Lovely mouse
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is OKAY. My customized buttons always revert to default atleast 4 times in a 12 hour shift. Quite annoying but other than that I love the mouse a lot.

Best mouse ever? I think so.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse because my old wired mouse started to act wonky. (I think a broken wire was making intermittent contact). I didn't think I needed a wireless mouse but I liked the features and shape of this unit. (1) I am here to tell you that if you have been on the fence about getting a wireless mouse, just do it. (2) This mouse is the nut. I didn't think I'd use the back and forward buttons much if at all, wrong! I use then all the time once I I got used to them being there. Also being to switch the scroll from free roll to detent is a plus. I can't leave if I didn't mention the side scroll with the wheel too. I love it. If I had any complaints, it would only be if it was a little bit bigger. It's not a "mini mouse" by any stretch, it's just I have a big hand and any mouse could be larger in my mind. With that said, this mouse still is the best mouse I have ever used. Thanks Logitech, this M705 is a winner!

Comfortable quality wireless mouse!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I have been very happy with this wireless mouse from Logitech that I purchased to replace an old wired mouse. It's very comfortable in my hand and easy to use. It's also nice not having to fight around with a wire since it has an optical wireless design that requires 2 AA batteries. Not sure how long the batteries will last but there is an on/off switch on the bottom that will allow you to turn it off if it's not in use. I have been leaving it on all the time. It's very quick and responsive when you move it. It also has excellent wireless range.

Great quality mouse for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this isn't a high-end ergonomic mouse or one used for gaming, this model is perfect for daily office use. I know longer have to worry about a chord. And my hand fits comfortably over the mouse. The two side buttons allowing for easy toggling between web pages is a terrific feature along with the button below the wheel that adjusts scrolling speed. Upgrading from my now retired $8.00 mouse was great idea. One doesn't need to splurge on a high end mouse if the use is only daily scrolling and navigating web pages and documents.

Comfortable With Great Battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this mouse for use at work after my old wireless one started freaking out. This was pretty easy to setup and get going. It's really comfortable and I have wrist issues so that matters. Battery life has been fantastic on month 12 of daily use and haven't replaced it yet. I really like having the forward/back button and the additional "squeeze" button on the thumb. Only reason I am docking a star is because when you switch from between having the incremental/click on the scroll wheel versus to smooth scroll it get's too easy. I like to have free scroll on most mouses but this one is too fluid and makes it hard to avoid over scrolling.

Great, comfortable mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did some research before deciding on the M705. This Logitech model came up on my search as the number one wireless mouse of 2016. I haven't tried other models, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it has been great so far. I've been using it for two months, mainly for school, and trust me, you will be far better off with a mouse while in an MBA program. The M705 is a bit pricey, but I see it as paying for comfort--it's not too small, but not too big either, like a giant ergonomic mouse. The sensitivity settings are sufficient, though the scrolling sometimes gets out of control (or it could just be user error). Overall, I would recommend the M705.

Very durable and customizable mouse
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse was an excellent device that I’m very satisfied with. It helped me complete many assignments and tasks very efficiently. It is also very comfortable to use and has excellent durability. I have also taken advantage of the 5 programmable mouse buttons that are provided that can be customized into any key of your choice which served to be a great asset as well.

Wirecurtter is right! It's AWESOME
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse is fantastic. It actually does have an insane battery life: the application keeps reading 1000+ days. The fit and finish is solid; it fits my palm / claw hybrid grip well. Sensor looks solid: it's gliding just fine on top of a leather-covered desk. It uses 125Hz polling (likely for battery life); works fine on my 60Hz monitor. The scroll wheel's dual modes are fantastic. Very smooth <-> ratchet. And no, my fingers have never accidentally switched modes. Yes, the USB transmitter can be hidden inside the mouse underneath the battery cover (there's a slot for it). The little "sensor" button on the bottom left (that activates an "alt-tab" like interface in Windows 10) is HUGE for productivity. Really useful, when you have 10+ windows open. All in all, a solid mouse. Light enough to be mobile, heavy enough to feel to feel solid in hand. The negatives: in the beginning, I used to side scroll accidentally instead of middle-clicking. Side scroll doesn't seem to work in most places, so I just reassigned it to forward-back on websites. Now, I'm much more "precise" with middle click vs left scroll vs right scroll. Otherwise, I love it! :D

