Mouse of the year
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is above all mice. I wanted one that wasn't too big or too small, with a good click feel. I had some that had no click feedback, this one is good and not too loud. The feel is quality. Battery lasts forever! Still on first charge since picking it up in Dec. I wanted a nice different color besides black, was hesitant on the white thinking it would get nasty looking. Nope, it looks great granted I'm not an auto mechanic. Easy to wipe off smudges. I'd get out again. Computer auto found it, simple setup.

The Mobile Mouse Perfected
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you've used any of Logitech's previous MX series mice, then you know to expect top-tier comfort, usability, and style. If you haven't, then you're in for a treat. The MX Anywhere 3 is Logitech's latest portable mouse designed to go wherever you work, and it comes at a perfect time as many of us shift to working in new settings at home and on various devices. PROS: - Easy setup. The mouse connected to both of my Windows computers (one desktop and one laptop) instantly using the included USB receiver. The mouse is also Bluetooth-compatible and should work on any OS, including Mac and iPad. The real power of this mouse is in the Logitech Options program (free download on Logitech's website), which allows you customize the buttons, pointer speed, scrolling direction, and so much more. - As with previous Logitech MX mice, my favorite feature is the "Flow" feature configured via the Options program. After installing the Options program on two. computers -- and ensuring that both are on the same network -- this mouse can essentially combine two machines into one dual-monitor setup. Just like if you had two displays side-by-side, if you move the cursor through the right side of one screen to the other, the cursor passes over to the other computer on the opposite side. You can even copy text and files on one machine, move the cursor over to the other machine, and paste them. There is a slight delay when pasting, especially with large files, but it's so much more convenient than emailing or swapping an external drive. This is a great feature to have when working from home with two laptops. - Incredibly comfortable. The silicon side grips make this mouse easy to use for hours on end, and it's just the perfect size to be comfortable and small enough to through in a backpack or travel bag. - Another excellent feature: the different scrolling modes used by the center scroll wheel (called the MagSpeef wheel). You can choose from either ratchet (a slight "click" feedback while scrolling) or freespin, which allows you to spin the wheel as fast as you want, and it will keep scrolling until you stop it. Freespin is perfect for when I need to scroll through large web pages or documents. - The mouse seems to work on practically any surface. I've tried a wooden desk and even a clear glass desk - both worked flawlessly. - Long battery life. Logitech claims 70 days on a full charge. The battery is rechargeable via USB-C cable, so you don't have to worry about having spare batteries lying around. P.S. - Thank you, Logitech, for finally moving away from microUSB! CONS: - None! OVERALL: For me, the MX Anywhere 3 is the perfect mouse for working around the house or on the road. If you frequently switch between multiple computers or tablets, you will especially enjoy all of the advanced features and settings available in the Logitech Options program. Even if you're not a power user and won't use those advanced features, this mouse still offers incredible battery life, comfort, and customization options -- all in an awesomely compact size. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Posted .Hi ryanmcv, thank you for the great, in-depth review! The MX series is our very best in class. For a smaller, more portable mouse, check out the MX Anywhere 3, for the best in comfort and ergonomics, see the MX Vertical. For the trackball fans out there, we also have the MX Ergo. - Will, Logitech.

