Just purchased the television on 3/10 so I've only had it for a few days and while I'm still in the learning stages of understanding what seems to be a bounty of options for picture quality adjustment I can honestly say I am truly amazed at the quality of this set. I have been looking into a 4k upgrade to my home for quite sometime and put it off for a variety of reasons mostly for a limited budget. Magnolia and oled were way out of range for me and every time I found something I considered it went off sale or didn't have the features I was looking for....so when I found this set on sale I went to check it and I am really glad I did. 1) picture-- right out of the box after set up is truly amazing !! I had been watching a 40" 1080p for the last few years and while it is still very good the shear size upgrade to 55" with the 4k resolution took my breath away. 2) smart accessability-- lightning fast with home button and magic key for Netflix and Amazon prime along with a whole host of other options this set is incredibly simple to navigate. 3)connectivity-- I have the t.v. linked to my wi-fi and have no signal degeneration and internet accessibility is lightning fast plus the software updates automatically. I got this set on sale for the amazingly low price of $469.99 and am truly happy ill update at a later date with what I found to be my preferred viewing settings. All I can say is if your on a budget and want to invest in a quality 4k smart tv experience this is the set for you I'm sure you'll be as thrilled as I am. Thanks best buy!!

This TV has a beautiful picture. At 55” and in my very small home it feels Theater size. We watch a lot of TV and enjoy the viewing experience. My son has an LG and recommended this brand to us. I’m still learning the SMART features but love the home page and ability to switch to Netflix easily. I did purchase the warranty on the TV and have GeekSquad availability. I’m 65 years old and though have a fair amount of computer skills I prefer the ease of resources available. We will be enjoying this TV for a long time

If you want a big smart 4K TV on a budget, this is the one to get. 55 inch LG for under $500 is a deal! The only drawback it has is there's no Bluetooth. Not a major deal breaker though, as you can make it use Bluetooth by buying a Bluetooth USB adapter separately and connect it on the TV. Great TV...highly recommend!

I am a big Samsung guy when it comes to TV’s, just being honest. I picked up this LG on Black Friday and it’s my first experience with LG. At first, I was not happy with the picture quality once I got it up and running at home. After a few software updates, it appears that the TV has Adjusted and the picture quality on this LG has improved significantly. For the cost of this TV I am very satisfied and will recommend LG products in the future. The remote has Home buttons for Netflix and other popular apps. The home screen and settings are very easy to navigate.

I had a previous LG TV that still works and is great but I had some certificates to spend at Best Buy so I thought another TV sounded like a good idea. After much research this was the TV picked and purchased. Pros: This TV has a nice price point and comes with lots of features. Even though I can do apps on other devices, having it built in to the TV is very nice. Being that it is a newer TV, it is light. It only has 3 HDMI ports but at least it does. Many other TVs only had 2. It also has USB ports so hooking up accessories works out. Cons: I am not impressed with the sound or the picture quality. My previous, non UHD LG TV did better on both. I think part of the issue with the picture is if it isn't UHD, the TV scales it wrong. I have tried many settings but no luck. When it comes to the sound, I have no idea why it is bad. I am also not a fan of the new TV stands that are just two little legs on either end. Not everyone can mount their TV on a wall, so manufactures should keep with stands that can be removed. Once again, my prior LG TV was better in this part. Conclusion: The cons are not enough to return the TV especially since I used certificates. Also, having the apps built-in is really nice.

Needed a new T.V. as my old one a 45" Samsung which was great, thing was 3 of my 4 HDMI slots were all loose so it was just time. Did my research online and already owning a few LG appliances and reading the good reviews I decided to go for this LG 55". Braved the Black Friday masses and came out with a great deal and a good T.V. the only thing I do not like is that you can not rotate the T.V. it just stays straight forward so pick a great place to put it where you will not need to move it around, meaning the angle. Good for gaming as well as I play and my son does to, movies from DVD and Bluray great, smart T.V. functions are good very nice and simple interface, has the usual Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, and so on. Do not worry about the 4K as almost all T.V.s have that now a days. You will not view 4K unless you have all components for 4K, meaning 4K T.V., 4K HDMI cable, 4K box from your cable provider, and finally broadcasts in 4K a lot of companies still do not broadcast in 4K. Netflix does have shows and movies in 4K so you can enjoy it that way. Just a little F.Y.I.

