I bought this because it is the only one I could find with a built-in screen protector. Definitely nice to not have to install the screen protector separately. I have dropped my phone several times already and it did it's job. Facial recognition problem was frustrating at first, but when following the suggestions I found in other reviews, the problem was fixed. Photos through the front camera seem to be a little bit distorted by the cover sometimes, but overall, not bad. It was bit expensive for what it is, though, so I wouldn't call it a great "value".

I wasn't too big on the Lifeproof cases in the past, but this one seems to be just fine! The volume and power button works fine on the sides and I like how the silent button has a little rotary motion to turn it on and off. The screen looks perfect and no issues with the touchscreen use. It made life a lot more simple not having to purchase a screen protector.

The touch screen is not sensitive what so ever, I could barely put my passcode in. The Face ID was inaccurate and not working at all. At first I thought it was the phone, but no, it was the case! Over all great for protection but if you actually want to use your phone don’t buy this! I love the quality of Lifeproof but this one just sucked.

Yikes! We're sad to hear you've had some issues with the built-in screen protector on your LifeProof. We are happy to walk you through some steps to modify your FRĒ case that should resolve this issue. Go ahead and open your case to remove your device. Lay the front of the case down on a flat hard surface with the screen protector surface facing down (the Silence Switch will be on your right). Centered near the top of the inside of the screen protector, you’ll see two small clear stickers. Using your fingernail, remove the sticker on the right (leave the left sticker in place). You may need to use some isopropol or rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to remove glue residue left by the sticker you removed. I have been a fan of the lifeproof cases since I had an iPhone 7. By far the are the best case for your iPhone. They are light weight, not bulky and durable. And lifeproof has the best warranty of you happen to have an issue with the case they will make it right.

Camera button did not work properly with case on. I will use the case on hunting and fishing trips but will swap back to another case for every day use.

We're sorry to hear about your frustration with your FRĒ case! The good news is, we have some steps to modify your case that should resolve your FaceID issue.
Step 1: Open your case and remove your device.
Step 2: Lay the front of the case down on a flat hard surface with the screen protector surface facing down (the Silence Switch will be on your right).
Step 3: Centered near the top of the inside of the screen protector, you’ll see two small clear stickers. Using your fingernail, remove the sticker on the right (leave the left sticker in place).
Step 4: You may need to use some isopropol or rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to remove glue residue left by the sticker you removed.

The buttons and silence knob work perfect. I've not had any issues using any of my wireless chargers, including out in my Chevy truck. For those who really want that 360 protection..this is your case.

The only down side is that the side button to silence the phone is a little hard to navigate and activate but overall a great option for folks that don't want to worry about damaging their phone.

Never had a problem except for the little yellow foam pad that was on the battery charger lid would fall off. The new design is much better. Also, to hear using speaker in the past required opening the battery charger lid. On the new case design this is not necessary; can hear very well.