Lived up to all of my expectations.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review._____ *Pros: -Light, compact, and easy to find space for it inside any bag. -Very ergonomic and comfortable design. -Very responsive buttons with a perfect level of clickity-ness. -Excellent scroll wheel. -Logitech Flow actually works well and seamlessly. -LONG battery life. -Charges up via USB-C. -The Logitech Options app is intuitive to navigate and set up custom keyboard shortcuts. _____ *Neutral: -It's a bit heavier than my MX Anywhere 2S. _____ *Cons: -None I've been a big fan of the Logitech MX Anywhere series for years and the MX Anywhere 3 met all of my expectations. I liked the previous-generation MX Anywhere 2S so much, we have two in the household - one for myself (black) and one for the wifey (white). The build quality and fit-and-finish of the Anywhere 3 is excellent. As you run your finger across the contours of the mouse and between the seams, it feels really nice and flows very well. There are no harsh edges and no part of the mouse puts any strain or annoying pressure on your hands. The buttons are clickity, responsive, and predictable. The scroll wheel, which has been updated from the Anywhere 2S, not only rotates with more precision and fluidity but it also looks better cosmetically. The Anywhere 3 also excels in the everyday point, drag, and click operations. As expected from Logitech who's been in this business for years, everything was top-notch - accurate pointing, smooth gliding, no erratic jumpiness or lags, and overall smooth performance. Hardware-wise, the only slight negative is the increased weight. It's still lighter than most other computer mice with a similar feature set, but the difference was immediately noticeable when gliding it across my mousepad and when picking it up. To get the most out of the mouse, you have to install the Logitech Options app, which will open up fine-tuning options (pointer speed, smooth scrolling, scroll force, SmartShift sensitivity, etc), custom button shortcut configurations, and the ability to enable Flow. After ignoring Flow for the first year of owning my MX Anywhere 2S (thought it was just a gimmick), I tried it last year and it was great. With my wifey's laptop and mine side-by-side, I was easily able to jump my mouse cursor from one PC to another in a seamless fashion. I don't use it very often but it's great to have when certain scenarios call for it. Overall, I'm quite happy and satisfied with the MX Anywhere 3. The improvements from the MX Anywhere 2S to the 3 isn't huge and mostly subtle. The Anywhere 3 looks a bit better, feels a bit more comfortable, and the battery life is longer. If your Anywhere 2S is still holding a decent charge and everything works well, then you can probably skip the Anywhere 3. But if you're looking for a light, portable, and very ergonomic mouse with a fabulous battery endurance, then the MX Anywhere 3 should be on the top of your list.

The Best Gets Better
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the MX Anywhere 2 for a few years now and generally it’s been my favorite mobile mouse with my only real frustration with it being that it didn’t have a middle click. Logitech has always been my go-to for mice and keyboards and I had been hoping they’d release an MX Anywhere 3 ever since the MX Master 3 came out last year. Now that it’s here I can say that I’m extremely happy with almost everything they did with the new mouse. The design is a bit plain and that bums me out a little, but overall this is a really high quality mouse that earns its MX moniker. Addressing the major changes between the 3 and 2 (and also 2S), the design is the first thing I noticed. It’s a single color accented by the metal scroll wheel and much more rounded off compared to more angular looking two-tone Anywhere 2. I still like the look overall and it fits with the MX Master 3’s aesthetic, but I wish it had a little more personality. The Micro-USB port has been switched to USB-C, which is great. You can also middle click on the scroll wheel now (!!). The scroll wheel doesn’t tilt left and right for horizontal scrolling anymore, but if you hold down one of the side buttons and scroll you can still get this functionality. It’s a little clunky, but the option is there at least. You also get a higher resolution sensor from the 2 to the 3 (1200 DPI vs. 4000 DPI, though the 2S also had a 4000 DPI sensor). The overall size is about the same, maybe slightly more compact, but still just as comfortable. In my day-to-day I’m using the M720 Triathlon for work and the G703 Lightspeed on my personal PC. I immediately noticed the difference from switching from the M720. Tracking is super smooth and using the same USB receiver I haven’t noticed my mouse getting ‘stuck’ at all like my M720 sometimes does. The sensor is 4000 DPI and by default looks to be set at 1000, which felt about right for me. The scroll wheel automatically switches from a detented line-by-line scroll to free-wheeling based on how fast you spin it and this works really well (the sensitivity of it can also be adjusted in Logitech Options). You can also manually switch between detent and free wheel scrolling with the button above the wheel, but I never felt the need. The scroll wheel and general just feels really nice and I appreciate the metal material choice here. The mouse isn’t quite as comfortable on my hand as the M720 or G703, but for its size I think they did a good job with the ergonomics. The Logitech Options software also lets you load profiles that change the behavior of the mouse for different applications. In Chrome for example I noticed that clicking in on the scroll wheel and scrolling activates the zoom function, which is super handy. Other applications like Microsoft Teams repurpose the buttons near your thumb for audio/video control instead of forward/back. I’ve experienced these application-specific profiles on the Craft keyboard, but they feel much more thoughtful in Anywhere 3. Battery life is listed at 70 days, which is long enough to not ever really need to think about it. You can still pair with up to 3 devices via Bluetooth or Logitech’s USB receiver. I’ve been using Bluetooth on my laptop and the USB receiver on my work PC and both connections have been solid. Logitech also has a little trick in its software called Flow that lets you use the mouse across multiple PCs at the same time, which is handy for anyone working with multiple devices at the same time. I think Logitech nailed it again on this mouse and I’m happy to have something portable enough that I can really get some work done with.

