We just purchased this washer. It is so much better than the Maytag washer that we bought four years ago. It is very quiet, easy to use, and our clothes are much cleaner! Our daughter just came for the week, and recently bought the gas LG washer. She fell in love with this one, and is going to talk with her husband about changing it out for one just like this one. She said that the one they just purchased has more functions than she needs. We look forward to many years of useage of this LG 5.0 washer!

It took a few days to get use to the LG 5-0 top load washer without agitator using less water spinning at a much higher rate. We have had the washer for 3 weeks now and no longer notice the extra noise from the higher spinning speed. The clothes seem to be cleaner and not as beat up unlike our old washer with agitator. We paired this washer with the LG Dryer. i love the pairing because I am now able to wash loads twice the size of my old washer thus cutting time spent doing laundry. The only negative I have is that once the washer starts the lid locks and I can no longer rinse the detergent cup without going to the sink but that is not anything negative towards the functioning of the washer.

Great washer, but a little too deep. We love the damped lid; it closes slowly on it's own. It's very quiet and it plays a little jingle when the wash cycle has completed. Very easy to understand operating procedures. Make sure to read the manual before your first load of wash.

This washer is a good size and has the capacity to do large loads with no problem. It’s easy to use as well. Nothing too complex.

This is a quiet machine with ample room to handle king sized comforters. It’s an excellent value for the features. too. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Love my new washing machine! It’s easy to use. The machine adjusts for each load size and is so much faster and more efficient than my previous washer!

I have had this washer for over a month now and so far I really like it! Has a lot of capacity. I have not had issues with water levels which seemed to come up in a lot of other washing machine’s reviews while I was picking out my washer. The different cycles are really convenient. It is not noisy by any means and it plays cute little melodies when turning on and off and when the cycle has finished. Overall I would recommend this washer! It was a great price too. Really cannot go wrong with this item!

My Kenmore washer and dryer kicked the bucket so was in the market for new combo. A Memorial Day sale hit, so went in looking for something good and reliable for another 10+ years. I had good experience so far with my almost 10 year old LG refrigerator, so looked at the Top Loader and Dryer options. This particular Top Loader with 6Motion Technology caught my eye and along with the matching dryer was marked off a good $600-$700 off for the holidays. Added the install, hose and vent parts, and haul away, and the installers had me up and running in less than an hour. A handful of washes and dries and so far so good! Clothes smell great and clean and the LG's are much more quiet than my old appliances. One happy customer!!

After having gone through numerous washers with a certain name brand my wife and I decided to go with a different one this time. Sales Associate Nate walked us through some various options and recommendations an we decided to go with this one from LG. Although the modern tech mechanics looked a little intimidating it turns out it was quite easily understood. The added volume of the washer capacity compared to what we had used before was welcome as we have 4 dogs so a few doggie beds need to get thrown in frequently. A few of the features of this washer are welcome such as a countdown timer (no more guessing when the washer will be done), touch control and even a glass cover to see what's going on inside the drum. There are more options to use but we haven't gotten around to them yet. All washed loads done since we got this have turned out great. All in all we're more than happy with this purchase and may consider the LG brand in future products. Added bonus for us was this was on sale.

We replaced a samsung washer with this one and it has been wonderful. We bought open box and the giy determined their was an issue with the first one and got another one right away and i have been loving laundry ever since. Its quiet, gets clothes clean and what more can you ask for? Just do it.

Compared the GE washer this is easier to reach down into the bottom of the basket to reach for washed items. Where as the other, it was difficult to reach down at the bottom without falling over (granted, I am 5’,3”). The washer is very quite and you can barely hear it. The timer says it will take an hour and such but however, it recalculates based upon the weight. Most of the time, it will finish in half the time it says originally. We are glad we invested in this model because it does not have pulley’s and it has not lost balanced causing it to shake. And, I love the detergent dispenser. Saves more on money and uses it efficiently. All of the clothes (though it seems very little detergent) will smell like the detergent. Not too much, not too little. Might be the best washer on the market!

I am very excited and happy with my new LG washing machine! It’s extremely quiet. Huge tub and cleans perfectly!

I’ve used top-loader washing machines my whole life, so when it came time to buy a new washer and dryer with my boyfriend, I knew I wanted a top loader. We picked this one, as the price was reasonable and the machine felt sturdy. I’ve done a couple of loads of laundry in it now, and it cleans my clothes well and I like the digital timer that tells me how much time is left in the cycle. However, it is pretty loud when it’s running. We have our laundry room on the second floor of our house, right next our bedroom. Given how loud it is, we likely won’t be doing laundry right before bed. Other than the noise, I’m satisfied with the machine.

I have been using this for about a month. I like the ease of use, not too many buttons, but enough settings for my needs. Useful Tip: The Best Buy employee showed me how to load it properly, you can’t just dump your clothes in! Pretend there is a cone-type agitator (like the old school top loaders) and load clothes like a donut, leaving the center area clear. I made a tutorial for my family, see photo below!

Although this washer is more basic I do love the ease of use. No extra frills required. The large 5.0 cuft capacity is wonderful. My only complaint is the plastic ring for the impeller versus the metal ones in the nicer but for the price point I’ll make the sacrifice!!!

I love this washer! It is very easy to use, capacity is more than i thought it would hold and still items come out so clean! Has many options for washing different materials and i couldnt be more pleased a year after owning this washer!!! Its a must buy! I also love the chime song it plays when the wash is finished.

So far, it’s great! It cleans well and is quiet and efficient. I switched from a competitive product and am very satisfied.

Love the very large capacity and already washed a bulky queen size comforter with ease. The dial feature and the touch option selections to customize the cycles are great and simple.

I waited 8 months to make this review. I love this washer. It holds a lot. It has a great quick wash setting that washes just as well as the extended wash setting. I love the transparent lid. I would definitely purchase again. Zero problems so far!
