The Ultimate TV: My Research Paid Off!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG Has Mastered the Art of the All-in-One TV. This TV is truly in a class of its own and an incredible value. I've had it for over six months now and haven't had a single issue. The size is a huge upgrade from my previous desk TV, and it's definitely been worth it. It's a fantastic all-in-one TV for both work and play, with so many features packed into one device. When I'm gaming on my Xbox, the quality is absolutely fantastic. This TV is so good that I'm already planning to upgrade the rest of the TVs in my house to this standard. LG really holds its value over time, which is a big deal. I did my research for hours before landing on this one, and I'm so glad I did. I even bought one as a birthday gift for a friend, and it's been a game-changer for movie nights at their place. My favorite feature is the ability to turn off the screen while music plays. If you have a music subscription, you can just use the built-in microphone to ask the TV to continue playing your music with the screen off. The Magic Remote is another standout feature. When you shake the controller, a cursor appears on the screen, allowing you to easily point and click on apps instead of having to scroll through a long list. It's a huge time-saver. The TV comes with all the standard smart TV features you'd expect, like major streaming apps and a store where you can download more, including games. It even automatically recognizes when a console or computer is plugged in. For work, it's super easy to connect to. Just grab the remote and select the device you want to put on the screen either by pressing the input button or on screen import button to change the source. The sound is also incredible. I read a review that almost turned me away because the person said it wasn't loud enough. I have the volume set to 10 out of 100, and it's more than loud enough for the entire room. If you want to blast some music, you can turn it up to 100, and it's so powerful you won't even need a separate speaker. You can also play around with the sound settings to get it just right. The picture quality is equally amazing. The OLED display has crisp picture quality and can be adjusted to be brighter or darker. In the photo I provided, you can see a picture of a Cavetown album playing on the darkest setting. Even with direct sunlight coming in from an open window, the glare is barely noticeable and for example not even noticeable when the brightness is turned up which is provide it in the second photo. The HDMI 2.1 ports and 120Hz refresh rate are a huge plus for gaming and movies. Another great feature is the built-in Wi-Fi, which allows you to wirelessly cast your phone's screen with either Apple Cast or Google Cast. I love using this to show friends and family photos I've taken on a much larger screen. You can also connect any Bluetooth headphones or speakers directly to the TV. This is perfect for those times when you want to watch a movie and feel like you're in a theater or watch something early in the morning without disturbing anyone. Finally, you can also get local news channels for free with other TV stations for free as well as long as you have internet. The remote also has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, LG Channels, Sling TV, and Alexa, making it even easier to get to your favorite apps. This TV is going to last me for years to come. A huge shoutout to LG for making such an incredible TV and to Best Buy for their excellent shipping and handling. They were kind and efficient, and the entire process was seamless. I highly recommend taking advantage of any Black Friday deals for this TV. If you're lost and don't know what TV to get, this is the one. You won't regret it. P.S. if you found this helpful please give it a thumbs up so others can see the comment as well.

Great HDR 4k Gaming TV
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.+ Great HDR Min and Max for this price range + G-Sync compatible + 120Hz for Gaming +Deep Blacks and Rich Colors, really showing off the OLED. + No noticeable burn in since being in heavy use from Feb 17, 2025 Currently, I don't have any negatives to report. Quality is great and the burn in worry doesn't seem relevant here as it has many features to keep this from happening. The colors are rich and the black levels are amazing for this price range. I've been gaming since I received it and have been having a great time enjoying the quality of image it provides. I recommend this TV for Gaming or a small bedroom for watching movies.

