The best productive mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was using MX Master 2s for the past 2 years. This mouse maintains the ergonomic shape with few improvements. The vertical scroll wheel is smoother and feels nice to use. The horizontal scroll wheel is lot more comfortable than the MX Master 2S. If you have smaller hand then try it in the store before buying it.

Very Good MX Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good mouse to use. It's just a little too big. But nonetheless it's comfortable for the hand and I like the scroll wheel. Scroll wheel is nice. Low ratchet and smooth scrolling. It works great with the MX keyboard.

This Mouse is a Master
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have greatly enjoyed using this fabulous mouse for several weeks in connection with its companion keyboard, MX Keys. Connectivity is solid. You can either mate this device with your computer using the Logitech Unifying Receiver dongle (supplied) or, if your computer has Bluetooth connectivity, you can use Bluetooth instead. I did not need the dongle as Bluetooth was completely satisfactory. I had it paired with my computer in minutes. The MX Master 3 is simply beautiful on my desktop next to the MX Keys. The mouse has a vertical scroll wheel with a button to control whether the scrolling is smooth or with indentions. There is also a horizontal scroll wheel which I often used often with a customized zoom in and out function in Microsoft Word. There are also two additional customizable buttons beneath the horizontal scroll wheel. The feel of the mouse in my average-sized hand was perfect, and the scrolling function is smooth and flawless. There is a button to allow indentions for the vertical scroll if you want that. The keys and mouse are beautiful together in appearance and they have a great working symbiosis. A plethora of customizations, both general and specific to commonly used office software is offered with the Logitech Options software. Functions on the mouse and keyboard can be changed, customized and re-arranged using the software. The possibilities are not infinite, but they would far exceed your patience and the scope of this review. The mouse is charged via supplied USB cable (USB-C to USB-A). The keyboard lasted about 3 weeks: the MX Master 3 is still going strong with no recharge. While charging a green LED flashes. When it turns solid green, the device is fully charged. The LED changes to red when the battery is low. This is the finest mouse I have ever had the pleasure of using. Highly recommended.

The Best Mouse I've Ever Used
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me just say that this mouse is awesome! I've owned it for a little over a year now, and I only need one hand to count how many times I've had to charge it during that time; seriously the battery is that good. I will say that my first week or so, I wasn't a fan of the shape...it made my hand cramp up. I even thought about returning it, but I decided to keep trying it out since so many people rave about the MX series. I'm glad I did, now it just feels super comfortable to use, I've gotten used to it. The scroll wheels both feel top notch and I've programmed the side buttons to my liking so everything is very intuitive. Also, I just recently got a second PC so I've been using the different profile settings a lot more. It allows me to switch from that PC to my laptop seamlessly, and it's been very convenient. That's without mentioning logitech flow, which can be a little hit or miss from my limited experience, but it's still nice to have. All-in-all, this is was one of the best purchases I made in 2020. The MX Master 3 allows me to be more productive, and just generally makes my life easier even when doing light tasks. Definitely gets a recommendation from me.

How do you describe the greatest advance in mice?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where do I even begin? I've owned the MX Master and then the MX Master 2, and now the MX Master 3. Each update has been significant. MX Master 3 is in fact ground breaking. The ergonomic shame is, as it always has been, subjective, however unless you've got Andre The Giant hands, it'll feel significantly better. The side thumb wheel is finally an up/down wheel, rather than a front/back wheel which to me was a flaw in previous iterations. The cramped forward/backward buttons are replaced with easy to use forward/backward buttons. The two most significant improvements are (1) the scroll wheel, which now uses magnets to give you the subtle/silent yet tactile "click" as you roll it, UNLESS you flick it, that's when the magnets park and you can scroll from Row 1 to Row 1,048,576 (ok might take a few flicks since the metal scroll wheel will eventually lose inertia...point being when you flick, the "clicks" go away. For those of us who work in Excel or even long bash or powershell scripts, this is a HUGE improvement. (2) USB-C port for charging, and yes you can use the mouse while it charges. There are more improvements to be aware of, out of scope for a BestBuy review. I will go on record in saying this is a ground breaking design...even if the $99 price is a bit rediculous, but after getting past the sticker shock, its become essential.

