I’ve only had the machine for a day and I love it, also purchased the matching washer. I’ve done several loads of laundry testing out different settings and functions. It looks great and runs very quite. The Wi-Fi connection with the LG phone app is also very useful, I can see on my phone how much time is left on the cycle and sends me an alert when the drying is complete. The steam option is also very nice to get those wrinkles out. I stacked my combo to save space and works well like that. I would recommend this product.

This was the best decision we've made, didn't really need a new dryer only a washer but decided to go all the way since we were getting the matching washer, since after 16 years our Lg washer was beyond a resonabale repair! These things are made to last so we went with LG again. Loved ours and I am sure we will love these!!

This dryer is larger than my previous unit. I was afraid it would significantly increase my gas usage. Although the drying cycle is longer than the old dryer, it’s using the same energy per my utility company. I love this dryer!

Great dryer and dry clothes fast. I chose the gas model and I love it. Many features and I use them all. Great for kids or to refresh a shirt or jack for work or play. You will not be disappointed.

We knew eventually we would need a new washer and dryer. Our last washer just had too many repairs over the 15 years. We purchased the new LG duo July 2020 for delivery, installation and removal of the old set once the old washer died from self-inflicted burns stemming from its rubberized and metal motor parts. Excited to do laundry and use the funky fancy features. But, yhe day after installing the new LG set...after just ONE load... we noticed our new washer leaking. We immediately called Bestbuy who sent the same installation guys back to double check hoses and hookups the following day. All hookups were perfect. Except the washer is still leaking... from the inside out! We called Bestbuy (while the installers were here) to let the store know the findings. The appliance rep has been diligently working with the manufacturer so we can get a new replacement. As of Aug 21 2020, we are still waiting for a new replacement washer and constantly mopping up the water every time we do one load of laundry. Hope to get our replacement washer in the 1st week of September as promised. Meanwhile, an oscillating fan spans the laundry room just to make sure no mold or mildew forms. Quite bummed out.

Finally!! I have a grown up washer and dryer. Not loud! Clothes are dry and fresh. The steam function is great for more delicate fabrics.

We've done about three loads a day for one week straight and so far no issues. The washer looks so beautiful in white. Can't be happier with this purchase.

This product did not qualify for the gas company rebate.

I love the WIFI feature on this dryer. It does wonder when you can remotely start the dryer away from home and have your clothes ready when you get home

Quiet, loaded with features, and the app notification on your phone that the dryer had finished its cycle is such a fantastic feature. Now, with any modern appliance, I'll see if it makes it past 12 months as this replaced a Samsung that I personally fixed about a half dozen times which dragged it to 9 years old which is like 1000 in household appliance years (I say dragged it as Samsung appliances have built in methods of failing...$5 sensor here, $10 spring there, but if you are handy you can fix them). Come on LG...lets make it long term without me getting my hands cut up!!

We needed a new dryer after the old one broke down. LG has a great record for reliability, so we focused on LG. My wife wanted the steam option, so that narrowed down the options. This is the one we settled on and are very happy with it. Very quiet, large capacity, with many specialized functions, but we usually use only 2-3 of them. Only downside is that the lint screen seems small for a unit this big. Note that due to the steam function, you will need access to a water line, which is usually easy if near the washer.

This dryer performs as expected. We just replaced our stackable still-working Frigidaire washer and dryer that gave us 22 years of great service. We didn’t really need all this sophistication with so many different programs, but there were no simpler choices in the market, and it was only a small difference in price between Steam vs. No-Steam. The Steam feature has only been used once, and it’s ok. Being home all the time during this pandemic, the clothes are removed from the dryer right after the cycle ends, thus no need for steam so far. Marginal notes: the controls of the dryer which sits on top of the washer, seem pretty high for a 5’2” person, but i have gotten used to it. And yes, the dashboard does not have a back light and that is a bummer. My laundry room it’s very well illuminated, though, and that makes it easier to see the programs. Another thing it’s that we did not use the steam dryer kit that came included to connect the water that gets deviated from the washer to the dryer for the steam production, because the hose and the Y connector are all plastic. We purchased a kit that included stainless hoses and brass Y connector to prevent future bursting of the plastic hoses due to water pressure, or leaks due to Y connector being plastic. We recommend this dryer.

It’s a fine, easy to use dryer. All the controls are on the front so the top is clean and good for folding. I like my clothes very dry, so sometimes I have to add 10 minutes. The sensor and I see it differently. But if I use timed dry, it works out beautifully. Can handle large loads, towels, comforters. Very happy with my purchase.

Extremely user friendly. Simple, yet powerful design. Quiet. Love the efficiency and environmentally-friendly water consumption. Built strong, but still has a nice, sleek aesthetic. A major plus that the sides of the machines have handles to help with transporting. My only complaint is that the WiFi setup was very complicated, considering the lack of details in the instruction manual. I had to watch a YouTube video posted by another consumer to understand how to connect. Once I got connected, it was pretty straight forward though on how take advantage of the remote wash feature. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I buy a lot of LG washer dryers for a property group and they have been so reliable over the years. When it came time for me to purchase a new set, I went with this for my family. I have been using them for 3 weeks and am so impressed with the performance. Energy saver mode, speed dry, or steaming an expensive blazer, the performance has been outstanding. I think my dry cleaner is going to miss me.

I researched in detail my purchase before buying. After hearing many horror stories regarding Samsung, I chose LG. I heard many good reviews of LG and they were right. The dryer dries the clothes very quickly. I love love love the steam feature to freshen clothes that are wrinkled, but honestly, my clothes come out NOT wrinkled. It was a quick set up and I've used it everyday since I got it. Piles of laundry that used to take days in my old machine (very basic) take less than a day now. I highly recommend it and recommend the customer service at Best Buy.

Very proficient well built quite clean my laundry well. I will always buy my large appliances through best buy. The price was good after shopping around they really had the best deal available. My wife and kids also love using it because of the simplicity of the buttons and dials. My mother in law come over now to use the washer she says her clothes are my h cleaner with this washer than the other one we had before. And on the staff at best buy they were great helping through the process of our purchasing the washer so we also brought the dry. The plan of 24 months came in it was better deal.

Easy to use all of the controls and settings. Quiet operating also. Dries all loads quickly and has large capacity.

Lg had terrible instructions for setting up washer and dryer on WiFi in SmartThinQ app using an iPhone No help whatsoever from lg. No video help either. iPhone has to be on the same 2.4ghz network washer is using to get on the network. Turn off cellular on iPhone as well. Also make sure mac filtering is not enabled or it won’t work. I had created a guest network previously on 2.4ghz so it was easy to find. My att modem has dual radios 5.0 and 2.4 and washer could not get thru enrollment so I used the guest network which isolated the 2.4ghz. I spent a month scouring the internet and lg social media to no avail. An Att tech who came to check my home WiFi to make sure it was not the problem figured it out in 10 minutes. Lg needs to fix their instructions and have videos help for iPhone users. Very frustrating. I use the app bc I cannot hear the dryer from the garage. Very convenient to be able to add time to the cycle if can’t get it. Great dryer otherwise. Lg get your act together!