Its decent
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG OLED B4 series is an impressive TV for its price, offering fantastic picture quality and a few standout features, though it’s not without its drawbacks. Picture Quality The TV's OLED panel shines with exceptionally bright HDR performance and incredibly deep blacks, creating a level of contrast that surpasses standard 4K TVs and even slightly edges out QLED technology. Whether watching movies, gaming, or streaming, the visual experience is immersive and vibrant. Build and Design The build quality is solid, albeit slightly heavy. However, this heft translates to durability and a sense of sturdiness. Mounted on the wall with bias lighting, the TV looks stunning and adds a premium touch to any room. Installation is straightforward, and the design feels more robust compared to many competitors. I use mine in a 12x12 room, where it fits perfectly. Additionally, I’ve noticed very little glare, even in bright daytime conditions, making it suitable for a variety of lighting setups. Performance and Gaming While the resolution and refresh rate are impressive on paper, the gaming features fall short in practice. Game Mode and AMD FreeSync didn’t work properly with my AMD RX 6800M GPU, causing the screen to flicker black or shut off entirely. As a result, gaming performance can be hit-or-miss. That said, the TV can function as a decent monitor when it works. I’ve had enjoyable gaming sessions, but the refresh rate never feels quite right, regardless of adjustments. Turning off TruMotion improves performance significantly. Smart Features The TV offers a wide range of apps and integrates seamlessly with Alexa. However, the AI features are underwhelming—I’ve noticed minimal benefits beyond slight sound optimization. Sound Quality One of the standout aspects is the built-in speakers. The sound quality is exceptional, delivering loud and clear audio that eliminates the need for an external sound system. It’s rare to find a TV with speakers this good. The Magic Remote The Magic Remote is functional but frustrating. The cursor behaves inconsistently—if you point the remote away from the screen, it gets stuck on the edge and moves prematurely when you bring it back. For comparison, a Wii Remote re-centers seamlessly, making the LG remote feel clunky and counterintuitive. Customer Service Perhaps the biggest downside is LG’s customer service, which is a nightmare to deal with. They make you jump through hoops to prove the TV has a malfunction before approving warranty service. You’re required to take photos and videos to document the issue, but the pictures often fail to send via text, requiring multiple attempts. Afterward, they may demand a video, but since you can’t record while on a call, they frequently deny warranty claims. This creates a frustrating and time-consuming process that undermines an otherwise excellent product. Despite the TV's strengths, purchasing it comes with the risk of poor support if anything goes wrong. Final Thoughts The LG OLED B4 series offers stunning picture quality, robust sound, and a beautiful design that fits well in most spaces. However, gaming performance can be inconsistent, and the customer service experience leaves much to be desired. While it’s a good TV overall, buyers should weigh the risks of potential support challenges.

Amazing value for Gaming Monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big gaming monitors are expensive. If you need high refresh rates and large real estate for your FPS games, you may need to spend more money. But for those of us that enjoy RPGs, Sims, and the occasional action game, this was a real no brainer! I've had my eye on LGs OLED televisions for quite a while. I've had this particular one in my cart since it was released. I am very happy I finally purchased. The colors are vibrant and very accurate. The text is always readable. Videos, of course, are gorgeous. I've used TVs before, but this one is the most "monitor like" yet. The size is truly acceptable, and I don't miss my dual 32" curved MSI screens at all. Now, there are some setup issues. We all want the 120hz goodness when playing video games. To do this, I had to enable Dolby Vision. I also loaded an LG OLED profile on my PC, which causes screen timeout fairly quickly if you aren't actively interacting with the screen. There are some acceptable cons. Since I am using this as a monitor, there is a dedicated Hisense TV in the room. The remotes send the same codes and interfere with each other. More care is required when operating either screen with the remote. Dolby Vision can be glitchy with my 4070 card after an extended sleep. It's better to shut down the PC if you aren't going to use it for a couple hours. TBH, I should do this more often as it saves energy. I used a 32" HD monitor mounted vertically for Discord and browser info. If you have a 27" HD, it would probably fit better. I also like the fact that I actually gained usable desk space. Those of you with curved screens know the pain. Best value monitor of 2025. Maybe not the FPS shooter monster, but for all other games, A++++ Do not let the size intimidate you!

