Customers often highlight the excellent quality, reliable wireless connection, and impressive battery life of the G613 LIGHTSPEED keyboard. Many appreciate the comfortable key feel and ease of use, along with the quick response time. However, some find the keyboard's size and the non-detachable wrist rest to be drawbacks. A few users also mentioned the keyboard's weight as a minor inconvenience.

Not a good keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 1.5-2 years it got a double typing problem (in my case letters T, E, R and O). After quick googling it turned out the problem was (and still is) quite widespread for this model - a lot of people start experiencing the same issue after ~1 year. There's no software fix, it's a bad design/engineering problem, i.e. hardware. Logitech is aware of that and simply replaces such keyboards. I wasn't lucky - it started 1 month after warranty period had expired. Will stay away from this brand in future. Re the keyboard itself - it's clunky and has a rather long keypress distance. The feeling from typing is not satisfying - feels muddy/mushy, too deep. The G-buttons positioning is horrible - be ready to constantly press G1 instead of Escape and G3-G4 instead of Tab/Caps Lock. I like the full size numeric pad and standard location of the ins/del/home/etc block. Media buttons are kind of useful (not a big fan of those in general), more importantly they don't impact regular work (like G buttons described above). Wireless connection is stable. Uses regular AAs (no internal battery) which last long. Also note that this keyboard is wireless only, no cable at all; keep spare batteries nearby just in case. I'm a software developer and a gamer - basically someone who spends 12 hrs a day before keyboard - trust me, this one is NOT a good one. This is not the first time Logitech screws up like this (probably because they produce their own keys, instead of buying them from a good producer, e.g. Cherry?).

Lasts about 2 years then it breaks.
|Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought this in 2021, didn't pay too much for it and for the price I paid it felt like it was worth the investment. It is a good keyboard until the dreaded double type issue pops up, look it up on Google. This can be due to dirt, but it also has something to do with how the circuit board flexes in the center. Overall it's great while it works but it will fail and if it is out of warranty? You're donee. Don't ever pay full price for this product.

A Lovely Disappointing Experience
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard is reactive and feels great when typing but didn’t last more than a year. Nothing happened to it and is very disappointing. I would absolutely avoid this keyboard. I now question whether to buy another item from Logitech considering their product quality is now a sham, a thing of the past.

If 'Spring Ping' bothers you - avoid this keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used many keyboards in my day, many mechanical keyboards at that, and none have ever had the horrible 'spring ping' sound like this keyboard does. I'm not talking about the traditional mechanical keyboard switch click - that noise doesn't bother me at all. In this particular keyboard, they seem to have perfected the right combination of hollow plastic, thin board, and low resistance springs. When you type on the keyboard, or even tap the keyboard body, the springs resonate and make a pretty unbearable 'ping' or 'wang' reverb noise with every key press. This noise may not bother everyone, but it's pretty unbearable to me. I can even hear it through my headset while music/audio is playing. I only used this keyboard for about an hour before I started researching fixes (which involve deconstructing the keyboard usually) or alternative keyboards that don't have the same issue and prepping to return it. It's really unfortunate because, otherwise, this keyboard seems to be a pretty solid one functionally and at a good price point for a wireless mechanical keyboard.

Nice keyboard, very brittle keys and poor CS
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this keyboard because I have owned a number of logitech devices over the past 10 years and all of them have performed great. I still have a mouse that works flawlessly that is 10 years old and is used often! So I was ok buying a more expensive keyboard to replace my previous logitech wireless keyboard which also lasted 10 years. I loved this thing out of the box but it is a huge keyboard. I love the way it types and feels and it just feels solid. However, I had to bring it into the office after working from home due to COVID-19 restrictions, and stored it in my backpack. When I got to the office, one of the number keys was depressed and would not come back up. I took the key off and the housing which holds the spring had broken and would not work properly. It seemed like an easy thing to repair so I reached out to Logitech. They informed me they do not repair their products and since I damaged it, the warranty is void and replacement isn't an option. So now I have this expensive keyboard with the #five / percent key (can't type it....) that do not work. I am only giving this a 2 star over a 1 star because I do like the keyboard. But the fact that it is so prong to break the keys on top of no way to repair it, I cannot recommend this keyboard unless it will never leave your desk and you never drop anything on it.

Disappointed in Logitech
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this for about a year and a half now. A few months ago, the keyboard started double typing letters. The problem has gotten worse in the last month. It had been intermittent but now is happening regularly. This appears to be a common problem amongst this model. This is a deemonstration oof the issuues that it hhas when typing. Tese typographical errors are not my bad typing buut thee keyboard doing what it wants. This gets very annoying when ttrying too type an eemail or word document, or even commmmunitcate in a videogame or over discord. For the first time, Loogitech has let mme down.

Known keyboard issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked until it didn’t. Purchased the two year protection plan and of course a week after it expired experiences double click issues (hitting a button once and letter displaying multiple times) apparently it’s a common problem with this model and honestly most wireless Logitech items. Will not be purchasing anymore Logitech wireless items as had an issue with a 230$ wireless headset just a couple weeks after purchase. Would not recommend.