Best scrolling wheel in the portable world!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MX Anywhere 3 is certainly small. Being used to much bigger mice, it did take me some time to adjust. Keeping in mind that this is designed for taking it on the go, I got used to it rather quickly. Still, it fits in my medium-size hands and in my laptop bag. Although it is light in weight, it retains a quality feel to it. The scroll wheel is chromed. It is certainly a nice-looking mouse. The top is made of smooth plastic and the sides have rubber silicone grips, which is nice to have on such a small device. The underside glides easily across several surfaces, including vinyl mats, smooth wood, and even glass. The scroll wheel feels like it is in a good position as I do not need to over-bend my index finger to move it around. The side buttons are also easily accessible without feeling too small or cramped. The mouse is charged via USB-C and features quick-charge. Logitech claims that the battery lasts up to 70 days on a single charge. Great for that portability function. You can pair the mouse up to 3 devices -2 to USB dongles and 1 via Bluetooth. Switching is easy by pressing the button underneath the mouse. I did experience a few connectivity issues while in Bluetooth mode, so I had to be rather close to the PC to avoid this issue. As far as functionality, the MX Anywhere 3 covers all the basics and then some. The laser is precise on any surface (even on cloth!). At 4000 DPI, I experienced no hiccups, even when I played a couple of games meant for precision clicking. The buttons are responsive and satisfying to click. They do make some noise, but I would rather have that than mushy, unresponsive quiet buttons. Now, scrolling is where this baby is above the rest. It just feels so good to scroll in free-spinning mode at high speeds on never-ending spreadsheets (which unfortunately I must deal with at work). Whether in smooth or friction mode, the wheel is noticeably quiet. Also, I downloaded Logitech’s Options app. While it is not a revolutionary concept, it allowed me to customize several options such as button actions and scroll sensitivity. You can also select functionality templates for the most popular apps and browsers. The biggest feature of the app is “Flow”. “Flow” provides the ability to switch between computers and share files on the fly -like having two monitors at once. I must say that it was a bit difficult to get it to work properly and when it did, it was just OK. Still, it is nice to have. In the end, I think the MX Anywhere 3 really is the MX Master 3’s little brother. While a bit pricey for a portable mouse, its build quality, responsiveness, battery life, and that glorious free-spinning wheel make this a great value and earns an easy recommendation from me.