Great Mouse - Worth the $ - Wrist-Saver!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never thought I'd spend this kind of money on a mouse. After spending a large chunk of time behind the screen (as we all have been lately), I have began to wonder, "What was I waiting for?" This mouse offers great comfort in the palm and wrist. I have very average sized hands. The main wheel offers two different ways to scroll; with a click of the small button at the top of the wheel, you can choose between either a controlled, click-feel, or a unabashed, literal free-wheeling scroll. I choose to use either option for different situations. I am an educator and sometimes I am scanning long texts (free-wheelin'), or other times scrolling a couple lines at a time as I grade and give feedback (controlled nuance). I find that I really like to ability to switch between them depending on the project I am working on. The rest of the options you can gain from the Logitech downloads were pretty extensive. I don't use those options much (yet), but will update if I do end up using them. The other useful options with this mouse are the thumb button that allows you to pull up all your windows for easier desktop navigation. The only two downsides I find is that the right click button is a little overly sensitive, and the really detailed app from Logitech. I generally have a light touch, and even while rest my hand, I sometimes trigger the right click with very little pressure. The app is really deep in that you can program the mouse (both wheels and most buttons) to do different things for most of your popular apps used today. I use a lot of the Office Suite, so the pre-sets were already mostly to my liking. I did click around a bit, and felt slightly out of my pay-grade for a moment or two (a few days). Not a huge problem on either account, and I got use to both issues over time. Definitely not something to reduce a star as it was mostly just a new set up and system, and truly the more important issue, I've not had the ability to edit the function of my mouse in the past - so this is mostly all new to me! You may find it to be really simple and intuitive. For the most part it was for me, too. Overall, this mouse is excellent and I recommend it to anyone whole is looking to increase your hand and wrist comfort while working long hours behind the screen - but keep in mind, you must be willing to give up a few dollars for this top end product.

The perfect non-gaming mouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a well established mouse from an established brand. Obviously the best part is the heavy scroll wheel, which is literally powered by magic (or magnetism, not sure.) I'm going to list some pros and cons now. Pros: - Solid build -Excellent click switches that are very tactile -Convenient buttons and functions -Horizontal scroll wheel -Very nice shape -Very smooth connectivity changes -Battery does last a very long time. I still haven't had to charge mine. Cons: -Gesture button is kind of difficult to use. -I wish the scroll wheel was angled so my thumb actually lines up with it when scrolling -the horizontal scroll wheel isn't recognized correctly by most programs and custom actions don't always work -Laser instead of optical The pros far outweigh the cons for me, and I will use this for games. The most you could say that's actually "wrong" with it, is some of the bells and whistles for gaming, but it's not even for that crowd. It's really just the best all around mouse because it's so comfortable to use and has Bluetooth. The few changes I would make are really just nitpicks, and I'm pretty confident that no other competitor really has a serious response to this product. $100 is pretty steep, but this one should last you a minimum of 5 years which breaks down to $20 a year. That's really not bad for all the comforts it affords. If you're on the fence because you're considering one of the "gaming" mice, just know that the only reason to consider one of those in the first place is some specific feature like a full numberpad on the side for MOBAs, or weights for shooters. This was versatile enough for me because I could just map the gesture function to basic keys and have 4 extra functions from one mouse button anyway. As for office users, there's really no other choice. Just go and add it to your cart and be done with it.

Best Mouse in the Market
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think it's safe to say that Logitech has the market when it comes to keyboards/mice. This MX Master 3 mouse is the best mouse I have ever owned. Yes, it's pricey but "you get what you pay for." The mouse is a little on the heavy side which I actually like and I have big hands so the mice are usually too small for me to use but not this one. It's still small but considering what's out there, it's the best. The scroll wheel is pretty fun to use. You can scroll through thousand lines of a spreadsheet in a second and it's got a horizontal thumb wheel which comes in real handy when you're creating or completing an excel spreadsheet. You no longer have to go to the bottom and click the horizontal scroll bar. The mouse can be paired to 3 device at one time and it comes with a Unifying Dongle and Bluetooth. I WFH w/ one of the largest Homeowner's/Auto Insurance company's and I switch from my work computer to my personal computer and I can use the same mouse. With a push of a button I can switch to my personal computer. It fits nicely in your hands and allows you to accurately select anything with precision accuracy. The left and right buttons are very responsive and there's so many customizable features and buttons. It even has multi-gestures capability which is nice although I don't use it often. I haven't decided whether or not I will bring this mouse with me when we go back to the office bc I don't want to have to carry it with my everyday but it is so expensive to loose or for someone to take off my desk and there's no cameras in our call center style building. Since it has BT capabilities anyone could steal it off my desk and pair it to their laptop or any device w/ Bluetooth. I can bring the mouse with me every day and take it home every day but that's just a hassle. I might just want to continue to use my small mouse that came with the Logitech 270 keyboard combo. If I do that then I will be wasting $100 bc I won't be using it much. I'll have to decide but I think I'll bring it with me.