Don't sit on this tv!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful OLED TV. Responsive interface, love the magic remote and glad LG has been sticking with it. Deep colors and brightness is very good (ignore the ppl saying this tv does not have good brightness) Paired with my PS5 pro it's a amazing gaming experience and movies look fantastic. No reason to pay more for the c series (which in some instances the B4 is actually better then the c series for gaming better colors) and def not reason to upgrade to the new g series. I've seen these all in stores and the differences are minimal! No lag lots of options. Vrr, hdr, 120hrtz, 4 2.1 HDMI inputs, 2 USB, and digital optical out! For $550 to $600 this a amazing tv and tbh shines just as good as the newer models! Also the sound is actually really good especially when you turn on ai sound mode! Wow!! Huge difference! Sound bar will always be better but it's not bad at all if you want to save some money right now and not get a soundbar. Must buy and the 48" is perfect for sitting about 5-6ft away!

Best OLED TV deal - Stop scrolling and click buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been researching OLED TV's for the past few months, and ended up purchasing the LG B4 OLED 83" model on Black Friday. Amazing TV!! So when I saw this 48" LG B4 OLED model go on sale for $599 I decided to purchase two, to upgrade a couple of 5 year old Samsung TV's in my bedrooms. The picture quality is superb. Has Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, and 4 HDMI ports - perfect for gaming. The TV sound is adequate, but I usually attach a sound bar for more bass and depth. I was worried about the Operating System after seeing mixed reviews, but the Smart WebOS system is intuitive and easy to navigate, although a little ad-heavy for my liking. All in all, the value can't be beat. No better TV at this price point. Super happy with my recent purchases. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality TV that won't break the bank

Amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After several months of reading print and online reviews, and many, Many YouTube reviews, I finally decided that this particular make, size, and model was the one for me. During this time, I also kept checking for a good sale price. I knew I wanted this 48" for the bedroom, and Best Buy is the only retailer to carry it. I eventually got an "Open Box" in excellent condition for just under $500. I could not be happier with this purchase. Before this TV I've been using a 32" Sony Bravia KDL-32EX400 LED. It still looks great, and I'm very happy with it, but it's 15 years old, not, obviously, a Smart TV, and I wanted something so I could fully appreciate the streaming sites that offer 4K, the look of games on my PS5, and also my new 4K discs. I was not prepared for the night-and-day difference between LED and OLED. I'm still getting accustomed to it. Using Filmmaker Mode, as suggested, movies look extremely sharp, and it's as if people are in my room performing a play. It's actually freaking me out a bit, lol. The other great thing is that everything looks better. Blu-ray and even standard DVDs get upscaled. While the sound isn't really bad coming through the TV's speakers (certainly not as bad as many reviews I've read or watched), I would definitely suggest using a good soundbar system. I have a 5.1.2 system, and between that and the clarity of display on this television, it's really a nearly-in-theater experience. Setup is very easy right out of the box. Connect it to your internet, follow some prompts, and you're ready to go. I still play around with some settings now and then, just to see differences in images and sound. I'm planning to watch a couple more YouTube videos to really find out the best settings, and to get tips on pushing this to its limits. This has its own operating system, so I've stopped using my Roku box. While it comes pre-loaded with apps, you'll probably need to use their app store to get any streaming services not immediately accessible. I can say, though, that even that doesn't give you all that are available. I have a subscription to Shudder (all horror), and it's not avaliable in their app store. I can, however use the internet search, and then open Shudder that way. It's a small inconvenience, but my only other option is hooking up the Roku for one app. Let's see, what else...? Oh! The "Magic Remote!" It's pretty much like most others, with dedicated buttons to open Netflix, Prime, etc., but you can, instead of hitting directional buttons (left, right, up, down), you can use it as a cursor to point at what you want. It helps me when it comes to entering user names and passwords when opening your streaming apps. Overall, I say that this LG B4 OLED is an amazing television at what most reviews say is an "entry level" TV. While you *could* pay a few hundred dollars more for their next level up, I can't justify it. Most reviewers will tell you the difference is minimal. Also, I'm pretty sure the B4 is the only model with 4 HDMI ports, which you'll need if you have a game system, a Roku/Fire Stick, or whatever, and speakers, depending on what type of setup you'll be using. Well, I guess that's it for now. I'll certainly update with any new findings or complaints. Feel free to ask if you have questions, and I suggest putting LG B4 OLED in the YouTube search bar for lots of reviews.