Another great mouse from Logitech
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech Anywhere mouse is probably the best all-around mouse on the market. I have 3 of these and use them all the time for my personal and work laptops. In terms of fit/feel/performance, I haven’t yet found a mouse that worked so perfectly in all aspects. In terms of comparison, there’s not a whole lot of changes between the MX2 and MX3. Size/shape/weight are pretty much the same between both models. The only major difference I can see, size wise, is the footprint, or bottom, of the mouse. The MX3 is a bit shorter than its predecessor however it still feels the same in your hand. The scroll wheel on the MX3 is all metal whereas the scroll wheel on the MX2 was metal with a center plastic ring. I like the metal look/feel on the MX3 so it’s a nice little upgrade from the previous model. Scrolling also feels a bit crisper and more precise on the MX3 I noticed. The middle button on the mouse changed from a square to oval shaped one. I find this a bit easier to press the button, both in a good and bad sense. When scrolling, your finger will naturally scroll down the mouse and sometimes I hit the button on accident sometimes. Another improvement on the MX3 was the side grips. The MX2 had a fractal look to it which felt more aesthetic than functional. The ridged rubber on the MX3 feels better and actually works as a grip (as it should). I don’t really need to comment on performance as this mouse, just as with the MX2, will work on any surface and work accurately. I’ve used the mouse on a granite countertop, work desk, glass and hardwood floor. It just plain works so, thankfully, no change in this department. Battery life is almost negligible. I just recently charged my MX2 after using it for about 3 months (off and on). Manufacturer description states this battery should last a little over 2 months and I have no reason to doubt that. One minor thing I wished this mouse had was a compartment to store the USB dongle. It’s kind of irritating to carry both around in my bag as I usually lose the dongle and need to search for it for a good 5 minutes or so everytime. Not a huge deal breaker or anything but other mice I have that do have dedicated compartments for the USB dongle just makes transporting them easier. So, overall, if you already have an older gen mouse like I do, I don’t think the MX3 offers any huge, must-have improvements. The MX3 does work across multiple PC’s so if that’s a feature you need, this would suit you well. I don’t personally utilize this feature at all and don’t even know if the MX2 is capable of this. However, if you have an older clunker of a mouse that’s in need of an update, the MX3 is definitely a good pickup for you.

Mighty Options
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.MX Anywhere 3 is a great travel companion for anyone who needs a mouse that holds charge for several days, extremely precise on different surfaces and not cluttered with a ton of buttons. Scrolling wheel has an amazing feature - free wheeling. Just spin it harder and it will turn into "free spin" making scrolling thru a long document a breeze. There is also a top button next to the wheel to change to the "free spin" and back. What makes this mouse special? Logitech Options software! It comes with a lot of pre-defined settings that turn 2 side buttons of the mouse from a regular back/forward into custom buttons specifically for the active application. For example in Zoom - side buttons can act like Mute and Start/Stop video, just make sure Zoom is a currently selected application. Mouse is very portable, can be connected to any device with a USB-A port via included Unifying receiver (common for Logitech products) or it can connect via the Bluetooth. I had no issues connecting it to iMac using the Bluetooth connection.

ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE PRICE!!! GREAT FOR ON THE GO!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing mouse!! I've had this mouse for a little over a year now. I bought it on a whim as I was building my PC. It has great accessibility options, the side buttons are so handy, the weight feels really nice while using it, and my goodness-- the battery life when it's connected via wireless bluetooth is something I have not experienced til I bought this mouse. It's so versatile too, I use it for work, for gaming, and even drawing digitally!! It's a dream on laptops and ughh I can go on and on. Sooo worth the price I love my pink mouse so much. I decorated it with stickers so it's very much well loved.

