OLED is still king. No comparison. If you're worrying about burn in, go to a BestBuy store and look at the OLED screens on display. Those demo screens are on 10 hrs a day. No burn in. Anyways.....This 65" LG C1 replaces our 55" OLED LG B9, Which has been moved to the master bedroom. This is the best TV I've ever owned. Hands down. The App interface is just ok, but I use an Apple TV for my streaming apps anyways. I have a Playstation and a Nintendo Switch. My 3 year old LG OLED 55" B9 has over 3000 hours of use, with no burn in. If you vary your viewing content, you'll be fine. The internal speakers are ok, but the TV is flat, so what did you expect? We use a soundbar anyways. Brightness is great for our needs.

I use LG C1 65" TV for everything. It is my main desktop monitor, cable TV, streaming and gaming monitor as well. I cannot be happier with the resolution, color and contrast rendering. Before this I had an LED TV and there is a night and day difference in the blacks, far superior. I still haven't been able to get my hands on a PS5 or a 120hz console so I cannot testify about that part of the performance. It required minimal calibration to bring some details out of the blacks and that was about it. It is not crazy heavy but it is extremely odd to handle because of its size, so it is difficult for one person to set it up, definitely have someone help you, I did it on my own and it took some hours and tinkering to carry it and install it on my own. If you are not handy don't risk the 3k+ money of the TV The interface is good, responsive and not laggy. Have been using it daily for 4 to 8 hours for a month without any freezes or errors. The LG channels are convenient since they are literally the same thing as cable tv, so you can actually cancel cable TV and save that money. The only thing that annoys me to death is the remote... It feels like I bought a $50 dollar TV on discount. It is plasticky, slippery, and buttons click hard which makes is super loud. I hate the remote... I like the pointer function, so I use it. But that clicking sound and always feeling like it is slipping out of my hand is extremely annoying

The best TV I have ever owned. If you can spend a little extra, pull the trigger on this one. Gaming is unparalleled, regular content looks fantastic, and movies look amazing. The only con in my case is the included stand makes it almost impossible to use a sound bar (on the same surface level). However, the stock speakers sound great. I have seen a few review about how this TV may not be a good idea for a bright room, but it looks great in my bright window filled living room. I have been using the Apple TV 4K and the PS5 mostly for content and it is just amazing. Enough of this love fest, I need to go watch AEW Dynamite. Love y’all.

The best OLED TV out there!

The LG C1 is truly the best OLED TV out there! If your looking for a high end OLED TV that supports all of your tech needs such as: deeper blacks, accurate colors, 4K 120fps, NVIDIA G-SYNC, Free Sync premium, 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs, high brightness, elegant design such as a glass screen and aluminum back, and most importantly a TV that is future proof for the next 5-10 years than this TV is for you! In terms of gaming the LG C1 is truly the best OLED TV for it as it gives more life to games more than ever with low latency while using the “Game mode” input while connected to a next gen console such as a PS5. If you have an older console such as a PS3 or an Xbox 360, this TV will 100% bring more life and color to those older consoles as the TV has a range of options in order to make the picture seem more vivid and sharp which is an A+! At 65 inches this TV definitely brings movies and gaming to a whole new level without a doubt. This definitely is the best OLED TV out there!

This TV is the greatest I’ve ever owned. I have always gone more for size instead of quality. But this time I went out on a limb. I figured since I’m a gamer and this TV covers ALL features that the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 can dish out, why not treat myself. And a treat it is. Beautiful picture, plethora of settings to suit your needs, 4 usb 2.1 ports. Sound is also the best I’ve experience from a TV without a sound bar. I did alot of research before grabbing this TV and this seems to really the best TV of 2021 based on MANY reviews; I can vouch for that. I would not wait for the C2. Price will be high and so far it doesn’t seem to offer much better performance for the higher price. The peak brightness will be higher but most likely you will only be able to tell if they were side by side. You won’t be disappointed.

I got this tv about 1 year ago. So far the tv has been absolutely fantastic. Greatest tv I have ever owned. The picture is perfect and the options to adjust the image on the tv seem to be endless and definitely more options than I’ll ever need. Games look great on it, movies look fantastic and the 120hz is definitely noticeable! Also, the 5.1 sound system built into the tv is better than some sound bars that I’ve owned. It really surprised me how surround sound the tv by itself is. Definitely worth the money. Would hands down buy this tv again.

