Overall great product last all day without needing a charge the finger print button could be a bit more heavy duty but even tossed it in the pool and ocean and it still held up

I've been a huge fan of LifeProof cases for years now, so when I got a new iPhone 6s over the holidays I was thrilled to see that they had come out with a case that also had a battery pack. It works perfectly, but there are a few issues. For one, it uses a micro USB cord to charge it, suddenly making all of your existing cords completely useless unless you take the phone out of its case. Aside from the fact that the cord is also really short, when I tried to charge my phone by connecting it to my computer the phone rapidly kept switching between charging and not charging mode repeatedly. Evidently you can only charge the phone in this case by plugging it into a wall outlet. It is also fairly heavy, but that's not surprising. All that being said, it really does add an extra phone battery's worth of charge while still offering all of the benefits of a regular LifeProof case. Hopefully the next generation of this case will work out the kinks, but as is I still love it.

What a great case! Easy to use, easy to install, charges my phone 2 times from almost dead battery, great protection for your expensive I phone. I wish it had a lightning charger instead of the micro charger though.

This case works exactly as advertised.....waterproof, shatterproof and extends battery life. It's a bit bulky but I guess that comes with the territory. For that reason, I don't use this as a day to day case. Instead, it's perfect for any outdoor activities....kayaking, golfing, camping, etc.

Great battery life and super easy to use. Typical Lifeproof quality and durability. Only complaint is that it's a little bulky and heavy compared to the regular case but that's to be expected considering the extra battery. Not crazy about the fact I can't use my iPhone charger anymore but also not a deal breaker.

My son "sold" this case to me! :-) He told me that I would probably really like the fact that when my battery was low, I could just push the button on the back and be able to recharge it. He was right! I use that function almost every day. Even though I teach my children at home all day, I use my phone a lot, from checking the weather report, to managing household finances, to being available when my grown sons on my phone plan need to reach me for free. So the battery runs down each day and I never know where I will be. The phone charger is upstairs, but I don't have to run to get it; I can push the button and recharge! The only downside is that the fingerprint ID doesn't work as well with this cover on. I know the phone will never get wet with the tight seal this cover has. I just like being able to use my print to log back in; I don't like to type my password in front of people at the grocery store, etc. I think I would have bought it anyway if I had know how often I would recharge the phone even with the trouble I sometimes have with the fingerprint reader.

I love this case that gives my iPhone 6 the protection of a life proof case along with extended battery life. I bought it for a trip to NY when I knew I would be using the 6 for directions, as well as just information, pics, etc. It worked superbly. As I ran out of juice while touring at the end of the day, I pressed the button on the back and the phone charged back up, enabling me to use the phone well into the evening without finding a plug in. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the extra weight. However, given the protection and the extended battery life, I can recommend this if you are willing to put up with the extra weight.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. I had a lifeproof case on my previous IPhone and Ipad and really like them. I wanted a case that was waterproof and provided extra battery so I went with this one. After installing it I made a phone call and the person could barely hear me which made me very frustrated that I spend that much money and it didn't work. I tried re-installing it with no luck. I went to the lifeproof website and didn't get the right answers for fixing it, but remembered a review that I saw that talked about it. I went back on some reviews I saw and it said to take the case off, blow into the audio ports on the case like blowing out candles. I did that, put the case back on and it worked perfectly. The only cons I have is it comes with a charging cable and you can't use the apple one or others, but that's the perk of having a battery pack in the case. You can purchase more charging cables from the lifeproof website for $10/each. I saw reviews of touch id not working well, but mine has been working fine. There are times I have to do it a couple times but not a big deal. The screen protector is also easily scratched. All in all the case is worth the $.

Waterproof case. Good to have if you are always exposing your phone to water or dirt. The case was made to protect your phone, not to look fancy. Phone feels a little bit heavier with the case and it may not be easy to take off for some people (not the best option for those who like to switch from case to case). The battery backup is really good to have for those times you forget to charge your phone and when compared to the Mophie case it is actually smaller. The case comes with its own screen protector (having an additional screen protector on the phone would cause the case to have a bubble which could be annoying while typing on touch screen).

