I absolutely love that the shelfs can be moved around to fit our needs and there are a tone of storage options in the freezer that maximizes the storage room. The energy saving options can be turned off so you can speed up ice production and you can change the temp. of the fridge and freezer. It is extremely quite and I never hear the ice maker! There are a couple little things that we have found as a down fall. The front is not magnetized and when you open the fridge door the ice and water feature turn off.

This is a great fridge. Its by far the most we've ever paid for one, but it has been well worth it. The Best Buy salesman pointed out that the 25cu ft and 30.7 ft have essentially the same outer dimensions. We coughed up a few hundred extra dollars without needing any additional room between the cabinets. The extra room has been great for our growing family. We really like the multiple storage drawers both in the refrigerator and freezer sections. It really helps keep things organized, and we don't lose/forget food in the freezer any more. LG's design for the water and ice maker is brilliant. The water dispenser is separate, and is contained outside of the indentation for the ice maker. This allows you to fill any size water bottle or even a pitcher. Although, the indented section for the ice maker is larger than most. All of our water bottles fit under the ice dispenser without having to angle them. As a result, we don't have ice pieces all over the floor like most other models. We have brand new GE's at work that make a mess. The temperature seems very consistent throughout. Our old fridge would freeze items that were way in the back. I saw a lot of reivews that complain about the ice maker clogging up. That has only happened to us once in three months. Even so, it was really easy to break up the pieces again (about 20 seconds). BTW it makes ice cubes that look like miniatures of the old fashioned ice "cube" trays. These are much better than the half moon ones that seem to clog between your lips when you are trying to drink. Many reviews complained about the rate of making ice cubes. It keeps up with our family of five. It doesn't keep up with parties, but you just need to plan ahead and either buy a bag our make cubes for a day or two in advance. Its a trade off. We feel the few times the ice cubes ran out during parties is offset by the additional space gained because the maker only takes up minimal space on the door. One last item, the fridge is very quiet. We barely can hear it run. Same for our new LG dishwasher. I would have a hard time paying retail price for this fridge, but at just over 2,000, we feel it was well worth it.

Loved the refrigerator. Very spacious and can easily fit everything possible inside. Looks nice inside and out. Only problem was after having it for approximately 5/6 years, the ice maker stopped working, the freezer no longer kept our food frozen, and it constantly made a very loud buzzing noise.

Overall this is a fantastic refrigerator. I did a lot of research prior to buying a new refrigerator to replace our old side-by-side Whirlpool which only had 24 cubic ft. of space. I really liked the look of the french doors and felt that we definitely could use the wider space that french door offered vs. the side-by-side. Plus, I am not keen on the classic top freezer/bottom refrigerator combos either. At the time of purchase, Best Buy had a sale on it so I decided to go into the store to compare this particular model with another one that I had liked that was more expensive. After seeing the two, my wife and I decided that this was better than the other one we looked at. The other model was another LG with a door access on the right door which we felt we didn't need (although the concept seemed cool). One of my main concerns is that this refrigerator would jut out way past the current one we had but after some measurements, we felt that we were ok with the extra space it took up. We purchased this plus an additional stainless steel water hose connector to supply our water and ice dispenser. Apparently LG does not provide a plastic one like other brands according to our sales person. He said we could return it in store if upon delivery, they ended up having a plastic one that came with it. In the end, it didn't come with one so we used the stainless steel one instead which is fine although it's pricey at $30. The delivery was super easy and the delivery guys came a little early and even helped us move our old refrigerator out into the garage for additional storage for us. I read the quick set-up guide and made the settings on the refrigerator that I wanted and was set to go. Things did take a while to cool down but once it did, it has been working fine. So far it's been about 2-months since we got it and I am still very happy with our purchase. One thing I did notice with this refrigerator is that if the compressor is running, it'll stop when a door is opened and remain stopped for about 10 seconds before restarting after you close the door. I don't know if I noticed this with my old refrigerator but it seems to turn on almost immediately after a door is closed to get back to the set temperature. In terms of storage, this refrigerator is large. We have plenty of space and I would have to say it does keep produce and fruits fresh much longer than our old refrigerator. In terms of the water dispenser and ice dispenser, we haven't had any issues with the amount of ice that it makes. We are a family of 5 but none of us use too much ice to begin with. I guess for large parties there may be a concern, but there's and extra ice bin you can use to store extra ice if needed. One last thing is that Best Buy was able to match their own price on this particular model when it went on sale even more during Labor Day weekend. Original sale was $300 off the list price and the second sale was $450 off the last sale price. Luckily I am an Elite-Plus Member and was able to qualify for this since it was past the 14 days they usually have for Non-Elite members. We have 60 days to find a cheaper price! Overall, I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking for a spacious refrigerator that looks beautiful.

