Customers are saying
Customers are satisfied with the comfortable keys, adjustable backlighting, and excellent battery life of the MX Keys keyboard. Many appreciate the ease of use and compatibility across multiple devices. While some find the keyboard heavier than expected, and occasional connectivity issues have been reported, the positive feedback on key feel and overall quality outweighs these concerns. The price point is noted by some as a potential drawback.

Key broke within 2 months
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was happy initially with the keyboard during the first almost 2 months of use. But, now one of the number keys has come out and I hardly use those keys. So, it is troubling to me. I had to charge the battery only once in last 2 months,(I don't use backlight) and it lost connection to my Mac once, so had to re-set it up.

Excellent hardware; software, not so much.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent but build quality keyboard. Works great with my Macs - individually. The Logitech Options software and Flow tech are the rub here especially relating the mouse. But the Flow software and using this keyboard across multiple systems is a key selling point. I’m now using this keyboard and mouse on a single Mac having been exhausted by the poor Logitech Options software. Yet I might keep it because the keyboard is so solid and I love the lights especially the hover proximity lighting and the great feel of the keys. At the same price as the Magic Keyboard, is this worth it? Likely not without the added benefit of flowing between systems.

A bit of a compromise.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Something of an emergency purchase on my part. On the upside, it has a surprisingly solid build quality and a good key-feel for a membrane keyboard. However, unless you use the included “Unifying Receiver” dongle it seems to be Bluetooth only, even if you have it plugged in via USB. It only comes with USB-C-to-C cable as well, which is somewhat problematic if, like me, you got it to replace a failed keyboard on an older Mac that lacks USB-C. I suspect I would have been better off with the Matias I had initially considered but ruled out because of shipping time.

Not 100% Apple iMac or M1 compatible.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The GOOD: has an excellent and solid feel with typing. The extra keys are very handy as well, love the lock screen key. SOLID BUILT. The VERY VERY BAD NOW: Not 100% Apple iMac or M1 compatible. Mac users will understand this, as this keyboard will not work with boot keyboard startup commands, such as, hold shift down to boot in safe mode or most important Command and R keys for recovery mode. I have had other BT keyboards, like the Logitech K811, works flawlessly with boot key sequences, and all UBS keyboards. If you continue with this keyboard, someday you will need another keyboard, like an inexpensive USB on hand one day, just to install or recovery or do a clean install of the OS. Wish battery life with backlite keys was longer, PS, Yes, I have tried for a week now, and was suggested to hold down keys just after the chime, does not work with may tries

Posted .Hello BoBaLa. Thank you for taking the time for your review of the MX Keys for Mac. I completely agree with your evaluation of the keys have a great feel and the solid build of the keyboard. As for the boot key sequences, you can use a unifying receiver with the MX Keys for Mac (it just doesn't come with one) so you can use it before the OS starts up and connects to Bluetooth. I hope this helps.

Just another keyboard!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this keyboard for my 27" iMac and Ipad pro. I own a drone imaging company and l was looking for the keyboard that would make my editing, as well as multitasking easier. A keyboard that would allow me to switch between iMac and iPad, customize the keys to my needs. While it has the same key size and key travel as the original Apple keyboard that came with my iMac, I liked the idea of having number keys and few extra keys that iMac doesn't have. Unfortunately, the Logitech options software has an issue working on Catalina OS therefore one can't customize the keyboard's keys and whatever else. This issue is widely reported, which surprises me even more that isn't addressed by Logitech. Until Logitech fixes the issue, this is just another keyboard.

Not so wireless
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for a Mac Mini this past weekend. Works great, quiet, responsive, smooth typing. The reason for only 3 stars, is that when it's fully charged I disconnected the charging USB-C cable. I'm literally less than 36" away from the Mac, and it barely keeps a connection via Bluetooth longer than 15-20 seconds using the USB-A dongle. The Logi+, or whatever it's called, is about useless. Luckily, when you plug the charging cable back in(having it connected to the Mac) the keyboard works great.

