    Washer has been washing fine over last two weeks of using it, I’ve had unbalance errors twice while washing small area rugs and have needed to reposition contents inside. My main concern is when it changes cycles, ie from wash to rinse or rinse to spin, I hear a loud clicking clacking metal sound, like it’s missing a damper or insulator or something is loose under the tub when it changes gears. Though I’ve gotten used to it over the last couple of weeks, it is still annoying. Not sure if this sound is normal but my previous whirlpool washers never made such a metal clanking sound. Would like to know if other owners of this LG model hear similar metal clanking sounds while their machines operate.

    I'm comparing my new LG washer to my old GE washer. The installers did a very nice job. No complaints. The capacity was about the same for the two machines, and the cleaning abilities are similar. My GE washer was much quieter. The LG makes an assortment of obnoxious sounds including, high pitched squealing, clunks, clicks, and zip sounds. Not ideal if your laundry room is near the living spaces in your home. My GE spin cycle was far superior to the LG. The LG is equipped with many more cycle options, however you won't be given a manual to tell you how to use any of them. Customer service told me that if I'm interested in determining how to get the full benefits of the machine, I will have to download the 60-page manual. LG does not provide a written manual for purchasers. I'm guessing they don't see the value of spending the extra $1.00. It's not that easy. Wasted my time trying to download the manual only to discover that when I tried to open the file, the error message, "File Not Found" popped up. Personally, I don't see the value of paying extra for a machine with bells and whistles when I have no idea how to use them. I wish Speed Queen made a high-capacity washer. Good Luck!

    Very disappointing. I often have to run the kids baseball and football uniforms through multiple times and they still don’t come out clean. I’ve tried every combination of cycles, soaks, and prewash treatments I can think of. Cycles are also very long. By far the worst machine I’ve owned.

    Too deep to reach inside, lousy documentation

    This washer is so deep that I cannot reach all the items in the bottom without using a grabber tool. What a dumb design. Why not make it two inches shorter so it would be even with my standard height counter tops and would still have more than enough capacity. Also, the written instructions leave a lot to be desired. There are several preset programs you can choose from, but there is absolutely zero explanation of these in the Owner's Manual. There should be an explanation for each one as to what the assumptions are, such as water temp, spin speeds, etc.

    LG has a year warranty, and after six months, the cold water inlet collapsed. LG technician took 2 weeks to come out here and say "yup, its broken"'. WoRST WASHER EVER.

    Really Noisy

    While this was a good price deal for the size, the noise from this washer was unbearable. Our laundry room is on the 2nd floor, so that may be the reason. It was replaced with another new one, but the problem persisted.

    Iffy for now

    I am going to give it a 2 for now. I have had this washer for three weeks and the motor that exports the water started making a noise similar to an 18 wheeler going down the road. It is being replaced tomorrow and hopefully it was just a rogue issue.

    I have had issues with clothes coming out too wet and the machine getting out of balance. I have followed all directions regarding placement of laundry. I will not buy this kind ever again.

    This model is a lemon

    Bought this three years ago. We are a family of seven so we used this quite a bit. Unfortunately, I think this particular model is a lemon. We have had the exact same issue happen three times, each about a year apart. The entire control board has to be replaced.

    Power issues

    Unit works fine but it has power issues within 4 years of purchase. 2-3 times it showed no power and after trying multiple resets it did not work. Then tried to move around the unit which solve the issue - seems like power cable behind the unit is probably loose.

    Installed wrong by Best Buy

    Does not get clothes clean if it is filled to capacity. Very disappointing. May be because it has been installed wrong by Best Buy. Hot should go to hot, cold should be connected to cold.