This tv produces rich colors for a great picture and is works well with the PS4 pro. It is easy to operate and a great update from a HD tv. This is tv is worth the price and I would recommend buying if you are looking for a 4K tv for a good price.

    Awesome TV. Couple Things Though

First of all the picture on this tv is beautiful. Definitely can tell a difference from the tv this replaced. The app selection and user interface in the apps is excellent (Netflix, Amazon Video, Plex). I wish there was another couple HDMI ports. Three is pretty standard however I feel that most people now days have more than three things that need to be plugged in. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if the tv had a chromecast built in. There is a cast feature that one can use however it is really a pain to get to work compared to the ease of use that a chromecast can provide. These two complaints can be worked around with an HDMI switch and an external chromecast however so I'm not taking any stars off. Overall this tv is a worthy upgrade for anyone wanting to finally get into 4K.

I was worried about poor volume as the salesman explained all of these tvs have. Wrong. There is a setting that boosts volume to very loud. Dont buy a soundbar unless you just want it. Tv has fantastic picture and super easy to oprate.

Great tv without having to break the bank, great picture quality and really user friendly with a simple interface love that it comes with Netflix and all the other apps, upgraded Netflix to 4K streaming and all I gotta say is wow what a difference in picture quality. Only gripe that I had at the beginning was the sound quality especially since my old Sony had surround built in it took me a couple days to get used to it. Ordered a Samsung sound bar with a sub off my employee rewards program at no cost to me what so ever and now it sounds great

I own 3 LG TVs, the oldest is a full HD 1080p about 10 years old now, and all of them are still going strong. When I saw this sub $500 (on sale) 4k UHD smart tv, I figured I would be getting a no frills, watered down version of a higher end product. To my surprise this turned out to be The Deal of my holiday shopping season. When i first turned it on, I found there was a horrible lag (lip sync) in the video with the sound on HD channels. Horrified, I fumbled through the settings hoping it was something simple that needed to be tweaked. I found a setting that allowed you to adjust the sound sync timing but this did not work. I have Xfinity, and after a quick google, found that I needed to to set my set top box audio to LPCM, after that no more sync issues. The sounds is good, but not as rich as my more expensive tvs. I am thinking about getting a sound bar to help with that. The 4kUHD experience is breathtaking in comparison to standard HD, and this TV delivers good performance for the price. I even upgraded my Netflix to 4k UHD, worth the extra $4 a month and looks beautiful on this tv.

Ordered this 55" LG 6200 model online from Best Buy after reading great reviews, and so happy I did! The picture is outstanding, so vivid and colorful. Didn't find the legs on TV to be unstable as I had read in some reviews. Both the remote and TV are very user friendly. Extremely satisfied with my purchase! Prior to this purchase, had always been a Samsung customer, but am so impressed by LG, plan on being an LG customer from now on. Wondered about the difference between the 6200 & 6300 models, as they seemed identical. A salesperson told me that the 6300 had Bluetooth, & the 6200 did not, as it was just a Holiday model, but after some research, found this to be incorrect, as neither one has it. An LG rep wrote that the only difference between the 2 was in the design. My only negative is in regard to delivery by Best Buy, which obviously has no impact on the quality and performance of the TV, but nevertheless disappointing. I was called the day before & asked if I would be available in AM instead of the PM delivery I had scheduled. This boiled down to AM being more convenient for the delivery team. When they arrived, very unfriendly, brought box in, sat it down, & began to leave. When I asked if they were going to unbox it & set it up, I was informed that would be an extra charge. Perhaps their policy has changed, but had a Samsung delivered by Best Buy last year, & with no additional fee or even asking, they placed it on the stand, connected everything & even took a picture before leaving to show it was working. This year, they ultimately ended up putting the legs on & setting it on stand, but that was it. When leaving, made sure to tell me about survey, & that a good review was the only way they would be able to get a raise, which was very awkward.

Bought this TV along with an LG Sound bar for our annual Super Bowl Family Party (it was our turn to host). The picture is fantastic and super crisp, the colors are rich, the integration of the controls is seamless and we can still use our U-Verse Remote for everyday control. I love having easy access to Netflix and Hulu (don’t need to use our Apple TV in this room anymore). 30 days in, we have absolutely no complaints and would certainly purchase again.