Versatile Work Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My job required me to be more versatile from home, and my old M325c had seen better days. So I did some reading up on different mice and settled on the MX Master 3. It's a good build, sturdy casing, and very easy to install. Plug & play friendly and holds an excellent charge - a couple of weeks before it needed a full charge. I also like the easy-to-use software to assign custom functions and the available preset profiles for software - Office and Adobe apps. I love that I can sync this up by Bluetooth to 3 devices and then switch between them with ease. The feel - the scroll wheel just glides through webpages, spreadsheets, and timelines. The real fun is the thumbwheel, which is equal in use. I no longer have to pull the parallel scroll on wide documents. If I have to leave a negative, it takes a few days to get used to the size. Eventually, your hand will settle Into the rest. Finding a use for every button and gesture has bettered my workflow. I can hardly call it a negative; I went from cradling a tiny mouse to my hand just resting on thrown. My wife began ”borrowing” my MXM3 for work so much that I had to buy a second. I came from using a laser mouse with one scroll to a mouse that became my leatherman of desktop tools. It was worth the purchase.

Good Mouse Great Scroll for Large Docs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse. Have used the last model (2S I believe) for years. Pros: Great "long free wheeling" scroll wheel. Good feel in hand. Good battery life. Cons: There is a ridge above left side function buttons, just below the horizontal scroll wheel. This prevents easy access to this wheel. There is a tiny button which gives acess to task manager etc just below your left thumb. This is so small it is absolutely useless. Expensive.... The scroll wheel would be great for users with large spreadsheets etc. It is a little too sensitive however for smaller docs that I use in software development.

Best mouse I’ve ever used.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortable - size, materials, thumb rest. Easily switch between 3 devices. The scroll wheel is so cool. Blow through hundreds of lines of text in a blink. Ridiculously long battery life. They say it’s not a gaming mouse but I’m a controller player so I don’t care. Expensive, but there’s a reason.

The BEST mouse EVER!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ergonomically & Functionality the best ever! My wife has carpal tunnel and this is the best she has ever had. Well worth the $99. I originally bought the black one for her video editing, and she liked it so much she wanted one for her regular job so I got her the gray one. She loves the scroll wheel on the side as well as the cool fast scroll feature on the top scroll wheel. She also likes the extra 2 buttons that she can set to perform custom commands. Forget that it is more expensive than most others...there are good reasons for this. Once you try, you will never go back to another. You can get gaming mice with more extra buttons to control other functions, but this is the best one for work productivity, comfoert & video editing.

Great Mouse!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice mouse and very comfortable! The shape makes your hand mold to it. The scroll wheel makes it easy to get through a pdf or very long page, and choosing between the free floating wheel to tactile is a very nice touch. The hidden button on the thumb rest is very convenient, and customize it to make it easier to do tasks. Very long battery life, I've only charged it once and it's going strong. USB-C charging makes it really fast to charge too.

You never knew you needed a $100 mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's a reason this the mouse on every single minimal desk setup video on Youtube and why videos talking about this mouse have hundreds of thousands of views- it's fantastic. I lost this mouse once and it was so good that I bought a second one. Sure, you can spend less and get a mouse that gets the job done. I've owned many mice- from $10 to $100. And while the $25 mouse will get the job done for most people, if you have the cash to spare, you should get this one. Here's why. 1. Reliability. I've never had a problem with this mouse. Ever. I can't say the same for anything else. 2. Tracking. No skips. 3. Comfort. This is almost as good as an ergonomic mouse but much easier to use. 4. Buttons. So many. And all programmable with Logitech Options. I have them customized to various programs like macros in Word and Excel as well as commands in Audacity and shortcuts in Chrome. 5. The scroll wheel. Oh boy, it's incredible. When it comes to mice, you can go for less. And in fact, for most people, I wouldn't suggest a $100 mouse. If all you do is a little bit of surfing the web, your trackpad or cheap mouse will do the trick. I used to travel with a $20 mouse and that was all I needed. But now that I'm at home and I need to get more stuff done, you cannot beat the versatility and reliability of this mouse. Don't look at price- look at value. And there just aren't that many competitors that can deliver this much value.

