Good keyboard overall with just a few complaints
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard quality is amazing. I did not expect this type of durability, nor did I expect the cold, hard touch of metal. It's very thin, sleek and is a bit heavier than expected (although that's not bad). The RGB lights are pretty nice, too. Lower light settings definitely decrease battery drain, so keep that in mind if you don't need the lights blazing at full power. It's also really nice to clean as the keys stick out as opposed to some keyboards where the keys are sunk into the keyboard. There are some complaints, however. The tactile keys feel somewhat mushy, but you get used to that and it isn't much of an issue. Definitely more effort required to push a key than my G213 Prodigy, however (but much less travel). The rubber keys feel kind of cheap as well and don't push straight down unless you give it more pressure. I wish that they would have used USB-C for the connection. It's not much of a deal if you use it wirelessly or with a dongle, but it would be nice to see as a lot of devices are now on USB-C instead of USB-micro. Also, a compartment on the keyboard for the dongle would be nice if you wanted to take the thing with you and not have to worry about losing a small yet important thing. It's quite expensive for a keyboard, but if you can afford it or it's on sale, then I would recommend giving it a try.

Great product with some caveats
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the keyboard for a few months now and I can honestly say it is one of the better feeling keyboards I've owned. The materials/build quality are great, and despite them not using more mainstream switches, Logitech's own switches still feel nice. Battery life has also been very good. However, there are a few drawbacks which prevent me from saying it is a five-star product. Firstly, the software experience leaves much to be desired. While it isn't as resource heavy and prone to crashing as other companies peripheral software, it could use some much needed redesigning. I am of the belief that the consumer shouldn't have to Google or go to YouTube to find out how to operate software for a keyboard, and I had to do that multiple times to find out how to change lighting effects, changing lighting profiles, etc. While it wasn't a horrible experience in the end, it could definitely use some refinement to be more user friendly. Which brings me to my second issue with the keyboard... It uses Micro-USB instead of USB C. At first glance, this may not seem like a big deal, but if you are trying to market this as a premium product, you probably should use modern standards for charging/data transfer. I honestly can't remember the last time I used microUSB, and it was genuinely shocking to me that Logitech would use it instead of USB-C given the market that this keyboard is designed for. Instead of me being able to use my phones charger or any other device that uses USB-C, I have to make sure to keep this Micro-USB cable around and it just seems both wasteful in a way, and cheap. This is made worse by the fact that other Logitech's premium peripheral's like their lightspeed mouse, also uses Micro-USB instead of USB-C. Lastly, the special characters and keys that have multiple functions (like brackets, hashtags, etc) while backlit for their major function, are not backlit for their secondary function. The backlighting is nice, but not complete for some of the keys. I would semi-frequently find myself looking for the ampersand or dollar sign keys, but because they aren't backlight like their primary function is, it can mean looking down and squinting to find where they are. All-in-all what I'll say is this, Logitech continues to make good quality products and I'm happy with my purchase, but in the future, dump Micro-USB. It's a dead connection type. Apply the backlighting effect to the full key and put a little more work into the user experience for the keyboard's software.

Amazing keyboard, but not perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this keyboard for a while now and so far I can easily say it's the best keyboard I've ever owned. It's extremely expensive though, and for the price it sells at I expect it to be more or less perfect, but it's not quite that. The biggest issue I've had with it are accidental keystrokes. The problem is the key switched register a stroke before the switch is actually actuated. I have the tactile switches and can get keystrokes while very lightly pressing the keys, well before the tactile bump. There have been times when simply resting my finger on key causes a rapid repetitive keystroke to register. This hasn't been a big issue for me when working, but has cropped up while gaming, where I frequently rest my fingers on the WASD keys. It doesn't happen enough that I would consider not using this keyboard, but again, if I'm going to pay this much for a keyboard I don't want to have problems like this. The other cons with this keyboard are nitpicky. The use of micro USB instead of USB type-C on such an expensive keyboard is pretty ridiculous. micro USB needs to just die and go away. The keyboard is also very heavy, if that's something you care about. This keyboard is not bad though, far from it. It excels at everything except what's mentioned above. It feels amazing to type on and I have no problems with missed keystrokes. The keystroke issue I mentioned above never happens when I'm typing normally on it too. The RGB backlighting is understated in a way that makes it tasteful, the battery life is extremely good, and I love the brushed gun metal finish of the aluminum case.

Must Buy Keyboard if you are willing to spend
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say this is one of the best wireless gaming boards out now. I do not get any interference from my g502x and other devices. The build of the keyboard is good. And the keys themselves have not faded on me as of now. I purchased one two or three years ago and it still works like new with no keys fading and no issues. Price might be a issue and why I rated this 4 stars.

Excellent “EXPENSIVE” investment
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let’s get it clear from the get go. This tactile keyboard is expensive but I had a lot of Best Buy rewards which helped a lot. I could have gone with the g815 which is in the same price range as the k95 platinum. But $50 dollars more gave me something I wish the g613 had... rgb and lightning. I use this with my pc and iPad. The fact that I can have 1 instead of two keyboards and reduces clutter on my desk is awesome! The build is solid and screams quality in terms of the chassis. The keys are yet to be determined in terms of longevity but feel great. This is a beautiful keyboard that’s all I can say and the battery life is impressive. I had a g513 which I gave to my nephew (kept the wrist rest though LOL) and I hate to say but this keyboard feels better. Would definitely recommend if you can get it but that price was steep.

