    Dryer lint filter design is defective. Lint goes outside the filter on both sides and accumulates in the bottom of the filter opening. error message of blocked vent d80 appears after nearly every load. Photos show lint manually pulled out after just one load, and lint on either side of filter. I contacted LG, but they won't accept a complaint unless I pay for a duct cleaning and present a paid receipt. No problem with the duct. Problem is the machine.

    I bought the LG DLE8400BE dryer with the matching top load washer. The dryer is quiet, functions well, and looks good. The only thing I dislike is the lint filter. While I like the very fine mesh that catches more lint, I do not like the multi-panel framing and the clam shell design. It makes it too awkward to quickly remove the lint. Although this is just a minor issue, I feel LG could do better to make lint removal more convenient instead of having to dig lint out of eleven framed panels while trying to hold the clam shell open. While emptying this lint filter is a PITA, it does not detract from the overall satisfaction of the dryer. Others may disagree, but I like everything else about this dryer.

    Love this drier and the dual opening options on the door for loading and unloading clothes. Gets clothes dry super quick. My only concern is dryer sheets tend to get stuck in the lint housing and don’t tumble with the clothes. Doesn’t do it every load but 7/10 loads. Love the app notifications for cycle completion so I can get clothes out instantly without hearing some annoying jingle.

    So far everything works great. I have not downloaded any settings yet to see the other options. Only negative is dryer sheets keep getting caught under the lint trap. Not sure how to stop this. Everything works great so far.

    Excellent purchase couldn’t be happier with the product and the delivery process. Three lint trap is a little unusual but not a problem at all and no towels setting was unusual but other than that loving it.

    I've had this dryer for 3 days and it's awful. It doesn't dry completely, it shuts off and the clothes are still damp. I would not recommend this product.