My Favorite Mouse - Worth Every Penny
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech MX Master series has been my go-to mouse since they first started making them. The first one I had lasted years and years till it finally needed to be replaced, which was about 5 months ago. The MX Master 3 is of the same quality. For me, this is my go-to mouse because it fits my hand perfectly, has a great scroll wheel with clutch, and simply glides as I use it. I never have an issue with it and it feel like an extension of my hand. I use it all the time for work and for gaming. I'm not a hard core gamer, but I do play games on a regular basis and it has been great for me for gaming. The scroll wheel is great because you can scroll line by line or hit the button and scroll an entire Internet page or large spreadsheet in no time at all. This mouse is worth every penny. If you're thinking it's too expensive, consider it is a mouse that you will have for many years, works flawlessly without issue, and it is so reliable, it is one less thing you have to worry about. Battery life is insane. I use my mouse on average about 15 hours a day and I only need to charge it once every 45 days or so For work or play, I highly recommend this mouse.

Comfortable with precision and speed.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this mouse when I learned that I had to work from home. Absolutely the best mouse I've ever used. I am a CAD Drafter and spend 8+ hours a day with a mouse in my hand. This mouse is very comfortable to use for extended periods of time, due to the nice hand position and great ergo feel. The click of the buttons feel great with the right amount of pressure, but the highlight to me is the scroll wheel. This scroll wheel has a feel like no other, much like a high quality roller bearing with enough weight to it that when you flick it it soars when you want to get somewhere light speed fast, yet precision enough that when you roll it slowly, it goes line by line. You have to experience it to believe it. Everything about this mouse feels like quality and the performance is amazing. I never thought too much about a mouse but this is an absolute dream to use. I'm so glad I spent the money to get this. Best mouse I've ever had in my hand.

Best mouse I’ve ever used
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never thought something a simple as a mouse was important, but after awhile you start to develop pains around the wrist, forearm, and hand with no ergonomics to support the shape of your hand using one for hours. This mouse is top of the line. It has a grippy/rubbery type of texture for your palm. Has a little thumb rest. The clicks are tactile. The scroll wheel is something I’ve never felt before and you can choose to have a standard click scroll or a buttery smooth scrolling experience with their built in magnetic scrolling mechanics. It’s weighted as well so you could view long paged documents or sites with ease. Even with the Logi Options App you could customize your mouse to function however you want, it’s crazy.

Almost Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably the best and certainly most expensive mouse I've ever owned. Purchased with the Logitech MX Keys keyboard for the switching ability. Zero issues with the mouse, easy to setup, and very comfortable. The scroll wheel is fantastic. Pairs perfectly with the Logitech MX Keys or the Logitech Craft keyboards. The only thing I have not found a solution to is automating switching of the mouse itself. I have no use for Logitech flow software, but I am still looking for a way for the mouse to follow the keyboard when it switches. I can easier switch between my desktop, homelab server and my work laptop with the keyboard, but I have to lift the mouse to switch it. I believe with Logitech flow, the keyboard can follow the mouse, but when you have a restricted work laptop you can't exactly install whatever you want. Otherwise solid build and still worth the price.

Excellent in Just About Every Way
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Highly, highly recommend this mouse. I've used each MX Master Mouse from Logitech since the original #1 and they truly have improved with each iteration. The feel of this MX 3 is that much better. The scroll wheel is a definite improvement IMO over the 2s. The only sort of improvement I'd like to see (and this could be a Mac OS issue not a Logitech issue) is on Windows 10 I have the same mouse for my Gaming/Productivity PC and in the Logitech software it has an option for "Switching Applications" that you can map to a button on the mouse but that's missing on the Mac version. I'd like to see that option come to this mouse on Mac OS. All in all though, I give it a 5/5. It's the best mouse on our planet right now IMO on either Windows 10 or Mac OS.
