Large Display + Low Price + Unlocked = Good Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a die-hard Android and Samsung fan. My carrier is Total Wireless, which operates on Verizon's network. I am coming from a tired Note 4 to this (Unlocked) LG Stylo 4 by way of an unlocked Moto G6 that I only had for a few days. The display on the G6 just wasn't large enough for me, and I had trouble hearing the caller even with the volume wide open. I am hearing impaired so that may not be an issue for most unless you are in a noisy environment. So, I took the Moto G6 back to Best Buy and painlessly exchanged it for the Stylo 4. Even though the Note 4 is faster on paper, I honestly can't tell any difference in the processor speed between the Note 4 and the Stylo 4 (or the Moto G6). This may be due to all the bloatware dragging the Note 4 down. This could not be removed from the Note 4, which was originally a Verizon phone. I didn't see any apps I would consider bloatware on the Unlocked Stylo 4. Battery life seems better on the Stylo 4 as well, but then the display resolution is not as high. I love the USB type C connector. Do I miss the Note 4? Only when snapping photos, because the camera on the Stylo 4 is just mediocre and the Note 4 had an outstanding camera. I hope I never miss the Gorilla Glass on the Note 4 either. There have been plenty of times that it was dropped and I just knew it would be broken when I picked it up. Only time will tell whether the glass on the Stylo 4 will hold up that well. I note no difference in cellular reception or data over WiFi. This is my first LG Smartphone and I may just be a convert. If you are on a budget you will ultimately have to decide what trade-offs are acceptable, since everything in life involves some degree of compromise. I couldn't see paying double or triple for flagship phone that has only a slightly better display and a better camera. I doubt you can find a phone with this size display, speed and features for even twice the price. I know I couldn't and I looked everywhere.

Surprisingly well made phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned the LG G2, G3, V10 & V20, so I am very familiar with LG phones. I thought I was never going to buy another LG phone after my V10 and V20 boot looped. I wanted an inexpensive phone with a 6 inch display, an SD card slot and a slim profile. Well, I found it, and it happens to be another LG. The display isn't AMOLED, but it gets the job done very well. I added an 256 GB Micro SD for additional storage as well. Bluetooth, wireless and GPS work great. The camera is not great, but good. You're not going to get an LG G7 camera on a $300 dollar phone. The pictures I have taken so far look good. There is no NFC on this model, but I never used it on previous LG phones, so this wasn't a problem for me, though it may be for others. I've haven't experienced any lag. I get 2 days of battery life with normal use and a little over a day with heavy use. Not bad. Overall, if you're tired of paying $500 and up for a cell phone, this phone is an excellent choice. There's very little bloatware as well. I use this phone with AT&T prepaid service and I've had no issues with reception.

Awesome Phone!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a phone that didn't cost too much, and didn't have too many "bells and whistles" in it. I love this phone because it's easy to use, and has all of the things I need: a large screen, long battery life, and internet capabilities. It didn't come with any preset apps that usually clog up the screens of other phones. On this phone, I get to load what I want, and that's all that is on it. I can get a signal inside my place of work; I could never get one before with my old phone. The stylus is an added bonus - I use it to play games and to text. This is, by far, the best phone that I've ever owned.

larger screen with stylus
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stylos 4 is a good phone. Love the large screen and the pen. But the sound is a bit on the soft side. And there is only one speaker on the bottom. Sometime I mistakenly cover the speaker when watching videos and it muffles the sound.

Great Display and Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely enjoy this phone! From the size and quality of the screen..to the stylus and all the other cool features. A couple of tips would be to buy a case immediately because the back scratches very easily..and to change the sound to 'mono' in settings because the speakers aren't very loud. Overall amazing phone and very fast and quality for the price.

Excellent phone with great price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this Stylo 4 for 10 days exactly and have been very, very happy with it so far. It runs an Android 8.1, which has many features and is great and powerful; it has a 6.2-inch screen, which is big and responsive. I like the camera too, even some people complain that it isn’t good enough (picky?). Besides, the price is great. Impression: Excellent phone with great price.