Good, but prefer the magic keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to control multiple Macs. Terrible timing since Universal Control was released shortly after I set this up. Works well for intended use. Going back to using the Apple Magic Keyboard after using this did feel better though. Logitech’s product is well built, solid, and performs well, and with the price I paid (on sale) I have don’t regret it, but I do prefer the Apple keyboard feel.

Worked great at first
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We loved this keyboard! We use 3 screens for work and school and the interchangeable mode for the monitors is great but recently it stopped connecting and we haven’t been able to get it to switch monitors, for something as pricey as this we haven’t been able to get assistance or help getting this reset

Logitech keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did’t like the keyboard that came with my new IMAC (2020), so I bought this keyboard. It is heavy, but has the features I am accustomed to. (i.e. a numeric pad). It does NOT connect by Bluetooth so I have to to use a USB port. Everything else such as the printer, iPad and iPhone connect just fine. After doing some research, I think that Logitech has a program glitch which doesn’t allow to connect to the new versions of the IMAC (Catalina) BTW I bought the Logitech Keyboard model that is suppose to be able to switch from a IMAC to a Windows with the same keyboard and it did not connect by Bluetooth either.

Posted .Hello Craig! I'm sorry to hear you're running into Bluetooth connection issues. Make sure when connecting via Bluetooth you are: pressing the "1" button at the top of the keyboard with the computer icon next to it for 3 seconds. The light should flash and, on your Mac, you'll want to click on the Settings icon on the bottom bar - click on Bluetooth - then click on MX Keys. Once paired it should become a solid white light. Then, on the Windows computer, press and hold the "2" button until flashing. Then go to the Windows icon in the bottom left corner - Settings - Devices - Bluetooth - Add Bluetooth or other devices - click on MX Keys once it pops up. If you've already gone through these steps, I would recommend reaching out to our support team here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 as it sounds like the Bluetooth in the keyboard is defective. I hope this helps! - Maggie from Logitech

Good keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this keyboard along with the Master Mouse because I have 2 devices that I used together. The option to switch up to 3 devices works great. My problem is with Flow, but that has more to do with the mouse. I wish it wasn't as heavy and smaller. It also feels cheap.

Great keyboard for Macs

Hidden Potential?
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid keyboard however lost potential because of no manual anywhere to assist you in doing more. No customer service.

They Make The Same Product For All OS's
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MX Keys is a perfect keyboard. This review isn't about the actual amazing features and functions. My rating is because of my mass amount of confusion as to why this product costs as much as the version that works for all OS's (Mac, Windows, Linux, Android, etc.). I figured a Mac only product with the "Flow File Transfer Technology" would be worth less given the now limited capability of this feature. I really only bought it cause that grey is AWESOME!

Battery is it's Achilles heal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery life is less than desirable. For me I got 12 days with backlight until it needs to recharge. No battery indicator unless it's at 20%, constant charging.... doesn't that defeat the purpose of a wireless device? On a Mac this is not a great replacement to the stock keyboard which has months long battery.

Nice keyboard

Almost perfect but yet so far from it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate the keyboard layout. f1 should be above the 1 not the 2. Also I wish it was ergonomic. My hands hurt after typing on this for a week. I want this keyboard with the backlit keys, charge via usb c and connect via Bluetooth except in a different layout. I picked up the ergonomic keyboard, but it doesn’t have a backlight and it requires batteries that have to be replaced.

Lost key
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this keyboard in Aug 2021 and it has been great so far. Stay charged pretty long and no issues. But the letter H just fell off (it's Jan 2022). I keep this on my desk and never moved it so it isn't as though anything happened to it. I'll reach out to Logitech but feels like a big pain.

Function doesn’t follow form
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a touch typist, this keyboard leaves something to be desired. Sub-par tactile feedback, with short stroke keys. It looks great, and feels great. However, as its primary function is for typing, it could be much better. Returned this and went with a mechanical keyboard.

Decent quality, could be better.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent hardware quality, a little bit of flex (the frame appears to be plastic.) I have some squeaking sometimes when I press the shift/caps lock keys.