The quality of picture is the best see! Movies looks like cinema, calibrating colors , advanced option is easy to configure ! I think that is Far the best gaming tv ... G sync , Freesync ,Low input lag , fast response .. on PS5 support 1080p 120Hz , 4K 60hz with lot of quality, better than my other TV Samsung Q80r .. PS5 don’t have games 4K 120hz yet but the TB support that with HDR and HGIG .. VRR an ALLM it’s possible setup as well but only XBOx have that technology! Thank you so much LG for that TV ..

Solid set. Great picture. Vivid. But I mean , most are nowadays and it depends what looks great to you. This was an upgrade for us. First 120hz and not disappointed. No stuttering when streaming or gaming on XSX or PS5. Considerably lesss input lag than gaming on our older 60hz 4K. Menu/Home Screen can be a little slow. LG displays a ton of info on that page. We bypass it. Can go into settings and set it to turn on to previous input. Ours always ques up to Netflix, Disney or gaming console, etc.( depending what was used before shutdown). This is never buggy and keeps us away from main screen populating ads and all the apps. May not bug you but bugged us enough to change the settings. Sound is fine. Full surround is, of course, better. Pics: tv is not washed out, just crummy lighting. Showing Home Screen that we avoid.

I went from a Samsung 60" Plasma (PN60E530A3FXZA) which had excellent blacks, but this LG C1 is a definite improvement. Yes it's 4k versus the 1080P I had but at 15-20 feet back on the couch or even further sitting in Kitchen at 30-40 feet away the resolution is worth noting but the black levels of the OLED technology is worth the expense in my opinion. Weight, it's about the same as my old Plasma around 60lbs for the 65" OLED. The stand however is nearly 20 lbs. The VESA mounting holes are on the bottom 1/3 of TV versus being in center, something to note for wall mounting if using existing mount. I had to lower my wall mount quite a bit for this. LG App store and Smart TV apps are nearly as fast as lower end Roku's but if you get a new 2021/2022 Roku those would be quicker in response. I use a 4k Roku Ultimate or Ultra on this TV and based on previous other LG/Samsung TVs with Smart Apps that they tend to slow over time as the apps update to use newer hardware. One LG Smart TV feature I will use though is the Art Gallery, I forget what it is called but it has artwork built in and you can choose to display that during a party or gathering where you'd rather not just have a blank black screen taking up a good portion of the wall. Heat is much reduced from older LCD/Plasmas just like most LED/QLED/OLED TVs they produce less heat which is nice when you prefer a cooler room. Reflections of Windows and Lights is also better than most of my LED with Matte screens, and way better than the shiny smooth glass screen on the Plasma. There is an A1 version but the bezel was wider around the edge and to my wife and I the picture looked in her words more "real" on the C1. Also note there is now a new C2 and it has Carbon-Fiber ooh-la-la and other stuff I don't recall. I'd be happy to recommend this LG C1 to my friends and family.

This is a great TV with some minor annoyances that could be easily corrected by LG. Picture quality is great and the black levels you can only get from OLED. It's got wonderful gaming features and options that I love. My annoyances: 1). Setting up the stand is a pain. I don't think I've ever had a TV as thoughtless about this process before. I have to sit a 65" ultrathin TV face first on a surface to screw in a stand for it to sit on? Why not have click-in support? 2). In game mode the TV always defaults to the crappy GameAI audio option which is super tinny and poor quality. Let me leave the audio in Cinema mode by default. Please LG. 3.) You'll probably want a sound bar. And that's fine if your setup allows a place underneath the TV for it. If you plan on placing one in front of the TV you're out of luck since the stand is so low.

The LG OLED 65" Class C1 Q80 Series TV is absolutely beautiful to behold. It is incredibly thin! The OLED screen allows the blackest blacks and whitest whites to shine through at the same time in scenes with both black and white, which makes for a dynamic picture. The colors are insane! We bought a 65" Samsung QLED and the LG OLED surpasses the quality of the Samsung QLED. When the background picture shows a piece of art with a gold frame, the quality is so good that it looks like a real piece of art One down side: "Magic Remote" that this TV comes with has a flawed design- it is big & clunky. They could've made it more sleek and smaller to fit better in your hand.

