I frankly don’t or haven’t used that phrase to describe many displays in my experience but since these past 2 years, display technology has been outright impressive. This is not the first oled for me but it is the first flagship tv (and oled). The A1 really showed me what an oled can do, even the budget ones, but it was unfortunately a little on the dim side, not fit for a bright living room. My mom had the G2 and while that TV was indeed a very good TV it did not wow me, certainly not like this one. Even in store I could tell this TV was different, it made me fight my initial plans on buying a C3 or A80L (the A95L is just too pricy). The build quality looks premium, metal sides and a very clean and thin silhouette make this a visually attractive TV. But that MLA panel steals the show. This thing is brighter than the S95C 77 that my parents own, and the dynamic range of its brightness is quite something. Highlights get so bright in a focused area it’s actually jarring because it feels like something I’ve never seen a TV do. As the reviews suggest, the color accuracy and vibrancy is top 3, and only surpassed by QD-OLED panels, but just by a small margin. I would argue price differences make this TV better than those. The built in OS has been pretty snappy but I tend to prefer Apple TV OS so that’s most of my experience. Sometimes I sit and just look at it, no joke. I did decide to return the 65, if only because the 77 G4 offered the same quality but for a true large screen experience. The 65 nearly convinced me it could handle the job on its own, it really is that good. Prior to getting a new Apple TV to handle hdmi 2.1 (4k 60), we were watching YouTube content at 1440 upscaled 4k. The processor chip is a beast. Upscaled content was honestly nearly the same as native, with exception to some small details. Blacks are perfect, motion is handled very well. Easily contends with a95l and s95d and I would argue better. It’s got a 5 year LG warranty including burn in, very solid. Only thing is probably sound quality, it’s not bad for a TV, but… it is still a tv speaker arrangement. We used stereo shelf speakers and so I won’t try to scrutinize them with so little use but they are ok, nothing crazy. Please get audio equipment to accompany this TV it will stifle a fantastic experience. Overall LG has delivered the first TV that I have found to be worth it completely for a $$$$ price range, I have no regrets or even thoughts of the others being better, it just handles business. This G4 is what I have been waiting for for over a decade in my hopes. It is starting more and more to feel like the home cinema is becoming a reality, perhaps even preferred, with the evolution of each generation of OLED. You won’t be disappointed, I hope. I’m certainly not

If you are like me and you have been worried about OLEDs not being bright enough, there is no need to worry any longer. I have gone through several TVs before diving into this one and spending all of that money on it. I tried MiniLED and while they were bright (sometimes too bright even) when I had the Sony x93l and this TV side by side, the color science, the contrast, everything other than brightness was just better. MiniLED suffers from blooming and slow pixel response time. The near instantaneous response time of OLED and the pixel by pixel level control of the brightness completely eliminates blooming and makes both TV watching and gaming an absolute dream. I am so so so happy to have finally jumped into OLED. Everyone who sees it loves it!

I had a very good Samsung 55" flat screen tv that was over 10 years old. I decided it was time to upgrade to a Smart TV so I could have access to all my streaming channels without using a Fire Stick or my PS4. After much research and all the recommendations I read about this TV I bought it while it was at a good sale price. I am not disappointed by the result. This is an excellent television. The picture is amazing. Even in my bright living room the picture is sharp and clear. It's very easy to access all the streaming channels I use. I have an LG soundbar with it and the combination is outstanding. I had the Geek Squad install the TV and set it up and they did a wonderful job. They even hauled the old TV out.

Coming from an LG CX 65", wow, what a difference 2024 brings. Absolutely blown away by the difference the A11 processor makes from the A9. The colors are amazing, and the brightness is eye candy. 5 year panel protection (burn in included) my CX never had any burn in over 5 years ownership with Xbox. Highly recommended!

The BEST OLED TV I've been wanting since 2016!!! Always too Expensive! Finally, a 65 in LG OLED EVO G4 for under $2000! Plus, free delivery and set-up. BEST PICTURE! Great for BRIGHT Rooms! Very little glare w direct sunlight. Can see it very clearly from just about any angle. The colors are amazing! The blacks are the deepest blacks! The frame is minimal and it's black. Very nice strong small stand that is slip resistant. It's actually nearly impossible to slide it you have to lift it at an angle and slide it on the edge of the TV stand to move it on varnished wood. Many features many free streaming subscriptions for 6 months or more. If you want to know that tv, by this one it's top of the line! And, I wanted to get away from any LED TV. Even Quantum dot. Led tvs, Led lights, and anything with LEDs actually Flash so fast your eyes don't notice it but your brain perceives the effect. Just like video games and children there's a warning that they can cause seizures and epilepsy. I've been trying to do away with LEDs in my home and the big source of LED flashing that affects the brain is the amount of time I spend in front of a tv! I was getting unknown headaches and migraines. After getting the OLED tv, I hardly ever get headaches or migraines any longer. That's just something I've noticed. Major difference!