Both of my teenage sons got the Lifeproof external battery case for Christmas. One loved it and used it because he could be on his phone all day and usually night and not have to charge it. It kept his phone well protected and he didn't have any screen cracks or cracks to the phone. My other son did not use his because it made his phone too big and bulky. People often comment on how heavy it makes the phone. It's a trade off. It does what it says and adds more than twice the battery life and protects the phone well.

Yes, this case did extend the life of my phone battery. It also wasn't that thick of a case, considering the external battery. It takes a micro USB charger and I recommend that you use the one it comes with. The weight is what turned me off about this product. Its lethally heavy if it hits your foot. I did drop it several times without any breakage. The case did show wear and tear on the outer edges that were starting to ravel off but I am hard on my phone.

A co worker referred this to me, alittle surprised to see how it works, but works very effectively. The charge gives more than 75% when down <5%, but the case is tough, my phone has taken several spills, drops falls from me getting used to the magnet, but has proven to work. With this charging case, I can go 2 days w/o fully charging my phone and I use it quite often.

Lifeproof makes a great product. I use my phone on the water kayaking and tracking my hikes. Having a backup battery is extremely useful to me. Only drawback is you need a different cord when recharging the phone when it is in the case. Your Apple cord will not fit the plug-in to the case.

PROS.....Every one knows the brand including my self, so i bought it without a second though. Phone is well protected and the case is well made, material seams good quality and durable so you know it well last. extra battery feature makes this case ideal for the short battery issue known on iPhones. CONS.......Bye, bye slick sexy looking iPhone (grandma said that this case was not lady like). This case makes the phone twice as thick and heavier and you most carrie the headphone adapter to use it with corded headsets, also the charger port is the android style connector (mini usb), so you won't be able to use car accessories/connector to hook it to you car stereo with lightning cord, you most remove case for this. No able to add a glass screen protector like the older lifeproof case but phone is protected anyways. Personally I'm ok with this issues but the one I really dislike is the fact that you really need to hit the screen of the phone harder in many occasions, like texting and such and the finger print scan is also effected by the plastic. If you can deal with this issues, buy the case your phone will be well protected.

After being on the phone and fumbling to keep my phone charged throughout the day, I finally found my perfect fit! I am a contractor, so I needed something rugged. I am in the swimming pool business, so I needed something water resistant. But more importantly, I am IN BUSINESS, so I needed something that would not leave me hanging. This is the product! Rugged and adds enough charge throughout the day that if you are on your phone non-stop, you won't be left begging for juice! Ugly Pool Guy Two Thumbs Up!

Pros: Good protection for device. Additional battery life is useful. Cons: Makes the phone quite bulky as compared to a normal life proof. Must use micro usb cable to charge phone. Conclusion: I would buy this case again, I just wish it had lightening support and wasn't quite so bulky.

I am a teacher who always uses the phone to send messages and take videos/photos of my class doing activities. The battery backup is amazing. I can go two days without charging the phone. The only con is that it is heavy. However, I usually carry it in my back pocket so I don't notice the weight too much. But, for two days of battery life, I can live with it. My students have dropped my phone and no damage. The case is completely "LifeProof." I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone.

This works great to give extra power between charges. Just be sure that your charger is rated at least 2W or it iwll not charge the battery pack. You will need to set up your iTunes snyc to wireless as I couldn't get it to sync over the microUSB cable.

Bought this case for my girlfriend who is always forgetting to charge her phone.... Now she will never be without a dead phone. Since it is fully sealed at times you have to release the pressure inside the phone otherwise the person cannot hear you.

It's durable but pretty heavy to me, charges great, at least 1 full charge from 0-100, possibly a little more. My only complaint is that you are required to have the life proof charger, the regular mini usb charger does not charge the case at all.
