Super LOUD and ANNOYING but is good for on the go

Been eyeing this for a while and have been using M330 Logitech mouse ($18) for years. I splurged and got this for like $80 all in and it is a complete downgrade. Who can use a mouse with loud annoying clicks such as this? It’s unbelievable that a company with quiet click technology would release something like this into production in the year of our lord 2021. They should only be producing quiet click mice for mice over $50. Major character flaw Logitech

Treat yourself to a great mouse

It was more expensive than I planned on spending for a mouse, but when you think about using it EVERYday for hours at a time, it really should be everything you want in a mouse. That is it bluetooth, optical and customizable is great. I also love that it is rechargeable - doesn't require batteries. The charge lasts for months at a time, scrolling in smooth and it looks great.

Lags/stutters on a Mac.

I am running Mac Studio M1 Ultra with Ventura 13.1 and the latest Logitech Options. Regardless, the mouse frequently lags/stutters with a choppy pointer. I've tried all the suggested remedies but at this point this has become a huge inconvenience. I have no choice but to return this mouse to Best Buy for a refund. I would not recommend this product to anyone using MacOS.

Cursor wabble

Posted .That sounds challenging! Turn off or unplug the mouse from the computer and try cleaning the sensor on the underside with compressed air or a cotton swab and keep other electrical wireless devices away from the USB receiver to avoid interference.

Only works intermittently

Posted .Hi, thank you for sharing your experience with the MX Anywhere 3. I'm sorry that you are experiencing difficulty and that the mouse only works intermittently. If you are connecting the mouse with the provided Unifying receiver you might try and put it in a different port on your laptop/computer. If you are using the mouse by connecting with Bluetooth, try and forget the device and reconnect it to see if that clears the issue. Please keep in mind that if you are using the device in an environment that has a lot of devices giving off signal it can impact the connection of the mouse. RIght click too sensitive.

I am constantly right clicking unintentionally. They need to make the right click button less sensitive. This is actually a problem on most of their mice now. I returned the mouse.

This mouse has amnezia

I almoust returned it about three times. I'm really sorry I didn't. BTW, tried with Mac and Windows with same result and this is with Logi Options software.

Disappointed

Also when you move cursor from last location you much left click before or you will be dragging a high lighted line with you.

Not high on Logitech MX Anywhere mouse

I had to try multiple setup changes in order to get to work properly for me. Out of the box, it was way too sensitive. When I looked at maps, it either zoomed in too much or zoomed out too much.

Short Height

I decided to return because it is not ergonomic and looks like they made it like a sport car shape rather than thinking how hand will grip it. I got pain in my wrist.

Posted .Hi Raoul, thank you for sharing your experience with the MX Anywhere 3 mouse. The mouse can be paired to your MacBook via Bluetooth. You do not have to use just the provided USB receiver. In order to pair the mouse via Bluetooth press the button on the bottom of the mouse so that the light is flashing on "2". Then go into the Bluetooth settings of your MacBook and select MX Anywhere 3 from the list of devices. It will now be paired to your computer for you too use. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. Slippery Silicone Sides!

However, one big flaw is that the sides with the wavy pattern in silicone material are very SLIPPERY. The mouse will slip down your grip constantly and if you grip too hard, you'll accidentally press the side buttons and you don't want that! You need to be able to micro-lift the mouse constantly without it slipping thru your thumb & the last two fingers. What an unfortunate design flaw. Will return for a more affordable mouse that offers solid side grip.

The MX Anywhere 3 features the MagSpeed adaptive scroll-wheel with SmartShift. You can still scroll horizontally with your MX Anywhere 3.
This is done with a two-button combination: Press and hold one of the side buttons and scroll with the wheel simultaneously. NOTE: The horizontal scroll is ON by default in your Logitech Options software. You can customize this feature in the Point & Scroll tab in Logitech Options.
