This keyboard is almost 6 months that I having use less than the other but you know what? Keys are getting stick but really the other keyboard it was awesome but this one have this big issue that at the beginning thought it was just dirt on the keyboard but nothing. Worse keyboard ever. Why!!!!! I changed my MX Keys for this with S why!!!!

Broken after 8 months

Today, I noticed that 2 keys were loose and when I tipped over the keyboard, the X and Comma key fell off. Short battery life. Not good for Mac.

It's not good. Only a year old and the battery life is already depleted. Only lasts a couple days on a full charge. It's not good with a Mac. I bought it because I have both Mac and Windows computers and it has the 3 different connections you can quickly choose from just like the Logitech Mouse that I own. Big mistake. This keyboard is not good with a Mac. Takes a lot time to connect to the Mac when first starting up and even when you put it in Mac mode the key commands don't match up. There is no delete button for the Mac to delete files when in Mac layout mode? This is bad. I do not recommend it. Now I have to see if the warranty covers the bad battery. Waste of money and time.

Difficult to read white keys in some lighting

Years ago I had an IBM keyboard with white keys and black letters, and I loved it. Thus, I was delighted to find this keyboard. It turns out there is very little contrast between the white background and the lettering on the keys, and I can't read them! I wish I'd purchased the keyboard with black keys. I thought I had a month to return this, but the window passed after two weeks. Now I am stuck with a keyboard I cannot read.

Goodbye shortcuts

There is no way to take a screen shot in Windows. The lack of the Windows button reduces the shortcuts for other things, as well. I wish I noticed this before putchasing.

MX Keys S is a piece of garbage

Biggest regret is not getting it returned before the return period expired. Frequently randomly disconnects (found MANY people have this issue after I started searching about it). Can't use it to write documents. Will randomly miss entire words. Can't use it to play games. Hold down a button to move and you can see exactly when it disconnects. Can't use it to log into websites. Randomly leaves characters out of your username or password. It's a shame that the vast improvements in quality between the ergo trackball and the MX ergo trackball don't mean anything when it comes to this keyboard. Don't know why they didn't keep using the reliable unifying receiver with this keyboard. I suspect the bolt receiver is probably the source of it's uselessness. Along with requiring another usb port instead of pairing to the same receiver with my other logitech devices. I recently pulled it out to give it a second chance. Made sure it had latest firmware. Tried a factory reset. And the same issues persisting led me to posting a review, which I almost never do, to try to warn others.

Backlight needs help

However it is lacking a lot in overall functionality. I purchased this keyboard because of the backlight option. It does not have an "always on" setting. The keyboard is supposed to turn on and illuminate the keys when it detects your hand in close proximity. It did, for about a week then it stopped. No settings available to adjust in the options+ software. A little google search and it sounds like it is a common problem. Nice ideas for the features, however they dont work.

Slow, unresponsive - returning
