Customers are saying

Customers admire the UltraGear 27" OLED monitor's 240Hz refresh rate, resulting in buttery smooth gameplay and excellent media consumption. The vibrant colors and deep blacks produced by the OLED display are frequently praised, with many users noting it as a significant upgrade from IPS panels. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the monitor stand's design and adjustability, and the size of the power brick. Overall, the exceptional picture quality is a major selling point, outweighing minor drawbacks for most customers.

As others have said, text readability can kind of be an issue but I've gotten used to it I think. Others have complained about it not being glossy but I don't really understand that complaint and would rather have my monitors more antiglare (which this one definitely is). I was expecting to turn on HDR and have all the colors instantly pop but I've found it requires a bit more configuring and also is very dependent on the image/game being displayed. Now for the good - this the best monitor I've ever owned. The blacks are incredibly black and the colors really shine in most of the games I play. I've also had no issues with screen tearing thanks to the great adaptive sync support options. I love being able to configure settings with the included remote too. Very happy with my purchase and absolutely worth it when it's on sale.

THIS… Is the LG Ultragear UHD OLED 240hz with .03 GTG response. To be honest, I was really excited to get this as it really checks several boxes while also being in a more reasonable price range ~$600. It seems that there finally a really good 1440p OLED panel that's also high refresh rate (240hz) on the market, so lets take a look! Unboxing the monitor, I am enamored by just how thin the sides of the monitor are! This is not my first oled, but I am always blown away by just how thin they are on the sides. The build quality is exceptional as well, and you can tell this is on the premium side of monitors (it IS still $600). I was also really pleased to see that it came with a remote, this is the first monitor I have gotten with one and to be honest I will take this over trying to find the buttons on the back, bottom or side of the monitor and then also trying to remember which button is which without turning it off. The stand is great, however, I am team wall mount so onto my mount it went (standard vesa mount). I am also replacing an LG 4k monitor so I was able to use the same power cable, and man is the power brick big! Turning on the monitor I was initially almost let down, but stick with me here for a second. My previous monitor was a regular panel 4k monitor… so it isn't as sharp and it certainly is less bright! That being said, as I booted up cyberpunk (my current addiction) all my thoughts melted away. The blacks are so… BLACK! The colors pop, the contrast is fantastic and the accuracy is sooo much better than where I was coming from. While my FPS did not really go up in cyberpunk (poor optimization), almost all my other games did and man… 200hz+ is so nice. At 250 candela, the monitor isn’t too bright, but it is certainly bright enough in games and in general usage. Something I wanted to touch on was the coating on the screen, it isn’t gloss… which was almost a thorn in my side, but given the low CD/M2, I do enjoy it. My monitor doesn’t have a window facing it, but I do have a TV over my shoulders that would glare so I really do appreciate the textured screen over the gloss. I would give a note that you should exercise your return window should you have a nasty glare as I am not sure the screens brightness is enough to overcome bright or direct sunlight without curtains. I just want to go over these honestly god tier specs before I move on, QHD, .3ms GTG, OLED with 240hz and G-sync compatible... WOW 2016 me would never believe where we have gotten to at such a decent price. The only real gripe I have on the monitor is that, while it claims to have razer thin edges (it does), the border around the screen is almost a quarter of an inch which is honestly more than I was expecting. While a headache, this is not a deal breaker for me and just something I have gotten use to. This monitor also has a minor chin on it that sticks down in the middle of the monitor, so if you have anything below your monitor you might want to make sure it all fits before moving forward. To wrap this up, this is genuinely one of the best ‘budget’ options for an OLED panel and until micro led comes around, this is absolutely the best you can get. Yes there is qd-oled and yes there is brighter oled’s out there, but they are almost double the price and 4k screens really aren’t realized at higher refresh rates due to the GPU demand. I have a 4080 and on the highest settings I was around 80-100fps, whereas with this screen I am always north of 180fps AND it is genuinely a better experience. This is why I love bestbuy though, they have tons of monitors out playing games and are often times hooked up to a PC so you can test it before you buy. That being said, Best Buy has an excellent return policy and even better customer service, so you never have to worry about buying a product that you don’t like… so there is no harm in testing it out!

Absolutely love this monitor! Its everything I expected it to do and is a huge upgrade from my IPS monitor. The colors are a lot more vivrant instead of dull, and the blacks are absolutely phenomenal and a game changer.

So with this new monitor I have moved from a LG UltraGear 27" Nano IPS QHD 1-ms LED 165Hz monitor (which is a beautiful monitor in its own right), to this LG ULtraGear 27" OLED 240Hz monitor.... The initial impressions of comparison was absolutely noticable, the colors and the level of black is just fantastic! Everything just pops on this thing, gorgeous images... There was a few settings that needed to be defined with the monitor and nvidia software, with the help of google/youtube, it wasn't too tidous but should help with any weird screen issues that 'all' oleds can produce.... I wasn't sure how much I would like this monitor but after a week of putting in alot of gaming (call of duty, rocket league, cyberpunk 2077 etc) I was happy to experience this monitor held up to anything I threw at it, having a response time of .03ms and being 240Hz really helped for some great gaming. There wasn't anything I experienced with this monitor that was problematic or hard to really understand, pretty much plug and play. not much else to say about this OLED, It definitely performs well, and with a good price I would highly suggest getting one.

This is an absolutely amazing monitor! I have a 3-screen set-up with (left-to-right) a 24" vertical, 34" 4k, and 27" vertical monitors. The verticals are older, but the center is a Samsung 4k smart monitor and I figured there's no way that this monitor would replace a significantly larger 4k. However, this monitor looks SOOO much sharper. Some of this has to do with what a computer can power. With this many monitors, everything runs more smoothly with the 1440p than with a 4k, even when cranked up to 120Hz (the best my laptop can do). I'm fairly certain that the clarity is also coming from the deep blacks that this monitor produces. Colors are more vibrant, the contrast is sharper, all colors are clearer. Plus, the difference between a monitor at 60 Hz and at 120 Hz is something you might not think would make much of a difference, but everything is so much better in the center monitor than at the sides. This is definitely an expensive monitor, but so was the Samsung 4k smart monitor. That one is a jack of all trades (more of an 8 of all trades...) while this one does an amazing job of what a monitor should actually do - clearly show images and video and be a pleasure to look at.
