The Logitech K585 is a space-saving, quiet, and comfortable keyboard. I have been using this keyboard for a few days now and in this review, I will cover my thoughts on this keyboard and whether I would recommend it. First, I would like to cover the keyboard’s design. I did enjoy the low profile and how quiet the keys were for typing. This keyboard is comfortable and the layout of the keys is something similar to what you would see on a laptop. I am in the IT industry and am usually on a computer for some time so having something that is both comfortable and quiet has certainly been a relief during the evening. There is a slot on the top which is supposed to be for your device but unfortunately, it falls short of that function. The slot is too thin for large phones with heavy-duty cases. Without the case, my device does fit into the slot. But, taking the phone case off every time I want to place my phone into the slot, isn’t too feasible, as a result, I likely won’t be placing my device there. On the other hand, the slot does fit pens, pencils, USB drives, or USB cables if needed. Logitech offers two ways to connect to the keyboard. The first way is through the USB receiver. The second is through Bluetooth. Two devices can be connected at the same time if needed too. I do like how seamless switching from devices can be with the gray function keys located on the top row. Another feature this keyboard has to offer is a long battery life. This keyboard doesn’t have a rechargeable battery but rather uses two triple-A batteries. Logitech states 24 months of battery life which I’ll have to take their word for since testing would take a while, to say the least. Anyways, the batteries do come included if you’re wondering. Programmable function keys are also available through Logitech’s “Logi Options+” software. Overall, this is a wonderful keyboard. The keyboard has a long battery life, is comfortable, and is quiet. An excellent choice for someone who works from home or is on a PC for a significant amount of time throughout the day. The only con with this keyboard was the phone slot. It won’t fit large phones with bulky cases but if your phone isn’t too large or you don’t use a phone case, the slot should be able to fit your device. There is also no backlight if you are looking for that. Ultimately, if you need an inexpensive keyboard that is both quiet and comfortable, I wholeheartedly recommend you try this one out.

This is a nice little keyboard, it was very easy to set up (Windows, Apple, Andriod & Linix). I would have given it 5 stars if the built in stand for phone and tablet was wider and had better support. It's not quite big enough to fit my iPad air with no case.  And the wight of the tablet tips the kbd over (no issues with a smaller lighter phone.  But with a tablet device you must move between kdb and touch tablet. Not a big deal for me as I plan to use it with a computer and raspberry Pi.  But my first usage was trying multiple devices. The K585 keyboard is very thin, much thinner than anything Logitech has produced previously (I have 5 or 6 K830s which is still my favorite, but it does not support multiple devices, and is not a full size keyboard (so more of an apples to oranges comparison).  Sitting on your lap it has minimal flex, and the keys move with little effort.  The keyboard is not backlit.  And you can pair it with either Bluetooth or the logitech USB RF adapter.  I used to find BT was a little slower response, but since BT 5, I can't tell the difference.  The unifying USB RF Adapter can be stored under the top of the keyboard (see photos).  The keyboard uses 2 AAA alkaline batteries (included) they claim it will get 2 years of battery life.  In using it as a Mac kbd I found some compatibility issues (fn key did work as expected, so using it with the Swift development environment is almost impossible). It is also difficult to get the upper cover back on correctly, it's made of a softer plastic, which makes aligning the little connector teeth more difficult than it should be, you must align all of the teeth at the same time to get it to reconnect, fortunatly I don't need to remove it often. For Windows and Linux use I found the keyboard a nice comfortable layout, can't say the same for Apple.

The keyboard has a good weight to them but still lightweight enough to be portable. The keys have good feedback but is super quiet. The fact that you can use either the wireless dongle or bluetooth to connect to your device. Also a cool feature is that you can switch between the wireless device and bluetooth device such as a phone or tablet with the buttons on the keyboard. I have to knock one star off for the slot that is supposed to be used to hold your phone. If you have a case on your phone, forget about it. The slot was designed for use of your personal device without a case. If you like to use your phone or tablet naked, than this is fine. If you have a case on your phone or tablet, you might be disappointed. If you ignore the cellphone holder, this keyboard is pretty good. Having a full numpad plus being this small means this keyboard will probably travel everywhere with me. Its one of the nicer keyboards to use and the slim profile is great. Just don't get it for the phone holder slot.

Keyboard was lightweight, connects easily to the I-pad and reasonably priced.

I bought this keyboard to use with my MacBook and iPad. Getting it set up was easy and connecting to the devices is very simple. It is very compact considering it is a full-size keyboard but that does mean that it takes a bit to get used to typing on it since the keys are closer together. It feels very sturdy and it is heavier than it looks. I don’t like that it looks very plastic but considering the price it is worth the purchase.

I bought this keyboard because I was looking for something quieter with the ability to switch between devices and works well for my needs. I like the shorter width of the keyboard since my desk doesn't have a lot of room - and that it moves the keys above the arrows above the number pad. The key presses feel solid and the unifying receiver works great. A few things I didn't like are: i can't lay it completely flat against desk, the keys have a slight texture, the keys arent as quiet as I thought they would be - probably because of the plastic material, and it would have been nice to have the ability to switch to a third device. Overall it's great if you can find it on sale.

A great compact full keyboard. Only drawback is that there's NO LIGHT to indicate when CapsLock is on, and the keys are NOT ILLUMINATED. Otherwise, this is a good bluetooth keyboard.

The Logitech - K585 is very good since I can connect 2 devices at the same time, this is a point to consider, what they can do is a rechargeable version either with USB-C or micro USB input and also release a version with a keyboard mechanical with RGB lights, black version and the side where you put the cell phone can be bigger and they add some legs at the bottom to make it higher. The most beautiful thing is the keyboard and the presentation of the box, well arranged, it has no colors when you open it And what I would expand is the addition of devices and the rest of the touch 10/10

I bought this keyboard to use with a mini PC. The keys feel good and the layout is good. It has both Bluetooth and 2.4mhz wireless connections but the instructions are a little difficult to understand because it is just a graphic flow chart. The mini PC uses Ubuntu.

Functions as described. The keys are comfortable and quiet. I do wish I could see when the caps lock is on with a light.

Super easy to pair with TV and Firestick so you don't have to use on-screen keyboard - just don't lose the dongle.

Overall, seems fine. Do wish it had an icon or lighted key or some other way of knowing the caps lock button is on. Slot to hold cell phone is useful.

The wireless Logitech keyboard I had on my workbench finally succumbed to the dusty environment in my garage. No idea how long I had it, but it did it’s job so we’ll that I was convinced to get another Logitech keyboard. One unexpected bonus is the slot in the front that holds my phone.

This keyboard works great with my surface pro and Surface laptop. One keyboard, two devices.

Key board didn’t satisfy my requirements. Return policy based on who’s the current manager on duty. Totally unsatisfactory. MY MISTAKE. Shop Amazon

Decent keyboard for the price. Highly recommend to others

Everything works great. I bought this for the the little slot that holds your phone but the iPhone 13 Max (with case) did not fit into the slot. The thickness was too big.
