    LG tv issue

A little over a year and the tv started having issues, it started having issues with the screen losing picture and showing vertical lines. We had to typically in plug the unit for awhile and plug it back in to resolve the issue. A week of that issue we called Geek squad, they sent a tech out, who tested the unit and ordered parts, parts were replaced, still same issue. Awaiting a decision on if it will get replaced. The geek squad tech and staff have been pleasant to deal with.

It’s too dark in any room with light. The picture is also blurry. I’ve tried to switch setting with no luck. Overall, too expensive for what you get.

Hi there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the 65QNED80URA TV. We understand that you're finding the picture quality to be dark and blurry, and that this has impacted your overall satisfaction.

For the dark picture issue, try adjusting the TV’s brightness and contrast settings through the picture menu. You may also want to enable any available backlight or local dimming features. If the picture remains blurry, ensure that your input sources are properly connected and that the TV's resolution settings match your content.

Spec heavy LG model doesn't translate in home

I didn't love this TV for a couple of reasons. 1. OS UI and remote control we're annoying for me. Coming from a Roku and Sony (Google) UI, both are much easier to use. Also, if youre a baseball fan, at the time of this review, the MLB app isn't supported on this tv. I watch every out of market game though an app subscription which is available on Roku and Google devices. 2. This is subjective, but i thought the color had a sort of greyish tint, blacks weren't very deep, and overall screen looked washed out. (I tried all preset picture options with similar results). For reference, the picture on my 55" Sony Bravia, which was around half the price, looks better in in both high light and dark rooms. Finally, I noticed blurring when there was motion on the screen. One other note, I was so happy with my Bravia, i came in looking for it. I walked out with the LG because the sales person was convinced about how superior the LG was for the price. He listed off a lot of specs about light nodes, which I have no reason to doubt. These specs didnt translate to a good experience for me. My conclusion is that in this price point, LG tvs are sold more than they're bought. I returned and replaced with a 65" Sony Bravia. Its fantastic.

Hi there. Thank you for raising your concern. I'm thrilled to hear that you're having an amazing experience with your LG B3 series! I'm so glad to hear that you're absolutely loving the performance and picture quality.

I completely understand why you might be comparing it to OLED, and I'm glad to hear that you think the B3 series holds its own. However, I want to acknowledge that you did have high expectations for OLED, and I apologize if we didn't quite meet those expectations.

I want to assure you that our B3 series is a fantastic product in its own right, and we're proud of the technology and innovation that goes into every TV. While it may not be OLED, it's still a top-notch display that provides an exceptional viewing experience.

That being said, I understand your temptation to splurge on OLED. It's a fantastic technology, and many people swear by its incredible picture quality. If you're looking for an upgrade or want to experience the best of the best, we do offer OLED options in our lineup. Please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport so we can help you further. ^Cris LG