Great keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is very easy for me to use. The feel of the keys themselves is helpful in terms of how well I can use it. I suffer from a little carpal tunnel and some numbness in my fingers, so having them be able to register soundly on these keys is extremely helpful. The on/off button (saving charge), wireless functionality, and programmable shortcuts are all very effective. As is the back lighting when it’s nighttime. I’d recommend.

Great Costly Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros - Wireless, comfortable Cons - When using with a Mac the spacing of the bottom left control keys feels a little awkward, expensive Overall this is a well crafted product and the battery life is surprisingly great. I use this daily for work and I've been happy with it so far. With the odd spacing sometimes I can get my fingers in the wrong place. Of course it is not really advertised as a Mac keyboard so I will not deduct any points for that. I will only deduct 1 star for expense. This thing is crazy expensive, but at the same time they know they have one of the best on the market.

I like it, but switches arent for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Switches are a bit unusual, but i attribute that being used to the Corsair K70's Cherry MX blues. These are quite similar to MX Browns, but with a shorter actuation distance. I probably be exchanging for the "clicky" version, but due to no fault of this one. Lightspeed is super fast, and charge lasts a long time from what i have experiencecd so far. Lights are bright and easy to use. Switches FAST from BT to Lightspeed, no worries about using 2 devices.

Top keyboard for the price of a laptop.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a top of the line keyboard, at the price of a low end laptop. The keyboard is fantastic. Sturdy, well made, great rgb, and a decent program to back it up (especially if your using other logitech peripherals). The price is tough to swallow. I personally think it pays for itself compared to some cheap keyboards out there, but could you get a just as good keyboard for a cheaper price? Yeah.

Highly Satisfying Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very satisfying keyboard; not too loud of keys, but feel nice; great lighting; the membrane config keys offer a pleasant contrast to the keyboard keys; and the sound wheel isn't tactile, but it still feels good adjusting the volume with it. The only drawback is that it is a bit heavy, so be advised if that concerns you.

Great full size, mechanical, wireless keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product. Sturdy and clean, I really enjoy using this keyboard. I mostly use normal sized keyboards, and with this sleek thin frame caused some initial complaining. It compares to typing on a laptop instead of a standard keyboard. After some time and adjusting the position on how I typed, it became one of my favorite keyboards. If you are looking for a full size, mechanical, wireless keyboard, this is the product that you need to try.

Great keyboard for lightshow.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best keyboard i have ever had. I like setting it to different colors and watch. They didnt get good instructions on how to setup, i had to play around and figure out, still learning. That is why i gave a poor rating for "Ease of Use." I wish the symbols above the numbers lit up too. The tactile is not loud either. Hopefully Logitech will fix those issues in the future.

Very nice keyboard but pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked at all available wireless keyboards and this has the best quality of all offered here at best buy. It is easy to sync up and battery lasts forever. The only problem I have is the g keys on the left. I still haven’t gotten use to them being there and sometimes hit them when looking for shift or escape.

Great keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great keyboard! The “G” keys on the left side of the keyboard still to this day distract my fingers and I mistakenly push them instead of the shift and ctrl buttons. I love the lightspeed functions and switch between devices all the time easily and quickly. I would buy this keyboard again.

Tactile doesn't feel tactile.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a gorgeous keyboard. It feels solid and very well made. It is beautiful to hold. However, the tactile switch doesn't feel tactile. I can't feel any weight on the keys, so I guess I'll have to go back to clicky.

Great keyboard, just one minor issue
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard is great, however I do agree with some of the other reviewers in that I wish that all of the secondary characters on the keys had LED backlighting. It isn't a huge issue for me, since 95% of the time I don't look at the keyboard when typing. That being said there are times when I need to look down at the keyboard to identify a key. The markings for the secondary keys such as !@#$ are a dark gray and are difficult to see, if you can see them all. It really depends on the lighting. My previous keyboard was a Logitech K800 and all of the characters on the keys were backlit - given how expensive the G915 is, I would expect the same on this keyboard as other less expensive models. Again, not a deal breaker at the end of the day but it is definitely disappointing and seems like a bit of an oversight on Logitech's part.

Got it for a steal
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item is priced at $149.99 during Black Friday week. Tactile switches are great. The key caps leave a lot to be desired. They easily get dirty and need to cleaned constantly. There is not a light for NUM lock or scroll lock. Which forces me to turn on the on screen keyboard to see if it’s on or off. A minor inconvenience, but very annoying. Overall an excellent value if you can buy it at the same price as I did

Fantastic keyboard, little expensive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing build quality and super responsive even when wireless. I just chose to return it to get the linear version of the keyboard. It's a bit pricey, but it seems to be made of more premium materials than my old G910.

Outstanding editing keyboard, but a bit pricey
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this keyboard for a friend who does a lot of video editing. He loves the more compact design and the keys, and overall loves the experience. This keyboard is awesome, except for the price. Main reasons we went for this one over his other Logitech was because of the size, and number of customizable buttons (and macros). If you can swing it, you won’t regret this keyboard.