Metal clanging, couldn't keep.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an overall good keyboard with one HUGE issue which is why I returned it. Every key click has a distinct metal clinging noise due to the aluminum body. This is very annoying and very loud and borderline unusable. I validated this noise by watching youtube reviews and heard the same thing. For the good things it does, it has a bluetooth switch button where you can go between your PC dongle and a bluetooth device with the switch of a button. Made texting during work much easier but still could not get over the metal clanging noise.

Could have been nice....
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would not recommend this keyboard. I bought this after testing the g915 wireless keyboard in the store, and really enjoying the tactile feel of the keys. Unfortunately, while the feel of the keys was still enjoyable, the model I purchased had a terrible resonating vibration that caused the entire frame to 'hum' with each keystroke. After about 15 min. of use I couldn't take it anymore so I returned this and bought the g915 instead. the g915 is grossly overpriced, but is by far the best commercial keyboard I have ever used.

Posted .Hi imose, sorry to see you were unsatisfied with the G613 Gaming keyboard. But at least you tried and traded up to the G915. That is the best keyboard Logitech G has done in my opinion! The GL low profile keys make every keystroke feel amazing and responsive. Hopefully you enjoy the g915 and it lives up to your expectations!

Doesn't belong in an office.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a gamer. My new employer used this keyboard for office work. Keyboard is fine, other than I keep hitting G6 when I want to hit the Ctrl key or G1 instead of Esc. The G hub software is terrible. All their documentation is terrible or non existent. I ended up hunting down and installing the old Logitech Gaming Software, as there isn't a way to convert the old to the new - hows that for supporting their gamer customer base? It's kludgy. In a months time I had to uninstall and reinstall the "profiles". I had to add delays, although where to add them is a guess. The language is not a language, it seems to just be recording keystrokes in some indiscernible shorthand. I have no idea how to actually program these keys, thanks again to the lack of documentation. I ended up reprogramming everything in VBA. Now all I have is a keyboard with extra keys that are in the way. 2 stars because it does work as a wireless keyboard, assuming you can figure out the pictures they call "installation instructions" and find the USB receiver hidden in the battery compartment.

Posted .Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write your review of the G613 wireless keyboard. I'm sorry to hear that you're not enjoying the keyboard in your office. As you mentioned, it is a gaming keyboard, so it is not really intended for office use (although many offices use gaming keyboards due to their upgraded switches and ergonomics). Not recommended for typing over an extended period
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used it for about a month now. I am noticing that the keys have a metallic ting at the end. All the keys do not behave in a consistent manner. The tab key behaves differently than the shift key and the enter key and so on. Not recommended for typing over an extended period of time. I've also noticed wrist pain ever since I started using this keyboard. Wouldn't attribute the pain immediately to the keyboard as I also set up my whole workspace, along with my table, mouse and chair so there maybe other contributing factors. But I somewhat feel a constant tension in my wrist when typing, so it maybe the keyboard. Overall, quite disappointed with the quality of the keys. Maybe good for gaming but definitely not recommended for programming and typing over an extended periods of time. Wish I could return it but I'm just over a week out of return window. Will BestBuy still offer a return? Let's see

Don't Buy This
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was after a great wireless keyboard because I assumed I'd seldom game on the couch/TV instead of at the computer desk. This seemed like a great option at the time; minimalist, macro keys, non-clicky keys. Well, after over a year, this keyboard was driving me insane. It would randomly register two keystrokes when typing; e.g. "thaat drive was exciiting". It was VERY frustrating and no matter what fixes the forums recommended, it still happened. Thank goodness the 2 year Geek Squad protection had me covered to get rid of this thing. Look elsewhere for a wireless keyboard.

Maybe for gamers only?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll be brief, I wanted a mechanical keyboard to replace my magic keyboard as I am on a Mac. I actually like the Magic keyboard but I want something with more feedback. The “G” key(s) placement isn’t ideal IMO but I can see how having these macros keys close for gaming is desired. My biggest gripe is that on every key press there is a resonance from inside the keyboard. It sounds like a metal twang. It’s subtle but definitely present. If you are using this keyboard in a quiet environment this could be a deal breaker as it was for me.

Posted .Hi, sorry to see you weren't completely satisfied with your G613 Gaming Keyboard. The gaming keyboards aren't just for gamers; they're for anyone! I'm using a G915 TKL keyboard to type this response and I don't PC game ;) The G keys can be programmed to do things in the workspace like fill in a password, an excel equation, and even certain actions like put the computer to sleep to name a few. While this keyboard isn't the quietest like you mentioned due to the mechanical keys, we do offer some with a Linear key switch that is a bit softer when in use. Hope that helps!

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to replace my Corsair wireless gaming keyboard and this was the only thing Best Buy had in the same price range. They no longer sold the wireless Corsair. This keyboard is 2 times as heavy as the Corsair and wider. The arm rest was not removable. This keyboard also requires batteries and was not rechargeable. They key clicks were good and the connection was good. I am sad to say That I had to purchase a new Corsair from Amazon and return this keyboard.