Its self-lit OLED pixels produce perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and vibrant, true-to-life colors that make movies, sports, and games look cinematic. Amazing OLED TV!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG B4 OLED is stunning with amazing visuals. The deep blacks are great, bright and dark scenes are good, and gaming on here is awesome. I love that all 4 inputs are HDMI 2.1 120 HZ. Pixels are fantastic, and the brightness is spectacular. Finally i got this on sale at $550. There is not much difference between B4 and C4 besides better color/contrast, the price, and the processor. Other than that, basically the same specs with not much tweaks. So you won't be missing out on a lot unless you care and want to spend a few extra hundred bucks. For the budget price for this B4, I would get this.

Amazing all around entry level OLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is an incredible deal. It has an OLED display which in short means incredible colors and deep blacks. It also has great features for gamers such as VRR, 120HZ support and auto low latency mode to minimize lag while playing. If you are looking for an amazing TV to play games on, watch movies/stream, you can't go wrong. No, the picture does not get as bright as more premium OLEDs, but it is a great TV at this price. This is an entry level model punches well above its weight and the size is perfect for a bedroom TV.

Excellent TV for the Money
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Last TV I purchased was a 1080P Vizio in 2011 but I recently picked up a Samsung G6 OLED and experience the colors for the first time. It was such a great experience I decided to move that Vizio in the play room and purchase a new TV for the living room. This thing does not disappoint and also works well with the new consoles at a fraction of the cost of the C4 or C series in general. I'm not a big TV guy but when family comes over they've frequently commented on the colors, especially when football is on because they are vibrant while also not bleeding out which is what makes the OLED tech so interesting.

YES, LOVE LOVE LOVE this LG TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, finally a great TV. We had 3 others within the last 3 years. Two Samsungs and one Toshiba. Worst TVS I’ve ever had. Programming is so unnecessarily complicated, setup instructions are hard to read, and understand and had to use my reading glasses and or a magnifier. I lost money on one of the 3, as I had gotten really sick and couldn’t deal with the return on time. I ended up donating it to a local charity/shelter. This beautiful LG tv, is the best tv we’ve had for flat screens. Picture is awesome. Sound is awesome. Ease of instruction and programming. Not that heavy.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No issues here picture looks great the price was good the remote works great you get free LG channels the only thing that scares me about OLED televisions is they are fragile... just don't hit the screen this is my second one the first one was a beautiful 65 inch- OLED my daughter threw something at it at some point when I wasn't home and it left very small small mark on the panel which destroyed the entire TV so be careful I recommend highly good TVs

Perfect bedroom tv!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a 2010 42” LG TV in my bedroom. I wanted a larger size and had been considering a 55”, but couldn’t find something to fit the quality I was looking for on my sub $800 budget. Purchased this below that price point on-sale. This doesn’t have the brightness of the higher models, but that’s not necessary for my usage where it’s typically morning or night. Plus I can control the light if I’m having a lazy day. I have a 2 year old budget LG in my office. Web OS is a much better experience on the B4, I have to admit I almost didn’t purchase this due to my experience with that underpowered processor. There was some initial slowness in Web OS when I first got the TV, which is probably due to it updating apps and software in the background. Over the next month I have not experienced that with the B4. Mine is in a corner of a 13.5’ x 12.5 bedroom. Audio from the tv speakers is decent, but I’m glad to have a Denon soundbar as I wouldn’t be happy with only the tv audio. This is my first OLED TV and the colors/ blacks are simply gorgeous. I ended up rewatching several episodes of Foundation on Apple TV, which looked phenomenal. The 65” Samsung Frame in my den doesn’t have the same punch in comparison! I’m very happy with this purchase. For my application the model and size is absolutely perfect.