Amazing, but could be improved
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this thing. Very comfortable and functional. I almost exclusively use the Forward and Back buttons for navigation now. I like the two options for scrolling. It's important to note, however, if you're looking for something with smooth scrolling, this might not be for you. The two scroll wheel settings are the classic ticking or frictionless. I find the speed of the wheel without the ticking to be a little too fast, but it's definitely helpful for jumping down or back up a window. Most important though, which I hope Logitech is able to fix, the programable buttons don't always function in other software. I have yet to find a game that will recognize the buttons, and occasionally software will just not acknowledge what is assigned to the buttons. Overall, great quality for the price, but could use some more support.

Excellent Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is simply the best mouse I have ever used. It is very accurate, it has several buttons to use, the battery lasts a long time, and it is very comfortable in your hand. It is the perfect size for me, and it's not too expensive like some other mice with less features.

Good size
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have smaller hands but this works great for me! Have not had hand strain thus far and it is comfy to use. Works great too, a little on the sensitive side. For reference, xbox series x controllers get uncomfortable for me to use after a few hours of gaming and the older, larger controllers were uncomfortable within the first hour of gaming.

Logitech for Life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now, I preface this with that I've been a Logitech customer for 15+ years. Whenever I need to replace my mouse and/or keyboard - I ALWAYS go Logitech. I work from home and do a lot of PC gaming - so I think it's safe to say I put a lot of miles on my keyboard and mouse. This mouse has held up for quite some time (and still going) through the click abuse of some of my online gaming. It's perfectly comfortable and ergonomic. However, I think one of its best traits is its battery life. Changing the batteries happens next to never - I might change two Duracells out of this maybe once a year - if that. I can't remember the last time I had to switch the batteries. Overall - a top-notch mouse.

The Coolest Mouse I've ever used!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortably under the palm of my hand, this mouse, the Logitech - M705 Marathon Wireless Optical Mouse with 5 Programmable Buttons, is easily moved across my desk surface. No Mouse pad is needed. Its features are unique and just what I needed to navigate the information that appears on my computer screen.

Good normal sized mouse
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech mice are the ones to beat, and this one is no exception. I have been using Logitech since soon after they were founded, my company has also provided me with a range of other mice, I have always switched back to Logitech. I bought this one to use with a Linux laptop for working from home, it is a huge improvement over the supplied HP mouse. It feels solid and the controls are convenient to use. The scroll wheel has nice action and the navigation buttons fall easily to hand. Accuracy and tracking are good too, you can use it on most surfaces. And it was reasonably priced.

Perfect mouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the m705 mouse because I had been using the m720 mouse which is identical except the m720 mouse had a 6th button on the side (gesture button) which I did not program but would select if I squeezed the mouse to hard. You could disable programming for this 6th button in m720 mouse but I used it with work computer so was unable to install mouse app and therefore could not disable button. So it would drive me crazy when it would be activated like 5 times an hour But this review is about the m705. Like I said it’s identical to m720 without the pesky gesture button Comfortable in hand, responsive, and about $10 cheaper than m720 It’s also got fast scrolling button so you can scroll line by line or click the button and just spin the wheel and list or page just flies to the end fast. Not many mice do that function today

Nice Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this along with a Logitech wireless keyboard to take advantage of the Unify feature. It is very comfortable in your hand and easy to use. "As long as you are right handed." On the other hand or left hand I should say it is a different story. My wife hates it as she is left handed! Battery life is reported to be three years. I can't say just yet but I suppose it will be as good as the rest of my wireless devices. Tracking is nice and smooth and the scroll wheel can be set to detent or free spinning for quick scrolling. Overall this is an excellent mouse that I would have no trouble recommending!
