Customers are saying

Customers value the 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch for its easy setup, plug-and-play functionality, reliability, and affordable price. Many appreciate its ability to support multiple devices simultaneously without any issues. While some customers would have preferred more front ports, the compact design and overall performance of the switch make it a popular choice for expanding wired network connections.

I love this splitter! I have a game room with my partner and we both play on different consoles. I’m on PC and console so I need multiple ethernet ports because WiFi doesn’t cut it when we are playing online! No slowdowns and I have 2gb internet, most of my devices are seeing the max output of this splitter. It’s amazing!

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has several different devices that need to be hooked up to Wi-Fi. We needed it for security cameras. It works great. Our Wi-Fi carrier was able to connect it quickly and easily . Product is small size so it doesn’t take up much space at all.

Great product! Easy plug and play plus its POE power of ethernet so if you have a device with no power access available this thing will power it smooth on up. How cool is that? Im a gamer so i dont do the lag thing so i hard wire console and PC to get fastest speeds with minimal delay. If you have a security system or tv's and not a lot of commerial use this is perfect for home or business!

Bought this to expand the number of available device ports in a room that is now being used as an office and game room. Very simple to setup out of the box and easy to store out of sight.

Love this inexpensive switch, I had to take back a netgear 5 port switch , cause it kept slowing my speed , but not this switch , if your device can handle the speed you paying for it sends it, no issues at all , this a great switch, plug and play device

    It's a no-nonsense gigabit switch

This is the cheapest 5-port gigabit switch you can buy at Best Buy, and is among the cheapest you can get elsewhere. But Best Buy usually has this one for slightly cheaper than anywhere else, and you'll get it now. It works well, the brick is sufficiently long enough, and it mounts to the wall simply enough. This is my second purchase of this switch - my previous one is for my home office (which is where the photo is from) and I've been using it for more than a year.

I like this switch. The lights on this unit not only tell you when devices are connected, but also what speed, which is greatly appreciated. The power light lets you know that the unit has power, which is a must for troubleshooting remote installations. The only thing holding back a 5-star review is that the power plug is on a different side than the network ports. Since this unit isn't designed for rack-mounting, this makes routing & tying off cables at a desk awkward because not all the cables are routed to the same place on the unit.

    Play and Play- Durable Construction

Literally plug and play. Plug in the power cable and an Ethernet cable hooked up to the internet and it’s ready. That simple and easy. It comes with a quick start guide that is really helpful. Construction is fully metal and durable. There is a blue LED that is pretty bright on it so keep that in mind when placing it. There’s very dim lights that tell you what ports are using internet which is handy. It has some nail/screw hanging holes so you can hang it from a wall or under a desk and easily remove it if needed. All the Ethernet ports are on the front (input and outputs), the only cable that goes into the back is the power cable.

Works as if its not even an extender, my wifi router only has one port for the Ethernet cable. I tried so many other brands but there was too much lag. This one worked beautifully I can finally have a stable wired connection and game in peace.

However, Linksys has always been a reputable hardware brand for me, whether routers, switches, or hubs. They provide very good quality hardware at relatively decent prices. I used to be a phone tech support for a major computer brand and I was in the wireless networking department, so I've had some experience with this application. Linksys always seemed to be the least problematic of all the components I worked with, which is why I chose this one to begin with.

I’ve needed an Ethernet port switch for some time now because I play and stream games a lot to viewers and also work on my computer everyday. This minimizes a lot of the lagging and dropping connections to my various computers and game consoles when they were being used. If looking to make a more solid connection that connects to multiple devices, I suggest you use this Ethernet port switch.
