one button which acts like a joystick to move around the options which might be a little confusing at first. Overall, a good purchase if you're not looking for the biggest, latest, and greatest studio-type monitor. If you have a Mac and want a medium-sized external monitor that can match the resolution of a MacBook-screen, you're a student, or someone who just wants a good quality mid-range monitor in 4k, I recommend this to you.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing picture and color quality for the price. The refresh rate is only 60hz, so if you’re used to something higher it might hurt your eyes a little, but you’ll get used to it.

Surprising Quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor was my second choice after having an incredible disappointment with a BenQ monitor, however, now I think it should always have been my first choice, IPS technology is fantastic, the colors are faithful without calibrating the screen, but if you want more color fidelity with a simple calibration to the color profile it was done. I do photo and video editing, the response is fast and constant, the only thing you would need to be the perfect monitor is a little more brightness in conditions with a lot of light, but definitely the quality and price ratio are fantastic, I recommend it 100%

Purchase this monitor!!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I initially saw the price I assumed it had to be a lower tier monitor and after inspecting the specs I once again thought it had to be a mistake but it wasn’t and I did not hesitate. Best monitor I have purchased and had no troubles and it has been half a year. The monitor looks great and is super light and all the ports are in optimal spots.