This by far the best frig I have invested in. The size is huge! The six shelves,,three veggie bins and then one big sliding shelf. Not even talking about the storage in the doors. Do not even get me talking about the freezer. The two pull out full shelves along with the hug bin at the bottom that you can make one or two bins. I love the little shelf that LG put in the door it is great for the rolls of hamburger or juices...love you LG!

I a so pleased with our purchase, the delivery men who picked up the old and brought in this were professional, on time and showed care from start to finish, the fridge it's amazing. I looked at several other brands before deciding, the size, lighting, space, design, ice is perfect size and it makes it fast, the drawers slid with ease, door panel is informative with temperature and you can fill a water pitcher easity due to design. I recommend above all other brands.

Let's start with what's great about it because I do love this fridge: Lots of room in the fridge!! I'm loving the spacious area and Clear everything so that you can look all over and not miss any food! (I used to overlook many items that went bad in the old fridge because the shelves were just too deep and not wide enough.) I do like the different areas for different items to try to keep things neat. I'm in love with the small shelves behind the icemaker and all the other MOVEABLE monstrous-sized shelves on inside of the right door. I really, really love the sliding flat shelf in the freezer section because I need to freeze many items in a single layer on a flat cookie sheet and this provides that space (could be used for pizza, too). I also love how easily the freezer door and shelves in the freezer slide out! I am enjoying many features, but those are the best that I could think of. Now, on to what I think could use improvement: It loses cold air FAST when doors are opened for a short period of time unless you only open one door at a time for a very short period of time. I think the long shelf at the bottom of the fridge is nice, but it should have it's own long, skinny door on the outside just underneath the double-doors to slide open instead of having to open both fridge doors to slide that long drawer out because it loses a lot of cool air while having to have both doors open while you adjust the items in that long drawer. The water spout placement is odd (it's not in the same placement as the ice maker drop, it's above it and sticking out of the top). You cannot fill a thicker-walled cup/mug because the spout doesn't stick out far enough (or you have to push the lever with your hand and guess the placement of the thicker walled cup to catch the water coming out a little lower in the stream. Plus, every time we get water, we can't do it quickly or you get water dripping all over - you have to give it a few seconds after you stop pushing the lever before the water stops coming out and you pull your cup away. The stainless steel lever you push for filling up a cup scratched very easily. My husband and I also think it has a small drip tray (doesn't catch much) and it's just odd when we're filling a cup and ice or water overspills, which shouldn't be happening much anyway. :) I don't know why yet, but even without opening the freezer door much, there are tiny ice crystals all over everything in there as if it lost temperature and then re-froze everything... it could be part of the auto defrost so that frost doesn't build up in the freezer, but if you have anything in the freezer section that doesn't have all air pockets removed, it gets frost built up on your food!!! I couldn't possibly use the food saver to get all the air out of everything in the freezer, so I'll have to look into this matter. I'm doing this review only about a week into owning it and filling it up with groceries for the first time; but I think we can get used to everything about the refrigerator... it could just use tweaks and improvements to flow better and save more cool air energy. We do like it very much so, and appreciate how much thought has already gone into its design. I shopped for months looking at a whole lot of refrigerators and I settled on this one because I liked it the best for the cooking that I do! Hopefully that review helps someone else have an idea of what they're looking into and could help them make a better decision; but like I said... I still think this has the best features of all the ones I saw available at this time for the space, the price, and features available. Opinions change slightly after having a bit of time to practice using it the way you would like. :-)

We have had this unit for only a couple of months, but so far it has been trouble free. The interior space is huge and the temperature control has been very consistent. Ice and water dispensers work well. While one can hear the unit running, I do not consider it loud or objectionable. We do drink a lot of ice water throughout the day and as with many of this type of French door refrigerators, the icemaker struggles to keep up and we do occasionally run out of ice. I would give it a 5 of 5 rating except for the icemaker limitations.