A fantastic phone for the price!:)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone just out of curiosity because I like LG and I also liked the size of this phone and wanted to try the stylus. After a week of using it I decided to keep it and sell my Samsung S 8, which I used before. This phone is way better than the 300$ it costs! Of course there are compromises, but this phone has and does everything an average user needs for daily communication. I have no problem making & recieving calls, texting, browsing the web, answering emails and usind social media. All the apps I need work too. I must say, I am not a gamer, so I don´t need a powerful phone in this sense. The screen is bright enough and is not pixilated or cheap at all. Of course it is not a Samsung screen, but now I find Samsung pallete a bit saturated. The phone is very well built! Not flimsy at all and feels very comfortable in the hand and in both of my hands when I am texting. The metal frame makes it look and feel more premium than it is and the bezel is very narrow and makes the screen huge! The only thing, which I would improve is the back cover. It is made of plastic, so it is a finger prints magnet. However, people are complaingn about easy scratching, and I don´t have a single scratch after using the phone for a week without a case. The stylus is not a Samsung pen, it is very simple, but it does the job. I love taking quick notes on the go. The stylus never falls out and is easy to take out when needed. The finger print sensor is on the back and works flawlessly, I had it on my Samsung S8 and it never worked since I couldn´t put my finger on it correctly. I was very surprised when I was able to use the finger print unlock and password feature on this LG without a problem and I never miss the spot on the back cover of the phone. This phone even has a led light indicator (only one collor, red, but still) - a feature, which midrange phones usually don´t have. The camera is ok, but I must admit that nothing can beat the quality of Samsung cameras. It will do for selfies and any other everyday pictures, but not for anything fancy. The phone is slower than Samsung, but there is a trick to it: you have to switch to the developer mode and change the animation speed. It is 100% safe for the phone and it works. Just youtube ¨how to make Android phone work faster?¨. Once again, it was a big/great surprise for me and I am gladly keeping the phone. If you are an average user with no special requests for a super speedy or shinny phone, this one is for you, and for 500$ less then a premium phone with a 6.2 inches screen.

Great Value for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased a number of different phones in this pricepoint. They include the Blu XI, Nokia 6.1, Hauwei Honor 6x. The LG Stylo 4 has been one of the best phones I have ever owned to date. The phone has a good sized screen, the camera is really good and the screen response is also very good. The battery life is probably the best positive aspect to this phone. I don't even use the stylus and I didn't buy the phone for that purpose, however, this is another positive for users that would take advantage of this option. Highly recommend.

Good phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone for my oldest son. He is in college and wanted a phone with a stylus for quick notes but we didn't want to pay the outrageous price for other phones. This LG with stylus works well and it takes decent pictures. My son is not a gamer so that's not something I am able to give an opinion about. But if you are looking for a phone that works well and has a stylus but don't want to give an arm, leg or vital organ, I suggest you give this LG a try. It works well for my son's needs.

Great second phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have both the Stylo 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. I think this phone is 80-90% as impressive as the Note 9. I use both interchangeably every day. The Note is a more powerful phone with more ram and storage. But in actual use this does not make a big difference in usability. I like the flat screen of the Stylo, but am not bothered by the curved glass Note 9. I have NO problems with slowness, bad audio, etc. This is a great phone, especially at the price. The only possible negatives are that it may have trouble running some games smoothly and software updates may be slower from LG. I haven't run into that either.

Great Budget phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a Samsung Galaxy S7 , this phone doesn't disappoint. For the price you can't go wrong. I love the display size and stylus. Also being unlocked for every major carrier is a plus. I'm currently using it on Straight Talk (Verizon towers) with no complications at all. Voice quality on phone calls is amazing. The battery will last me a day and a half. Has tons of options In the settings it's almost overwhelming. Bought on sale for $249.

love this phone!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had the stylo 2 for years and upgraded to the stylo 4. I use it for work and needed the stylus as I have to take lots of notes while conducting inspections. The sale price of $100 was great! And I love that I can take it to any network in the US and take it to the UK and use it on a GSM network there. Its very fast and has plenty of storage since I added a 128g micro sd card. Well worth the money!

Great value and great camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the phone for someone that wants a smart phone without spending a ton of money. I loaded all the apps I wanted and did not have to spend a ton of money. Battery life is good. Speed is great and the camera takes great pictures. I did have to get used to the side button for on/off so I don't shut down my screen inadvertently.

Excellent Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost never do reviews, however after the problems with my old Motorola Phone, (Pure X) which was supposed to be a somewhat high end device when I purchased it years ago, I am inclined to leave a review of this phone because of how awesome it is. The phone is very fast for being the type of discount phone that it is. The battery lasts all day and then some, and I am not a light user of the phone; I unplug it in the morning and there is still 30% left late at night. The stylus is okay, though not quite what you get with a Samsung Note. The screen looks amazing, very bright in the middle of the day. USB C is nice to have. The only downside is that pre-installed software/bloatware that you may need to disable, though I suppose that depends on if you use Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.

Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is a great value. I have owned an iPhone since they first came out and given Apple's pricing strategy I decided it was time to try switching. Several people warned me that switching is problematic and so I decided to buy a low cost phone to see if I would like the Android OS. Couldn't be happier. I find the interface intuitive and have had little problems switching over. In terms of the specific phone I love the large size and the screen is great for everything I use it for: games, watching videos, texting, and surfing. I don't keep a lot of music on the phone and have learned to limit my apps - cause I don't use most of them - so I haven't had any storage issues. Its obviously not a Samsung 9 plus but if you don't need the latest and greatest process or tons of storage - and truth is most people don't - this is a great option for a very reasonable price. Bottom line, I would highly recommend this phone.
