This dishwasher is a cleaning beast! It is super quiet (I turned it on and thought I hadn’t installed it correctly because I couldn’t hear it even though I was standing right next to it). I can wash huge crab boiler pots and large skillets due to being able to raise and lower the middle rack, and the upper rack is perfect for utensils and other odds and ends. It has lots of great features and WiFi connectivity is a lot handier than I anticipated. So, why only 3 stars? Because the folding rack dividers are a pain in the butt! First of all, they fold when you don’t want them to and—more importantly—the center hinge clip on every single row broke within the first year of use. I’m pretty handy so I used stainless steel wire to reattach the clips and that repair worked fine. However, now two of the eight lower rack wheels just popped off and it’s impossible to simply pop the wheels back on because the bearing retainer rings broke and ball bearings went everywhere. Thankfully, I purchased Geek Squad protection so I don’t have to pay more than $200 (Yes! More than $200!) to get the bottom rack replaced, but the rack is on back order (Gee. Wonder why?). Minor issue: Tub light goes off after a couple of minutes and I can’t figure out how to keep it on. Like WiFi connectivity, I didn’t know how handy a tub light would be until I had one. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stay on while loading/unloading. Why even have a light if you can’t control when it turns off? Bottom line, for a top money—for me, at least!!—dishwasher there is no excuse for a component as important as the bottom rack to be so poorly designed that it breaks within months of purchase. Yo LG! I love your brand but come on! You can do better than this! I cannot recommend this dishwasher. There are too many other good options out there.

This is amazing. Love the lights on the inside and the adjustable racks. The modern design really looks great. It’s very quiet and comes with a lot of noise canceling pads in the box to seal any openings. I have to open the app to make sure its running. (It’s that quiet!).

It’s quiet and dishes come out clean ! The “smart” feature is not very useful in my opinion, but We like the dishwasher very much.

The LG Studio dishwasher is a beautifully crafted kitchen appliance. It’s Chrome interior with LED lights look spectacular. It has so many functions, it’s like a space ship. The LG app has limited capabilities, but is fun to use.

Amazing deal on open box and I took it home and then they installed for free with membership. Love it

I would give it zero stars if I could. And Best Buy too! Stopped working after 33 days! Panel not working and finding any support on the website is a joke!

The only reason I ended up with this one is because Best Buy delivered a destroyed dishwasher a model below this and the same unit was out of stock for months so they upgraded me for free. This dishwasher is super quiet even if you dont install all the additional sound dampening pads. Its very easy to operate and does a fairly good job of cleaning although we have had to use heavy duty to get as clean as we would like. for the price I'm a little disappointed in having to use heavy duty. the installation is EXTREMLY DIFFIICULT! I did it my self and it was not fun. the electrical , water and drain lines have to be installed precisely in special channels under the unit. I had to move all of them to get this installed including a new hole in the sink base for the drain line . it has multiple rubber sound dampening pads that you can install. I didn't, as it looked like a real pain. its still super quiet. to summarize: looks great, love the interior lights , super quiet, racks and baskets are very flexible and will fit anything. Super difficult installation. cleaning is just average the lower priced units seem to have the same cleaning system . My old 10year old whirlpool cleaned just as well or better. Its a pain to add rinse solution. I end up spilling it all over the inside of the door

This takes a while to run a dishwasher load (on a thorough clean setting it takes upwards of 3 hours!) but the clean it puts down and the quiet of operation are fantastic. It's SO quiet I usually forget it's running altogether. Its eco-friendly ratings are high and I don't have a great way to test them but both electricity and water use are supposedly low and nothing we have seen suggests that's not true. The 3-row capacity is fantastic, it has great space in the top rack and the bottom racks have a lot of adjustability with prongs that lay down and utensil bins that are removable. The controls are pretty simple and it comes with a usage guide to clarify anything that isn't immediately apparent, no problems there. It has a timer that tells you how long your dish load will take which is nice. It connects to the LG ThinQ app to let you know about any important maintenance items and helps you find any parts or products it may need, like other LG appliances. All in all 5/5, would recommend splurging a little extra to get a high quality super-quiet dishwasher like this one. It's hard to explain just how little noise it makes without you experiencing for yourself.

I bought this dishwasher to replace a 10-year-old Maytag unit that was going out. I got it for an excellent price at the Best buy outlet and although it did not have the feature of a hard food disposer like I wanted, I still took the plunge and decided to purchase this one just because the price was so good. I have to say that I am very impressed with the performance of this unit despite it not having a hard food disposer. It's incredibly easy to clean the filter and the performance of the dishwasher is top-notch. The integrated LG application makes it very easy to use and I like getting updates on the time that it's taking for The cycles, when it needs to be self-cleaned as well as the feature of running diagnostics if there is a problem. Sometimes they're still a little bit of water inside after a cycle even after running the night dry cycle, but it's very negligible. The light from the inside are great however I wish the light stayed on the entire time the door was open. The design is very sleek and the quality of the machine overall feels very premium. Highly recommend

Whisper quiet, plenty of functions to fit your needs. Large capacity. Havent used steam process enough to gauge effectiveness other than to say it’s ok so far. Cycles are pretty long and if you want perfectly dry follow instructions for overnight dry cycle.

Had a whirlpool dishwasher that was not drying, and not dropping pod into cy le, so decided to updage. Best choice as we already had an LG fridge we loved, so getting this adds to the set. So quiet whem running cycles that i forget its on, and the steam function has dishes much dryer than any other unit. Worth the money for anyone who want a quality washer that gets the job done.

I have used many brands of dishwashers over the years and i have to admit this one truly amazed me. Quitest by far and cleans superbly, even when using the 34 minutes Quick wash cycle. I even noticed that my water bill came down some. I’ve only owned and used it for three months so I hope it continues to work wonders!

The first one delivered had a problem keeping the water on the bottom of the machine and didn't finish the cycle. Then, it was replaced by the same make and model. Since then it has been working fine, very silent and the dishes are completely shiny and clean. I follow the instructions on cleaning the machine and its parts as recommended by the manufacturer. I highly recommend it

This is the best dishwasher hands down! We have had Bosch in the past and been happy, but after looking at reviews we decided to go with the LG! It cleans better! It is easier to load. I love the 1 hour cycle, which cleans perfect every time.

So far it's been great. It's very quite. It's was very easy to swap out for those that have some handy skills. Just measure before purchase as it sticks out a bit from Cabinents/countertop. Not too bad for our kitchen. The interior light is a nice touch.

Expesinve below average dishwasher. This thing is great when it works. Problem is there is always an isssue. I have had it for 18 months and already have to call for service. It is giving an error message and won't drain. Before that, the wheels on the bottom rack kept coming off. I have had to replace 4 of them. LG just sent me a new bottom rack after all the service calls. For a dishwasher this expensive, you would think it was built like a Mack truck. But it is pretty Kia.

Super quiet! We were worried at first because there were little reviews, but so glad we purchased this! The night dry option is awesome and dishes come out perfectly dry!

It’s a great dishwasher, cleans excellent and very quiet. I also liked that it had WiFi capability.