OLED & 120Hz: The best viewing experience currently available. No issues with burn-in personally — my LG B7 is >4 years old and on ~6hrs/day every day — grey is still far more uniform than my IPS monitor. If you suffer from migraines, try a 120Hz OLED like the LG C1. Personally, backlit displays cause eye strain/fatigue (even the $5k Apple ProDisplay XDR).

Like the title says, It’s an incredible tv. Oled’s are truly the best tv’s out. You’ll have to tweak the settings a bit to your preference. Everything looks great on it. PS5 is definitely next level on it. Get the Best Buy extended warranty if you’re afraid of burn in and for peace of mind. It’s one if the highest rated tv’s for a reason.

This is my first OLED, and it is fantastic. Colors are vibrant, and the low input lag and game optimizer make it one of the top choices (if not the best) for next-generation gaming. HDR movies and other media also look stunning, and having Dolby Vision and Atmos support is a great bonus when supported. Suppose you watch cable Tv or other lower-resolution content. In that case, the Tv does a good job upscaling the signal, given the limitations of the signal (in my case, the signal coming from a Direct TV receiver). Lastly, the magic remote is excellent, in my opinion. I find it much faster to hoover over the keyboard and type in a search than using the traditional + buttons.

Just wow!! The picture quality is amazing and the gaming features are outstanding. Overall, I highly recommend this TV for viewing movies, watching sports, playing video games and even surfing the net if you'd like. The blacks are the best I've seen in any TV. The TV shines with 4K Dolby Vision content and looks fantastic with HDR as well. I tried to upload some pictures but they don't do the TV justice. You have to be there in person to enjoy the full experience. The brightness is also really good. The C2 is probably going to be another great TV and yes it is brighter than the C1 but the C1 is plenty bright. Not to mention it's about 700 to 800 dollars cheaper. This TV is the best bang for your buck. Get it, you won't regret it.

There are some things in life you pay good money for... and if you value home entertainment this is one of them. The picture is absolutely remarkable. The clarity and picture quality is bar none. You will see details you wouldn't otherwise notice and it really makes content so much more fun to watch. Dolby Atmos on Netflix looks phenomenal I have an Xbox Series X and the Game Mode is such a great feature. Games look great and you can choose what type of video game you're playing to get the best picture quality. I have mine in a darker room with room darkening curtains. If I dont close the curtains it picks up and hint of light and ruins your picture. Sound quality is decent, but I chose to get a soundbar and subwoofer to really make the best of the experience of the C1. I also chose to buy the 5 year best buy warranty because I wouldn't have been able to enjoy this constantly worrying about burn in. If you are able to spend the money you will not be disappointed. It's by and far the best picture I've ever seen. They say once you go OLED you can't go back and the C1 has made me a believer.

Not only does the picture look amazing, but the real thing is just how impressive it can be. Even to my non tech-e friends, they are even in a wow when I show them what this tv does. Only downside is the os…not a big fan. It’s nicer than Rokus, but it just doesn’t have the ease and quickness of the roku ui. And a huge bummer, but no ESPN app on the os. That’s just disappointing. Still can’t dock any stars just because the picture is so freakin beautiful.

I have always been a sucker for high end TV’s and have had a number of them over the years including a Pioneer Elite Plasma, Panasonic GT50 plasma and a 85” Sony XBR900H. That said, this LG C1 is the best of the bunch by far and is what other TV’s should aspire to. The blacks are amazing and it’s just a top notch set. I had considered a Samsung Q90 but the lack of 2.1 hdmi jacks all around disappointed me since I have a PS5 and Series X. Not sure why other manufacturers only give you 2 of the 2.1’s while LG gives you 4. The picture on both the Xbox and PlayStation are amazing. I’m a big Destiny 2 fan and this set makes it even more enjoyable. SD and HD both look fantastic and 4K Dolby Vision shows are stunning! If you can, spend a little more buy the best TV currently out there. You won’t be disappointed!
