best mouse I've used. I have another model, the M720 also, I use with desktop. But this one seems a little better, lighter and not as much surface area touching my desk. Battery seems great, I think it lasted about 9 months, maybe 1 year. comes with a off switch when putting it in my backpack to maybe conserve battery. the software can be installed and gets updates from website, and it's always asking for updates, maybe 2 a year. but the software is also great, comes with options to big picture to quickly see what buttons I can assign to shortcuts. I bought another one for my Aunt, it's that good. the white part also seems to stay clean and white. and thw switching feature, if I all the sudden want to use this with my desktop, (regularly for my laptop), it's fast and always works with one tap. I hope they continue to make this model. the cheapest I've seen it is ...always 30$ I think. Looks standard old mouse, but good quality and the white central bar make it easily not to confuse with other mouse.

The Logitech M585 is an inexpensive mouse that performs well. The "forward/back" thumb buttons are well placed and the scroll wheel had good tactile feedback. Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy and the Logitech software installed without a hitch. The inclusion of the receiver for non-Bluetooth systems is a nice touch. I haven't used it with two computers simultaneously but plan to in the future. Another great product from Logitech.

I love this mouse, especially for the price. The ease of use between 2 devices is smooth and very fast. The only thing is the mouse click is a little loud, but I don't mind it myself.

Love this! Love being able to easy work between two computers with the click of a button. AND not needing a dongle to connect a little USB into my Mac (that has only USB c) that was a pain! The Bluetooth only connection (no little USB needed) is the best feature, and it’s way cheaper than some others that are marketed as Mac specific because of the lack of USB on macs.

This is a really, really great mouse. This is the 2nd one I've ordered/owned. I love the capability to Bluetooth it to two laptops. I've always used the tilt of the wheel to function as CTRL+C and CTRL+V; and I use one of the side buttons as CTRL+X; and, one to open my calculator. I believe this has a two year battery life! The Best Buy price was 1/2 of what I paid for the 1st one I bought. Absolutely the best value for the money anywhere. Best Buy delivered it in two days!

Wanted to get this mouse so I wouldn’t need to use laptop mousepad all the time. Bluetooth connection was simple and fast and remains connected all the time. As good as more expensive Bluetooth devices I’ve had in the past. Very happy with this purchase.

Very nice mouse for the price. I got this with a coupon for well under $20. There are better options for those willing to spend more bucks but for this price this has to be on of the top choices. I use this for everyday use and for gaming and it works great. I do get some bluetooth stutter when I have multiple devices connected to computer via bluetooth. If that happens to you the problem is 100% fixed by using the USB attachment that fits nicely inside the mouse. I would purchase again. I have normal sized hands (man) and it works well. If you have large hands might need larger mouse. Programmable buttons are great and function appropriately. Logitech lets you change the programming depending on the application.

The Logitech M585 is a fairly inexpensive mouse that packs some really neat features. It's nice to be able to go between my Mac and PC with relative ease and drag and copy files from one to the other, via wi-fi. It actually makes transferring files between the two ecosystems relatively easy. Having built-in Bluetooth is a really nice feature and setup is a breeze. The cool features really stop there. As with most Bluetooth mice, there is a fairly noticeable lag and delay, especially when gaming. The contour of this mouse can also make prolonged use uncomfortable, as I've noticed my hand cramping up from time-to-time. The mouse wheel feels kind of cheap and loose, which can make scrolling kind of a hassle. Overall, it's an extremely basic design that packs some pretty cool features. For the price, I'd say it's not too bad.

Inexpensive and does the job. I needed a new mouse after bad luck with my last one. I wanted to be both Bluetooth and Logitech wireless so I could use it more place. This works really well and perfect to carry with my laptop.

I love this Bluetooth mouse. No need to attach cables or a stick in your laptop. It saves you a USB port!!!! Great feel when you hold the mouse and work with it. Got it for a great price at Best Buy.

I dual-boot my laptop between Windows 10 and Linux. I hated having a "wireless" mouse, but I also hated having to reconnect my Bluetooth mouse every time I switched operating systems. With this mouse, you don't have to! It stores two Bluetooth connections and requires only the tap of a button to switch between the two! More than that, the mouse is comfortable to use, feels sturdy, and tracks well! More importantly, if you catch it on sale, it doesn't cost much more than a regular Bluetooth mouse! This is one very happy customer!

I recently purchased the Logi K860 ergo keyboard and fell in love. But I didn’t love the mouse I had been using didn’t match!! I purchased this one and it fit the bill - the texture was a little weird getting used to since the one I previously had was more of a glossy smooth surface. This one has a lot more texture. I never thought I’d use the buttons as much as I do! Seriously a good reasonably priced mouse! Would recommend.

Great alternative to the higher priced mice. This one also allows for connecting to multiple devices and either through USB receiver or bluetooth.
