I ordered 2 of these. One works great. The other came with a defective wall wart power adapter. I metered the output and it's zero volts. Now the run-around begins. Online support chat says I have to take the whole monitor in to my local BestBuy store to get it replaced. No stores within 500 miles of my have this monitor in stock. Girl at the store says they can try to special order the monitor. It'll take at least a week to get the store. It only took 6 days for my order to arrive to me. This is excruciating when a stupid $3 wall wart dies and they have to jerk the customer around and make him jump through hoops. Don't buy LG. Stick with Dell monitors. I just had to replace a Dell at work. Dell preshipped the replacement monitor, and included a prepaid return shipping label for the bad unit. Took me 5 minutes. Why did I succumb to the temptation of a low price. Also, the packaging for shipping was haphazard. It's amazing that these arrived undamaged as all the supporting padding had shifted and the monitor was bouncing around in the box.

First one ordered, looked good had it for 3 days then it just turned off while I was two feet from the monitor, nothing else had a power problem so I returned it and ordered another. Second one had everything bouncing around loosely in the box, found chips on the edge of the screen, returned and ordered another. Third one looked good, worked good for 2 days then turned off (like the first one did). My old 24" monitor never does this, my wife's monitor never does this, I returned it to Best Buy, and gave on these LG refurbs. After three out of three being bad I don't want to try a fourth.

I had bought one of these brand new before and loved the features, quality, and abilities. I have also purchased some smaller versions of this model that were refurbished from Geek Squad and had no issues with them. Everything was in the box and wrapped up neatly. The only downside to this transaction is that I had to purchase through here. My local Best Buy showed they had a new one of these in stock. They did not and I asked if I could purchase the floor display (being a former Best Buy employee I could see it was discontinued and there was no more in their warehouse when the associate pulled it up, so normally we would sell it at that point) he refused saying that he could not because it still showed they had 2 new in the box, but yet he could not locate them. Was a little annoyed by that and left, but I did not blame Best Buy was more the associate as he seemed he could careless and I have never been impressed with that individual before when in the store.

I had to return the refurbished item and buy a new one, the new one worked great.

Needs better shipping care. Something solid rather then having it float around in a box.

Ordered this refurbished LG monitor to surprise my husband- Surprise, it's broken! Also had minor scratching at top. Arrived in tact but when turned on had a digital white-out area which triangulated over 2/3 of the screen area. Now I'm being subjected to (so far over 10 minutes) of static-ridden hold music while I rearrange my day to get this taken care of. Usually a refurbished piece has been gone over enough times that you can expect solid performance with no glitches. Obviously, this was boxed with this issue- very poor quality control. Now have been on hold over 15 minutes. Now 25 minutes...

First of all I'd like to say they shipped this thing crazy fast. I ordered it around 4pm yesterday and received it at 10am this morning with expedited shipping. As for the product itself, the only indicators I even found of it not being brand new were that the box had obviously been re-taped and there was an inspection label in the box. The monitor gives a quality picture and color settings are calibrated well. Also, instead of buttons that can eventually break (I've had that happen twice on a previous monitor) there is a row of sensors along the bottom of the monitor that perform all the usual control functions with just a touch.. I will probably be buying at least two more of these refurbished monitors in the near future.