Had a G1 LG before, The G4 is so much brighter than the G1 and installation flat against the wall was a snap. Unlike many other TV, it integrate like a picture in the wall, no unsightly "bulge" and it loos really sharp

The LG G4 is hands down the best TV I've ever owned and anyone looking to buy a high-end OLED TV should consider it, even with newer 2025 models releasing with the discounts you can find. I originally purchased the Samsung S90D, but after returning multiple due to quality control issues (bent panels and faulty displays), I landed on the LG C4. I enjoyed that TV so much that I ended up moving and mounting it in our game room. I then decided to go up a level to the G4 for the living room and I have no regrets. Pros: - Gorgeous, accurate, and vibrant colors - Incredibly bright with the second gen MLA OLED panel. - Near infinite contrast with deep, zero level blacks - Near instantaneous pixel response times - Perfect all-around viewing angles - Great image processing with good low-content image smoothing, upscaling, and motion interpolation thanks to the alpha 11 ai processor - 5-year limited panel warranty - Built in heat sink to help with heat and panel longevity. - Premium built, sturdy design. Cons: - Magic remote is bulky, and I constantly activate the motion pointer on accident. - Had to exchange the first LG G4 due to a dead pixel I found out of the box. Thankfully best buy made the exchange easy, and the second panel has been perfect.

Best Buy was except to deal with. They gave me a good price and I hired them to come to my condo and take away my old plasma TV, and mount the new one. I had purchased a mounting bracket, but they were able to use my old one. They gave me credit for the bracket, and did it on the spot with their computer. Incidentally, I tried improving the picture on this LG, but wasn't satisfied with the contrast which I though was too high. Still not totally satisfied, but when I turned the TV on the next time, I got a message on the screen that it had set something to automatic. Now the picture is unbelievably perfect. The TV is smarter than I am!

I bought this tv on Black Friday and I can say after 2 months of having the tv, it’s been an amazing experience. I used it to watch movies and play video games and I can say from UHD to OLED, the picture quality on the LG G4 is awesome! I highly recommend this tv to be in your home theater!

Had a GX that my wife so graciously broke (on accident). Loved it. Got the G4 here just as the G5 are making their way in and got a nice deal on it. Loving the increased brightness so far. A huge step up 4 generations later. Super happy with my purchase, definitely not worried about not having the new G5. Sleek beautiful design. Flush on the wall. Perfect blacks and amazing viewing angles. Can't complain about this TV at all except i wish i had gone with bigger than a 65" this time around.

Stunning TV!!! I originally bought a SONY BRAVIA 8 - left it in the box, did more research and for the money, features, and capabilities, I ended up swapping it to an LC C4. Unfortunately, the C4 did not WOW! me in any way - was I saving money? - Yes. So I thought to myself, this is an investment for me and my family, let me do some more research. I finally found from several well known reviewers that the LG G4 was the best TV LG has ever made so far… and they were right! I am extremely happy, the WOW! Factor is definitely there, from OOB(Out-of-Box). No major need for professional tuning. - minor settings adjustments from QuantumTV on YouTube. … and voila (Chef’s Kiss)! Also, it’s thinly gorgeous. Flush on the wall.

This Tv has all the bells and whistles. The picture is off the charts and it’s a super thin Tv! I used to be a Samsung guy but this LG G4 had me flip to the best of the best. If you’re a gamer this Tv is perfect too!

If there was a way to define a perfect tv, this would be it. 4k, 144hz refresh rate (if overclocked) 120 standard, Dolby vision, and Dolby Atmos via eARC. And it’s BRIGHT for an OLED. This completely changed my gaming experience. And it brought movies & TVs to another level. Especially ones mastered with Dolby Vision. 10/10 only thing I regret is not going for the 77 inch, but 65” is perfect for my room. Sound when using a soundbar or receiver is amazing. The built in speakers surprising sound good, but them alone are not enough for the cinematic feel to really immerse yourself.

My older LG C7 had a great picture but was starting to burn in with closed captions. Ive had my eye on this 65” G4 since it came out. It dropped $800 and that sealed the deal. The TV is a beast with beautiful vibrant colors. I took off my sound bar because the speaker system in the tv sounds much better than my soundbar. The installation of the television was smooth with Geek Squad and they did everything including clean up and hauling any mess they made away. and i know have a beautiful television