Lots of room. We love all the space in the doors to put salad dressings and condiments. Only drawback is small amount of space in ice maker. If you will need a lot of ice you need to plan in advance and empty ice intto extra storage bin that comes with this fridge. We like the water dispenser which allows you to use tall bottle.

This LG refrigerator is really a great product. It's roomy and well lighted, making it easy to find what you're looking for. One small issue with the ice maker, the ice bin sometime disengages with the dispenser motor. Don't know if this is a design flaw or something actually wrong. Either way I have decided to call for service to come take a look.

Someone who uses a refrigerator designed this one! Both the refrigerator and freezer are exceptionally well illuminated with no dark spots. The flexible configuration of the refrigerator meets all my storage needs. I'm short, but by putting bins on the top shelf I can access all my items. The flexible temperature drawer gives me a choice in what foods are stored there, depending on my needs. The three drawers in the freezer allow organized storage that keep foods at your fingertips without things getting lost at the bottom. The placement of the cold water tap is great because I can fill large containers directly. While the ice maker is a bit slow, it is adequate for normal daily use. This appliance is a winner!

Have only had the fridge for a month now, so can't report on durability yet. But, from reading reviews I was concerned about long-term durability and quality issues. So, I opted (as I NEVER do), to buy BestBuy's GeekSquad protection that allows me to get either a new fridge or a diff. fridge if they have to come out 3 times plus I got enough Reward Zone (RZ) points with this purchase to push me to RZ Silver level, which gives me a 60-day return option vs. the normal 30-day return guarantee. Got a great deal on the fridge and did a price match with Fry's who had it for $50 cheaper so adding that to the RZ points helped cover the cost of the extra GeekSquad protection which ultimately gave me the peace of mind I needed to feel good about purchasing this unit. I also recommend that instead of having them haul the old fridge off, sell it on Craig's List (it's free!) to offset your extra cost on this one. We gave ours away to a needy family. We love this fridge: it's way better than either side-by-side or top-freezer models 'cause - especially with the LED lighting on this thing, you can see everything easily! I expect us to save $$ because we can see items that might've expired in our old fridge. The extra drawer in the freezer allows for better organization down there as well. Didn't see any other models with this same feature. Most have one drawer, plus the bottom/lower area that is fairly deep and things can get buried within. Ice Maker: this fridge comes with an extra ice bin for the lower freezer. We filled it up and haven't had the first complaint about running out of ice. On the rare occasion when we need more ice than the fairly small reservoir on the door holds, we dip into the bin in the freezer. No problem. I love that the fridge area isn't encumbered by the ice maker that occupies a good portion of the left side of most French Door model fridges. One more thing: this unit weights about 350 lbs. and to get it into our house the BB delivery team had to remove the front doors of both the fridge and our house, remove the handrail on our stairway, and muscle the beast up to our kitchen. I can't say enough about how professionally they handled this task without a single ding to our walls or floors. They also hooked up the ice maker and cleaned up so it looked as if nothing had happened in our house except that a different refrigerator now stood where the old one had been an hour before. They were awesome - over the top. I hope you get a similar crew to do your delivery and install! VERY, very happy with that team! I'll check back if we encounter problems with this unit but at this point we've experienced absolutely no problems whatsoever and are pleased with our purchase.

Bought this to replace a 16 cubic foot fridge. The old fridge had freezer on top. Had to almost sit on the floor to find things and get them out. So we went BIG. Love it. Easy to open the fridge and look in and get to what I want. It's bright inside. It's quiet. It makes a decent amount of ice. So far, no real complaints.

We shopped everywhere and researched pricing. This refrigerator is the best price for the most amount of features and largest capacity. We absolutely love it! The best part is the two inner drawers in the large freezer. Now I can put the pizzas and boxes on one drawer, the vegetable bags on one drawer and can still find the ice cream without having to move everything around. This is the best refrigerator for the money! Oh and their sales people were smart, helpful, considerate and cared!!! Hard to find in this world without being pushy :)

We love this refrigerator. The ability to slide and move shelving and adjust storage in doors and freezer as well allows us to store almost anything from a large sheet cake for a birthday party to a watermelon or multiple jugs of juice and milk. We replaced our GE Profile side-by-side with this and it feels like we've double the storage, especially in the freezer area, The ice maker and in door storage and dispenser is not the greatest. It has a fairly small capacity and ice often freezes in chunks. No big problem as they provide a large ice storage bin in which you can store enough to use in a small ice chest.