Coast Scrolling is a new must-have for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work from home as a Windows software engineer so most of my work happens on the keyboard, with lots of text on the screen. I bought the MX Anywhere 3 ("Pale Grey") because I noticed that I often "borrowed" my other mouse which is it's predecessor (MX Anywhere 2S). The scroll wheel of the MX Anywhere 3 works a bit different from the old one. But it didn't take long to realize that it works much BETTER! On the MX Anywhere 3, the metal scroll wheel lets you accurately scroll line-by-line, and you feel each line as you move the wheel because of the ribs that engage with (probably) a little plastic or rubber wheel inside the mouse. What's new is that by giving the wheel a quick spin, the mechanism disengages the ribs and the scroll wheel starts acting like a flywheel that keeps coasting and coasting until you put you finger back onto it. I had no idea how useful this feature would be to scroll through long listings of code quickly! The scroll wheel mechanism has been improved from from the previous model. The old mechanical way of toggling between line-by-line and smooth scrolling is gone, but you can now use the button beneath the scroll wheel to electronically toggle smooth scrolling on and off. The wheel itself serves as middle mouse button for those that use it. You can't push the wheel sideways to scroll horizontally, however by holding one of the side buttons while turning or spinning the scroll wheel, you can scroll horizontally and that actually works better than pushing the scroll wheel left and right on other mice, because now you can scroll horizontally across e.g. a wide spreadsheet, just as fast as you can scroll vertically. I didn't make any changes to the default settings because the default settings are pretty much exactly the way I like it. If you disagree, you can customize the buttons and the scroll wheel in many ways with the Logitech OptionsPlus application. Swapping the left and right main buttons is possible for left-handed users of course, but if you would like to swap the functions of the scroll wheel button and the center button, you can. You can let it scroll in reverse direction if you prefer "touch screen style" scrolling. You can change the scroll speed and the sensitivity of the "SmartShift" feature that senses how fast the wheel is spinning to disengage the ribs on the wheel. You can change what the side buttons do; the default (when not scrolling horizontally) is the usual "Back" and "Forward" for web browsers and similar programs. You can even use different customizations for different applications. Though the OptionsPlus application is not strictly necessary if you don't need customized settings, however I recommend installing it. Not all buttons may work without the application. When you pair the mouse to the computer for the first time, you have to be on the Internet to download the driver. The driver installer shows a pop-up window that where you can click a button to download OptionsPlus from the Windows App Store, for free of couse. The MX series of Logitech keyboards and mice let you use the awesome "Flow" feature which is also part of OptionsPlus. With Flow, you can control multiple computers at the same time, and switch between computers by simply moving the mouse to the edge of the screen, or by hitting one of the host selection keys on an MX keyboard. This works with Bluetooth as well as with the wireless dongle that's included with the Windows version of the MX Anywhere 3 mouse. And if you log in to your Logitech account in the OptionsPlus program, all your customization settings are shared between all your computers so you only have to do your customizations once. The MX Anywhere 3 has a built-in rechargeable battery that can be charged with the included cable that plugs into the USB type C port in the mouse. I've used this mouse for longer than a month and it still hasn't needed a recharge, so I can't tell how long a charge lasts. Based on my experience with the old mouse, a full charge can last for several months, even with daily use and leaving the power switch on while not in use (You probably only need to switch the power off while traveling). The mouse will tell you it's running out of power by lighting up the LED in red instead of green. Also, the OptionsPlus program will pop up a message on your screen when the mouse runs out of battery. Just a few minutes of charging will put enough "juice" back into the battery to work for hours, or if you're not bothered with the very flexible cable, you can leave it plugged in to charge it while you use it. The cable in the box for the Windows version of the mouse is USB A to USB C, but you can use any USB type C cable if you wish. By the way, the Apple version of this mouse is the same price but it comes with a USB C to USB C cable instead of a USB A to USB C cable, and the Apple version also has no "Unifying" Dongle included, because most Apples don't have any USB type A ports anyway. As far as I understand, the mouse in the "for Apple" package is exactly identical to the Windows version, and can be used with Windows too. And of course the Windows version can be used with Apple computers.

The BEST portable MOUSE
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the Logitech MX line of mice are the best products on the market. Whether for portable gaming on a laptop, or productivity on the go, the Anywhere mouse cannot be beat. if you looking for a mouse for the house or office i would recommend the big brother MX Master MS3. the extra buttons let you take more advantage of the great Logitech "Options" software. Options lets you customize what each buttons does in windows or mac, and allows for changes to pointer speed and acceleration - one of my personal favorite features. Battery life is also great. uses 2 AA batteries, but will run on just one in a pinch.

Great Bluetooth mouse
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Logitec mouse/keyboard combo that used a USB adapter. I loved the set, but the mouse went bad due to a AA battery leaking in it (my fault). Since I only have one USB port I could not get a mouse that needed to use a USB adapter. This mouse goes through the Bluetooth in my laptop so I was able to continue using my keyboard with this mouse. The mouse I had was a Logitec with a super smooth wheel. This mouse has an even better wheel. The charge in this mouse lasts me a couple of months with 10 to 15 hours of use a week. I am glad I do not have to worry about batteries leaking anymore. This feels like it will be my forever mouse.
