Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with the keyboard's quality, ease of use, and the inclusion of convenient features like volume control. Many appreciate the price point and the simple, effective design, although some wish for RGB lighting and a wrist rest. Positive feedback frequently highlights the software's customizability and the responsiveness of the keys. However, the lack of RGB lighting options was a common point of criticism.

Exactly what I was looking for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched mechanical keyboards for probably 6 months before deciding to purchase this keyboard. My main purpose in purchasing a mechanical keyboard was to get one I could use for gaming, but also use at work without drawing too much undue attention. For me, the pros of this keyboard are the following: - Keys are responsive enough for gaming, but the Cherry Red switches aren't so loud that I disrupt my coworkers - Keys are back-lit, but the light is clear and not other gaudy colors that would be inappropriate for work (even though the rainbow colors are super cool when gaming) - Keyboard looks pretty generic overall. You probably wouldn't think the keyboard looked strange at all in an office setting unless you were familiar with the big Logitech gaming logo on the top corner. - Gaming mode button is easy to use and convenient - Music controls are nice - The volume control wheel is especially nice - Price point is good - Durability/quality of this keyboard far outperforms any other non-mechanical keyboard I have ever purchased I can't really think of any cons whatsoever. This keyboard is literally exactly what I wanted. I do plan to purchase another Logitech mechanical gaming keyboard at some point that is a bit more flashy, but when I do, I will leave that one at home for gaming and this one at work instead of hauling this one between both places.

Excellent Mechanical Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard works really well and I like the feel of it as well. It can be a little noisy but that can be fixed with some noise dampeners. I have only had the product for about a month so I cannot provide any long term impressions but I think it is a good entry point for mechanical keyboards if you are able to snag it on sale.

Good, inexpensive, but must configure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the keyboard I love the price (especislly with a good Best Buy sale) My only gripe is that you must install Logitech software or it will not default to a simple backlight, but a wave of brightness across the keys. While this looks cool in a showroom, it forfeits the functionality of the backlight for style. In the end I’m still glad I bought the keyboard, but until you login you get the default wave of lights reminding me of the one gripe. Simply changing the default to solid bright background even if software wasn’t installed would move this to a 5 star product in my book.

Excellent Mechanical Keyboard,Economical Price!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never owned a mechanical keyboard solely because of price. So expensive. This one is under 80 dollars!!These are Cherry Mx Red switches which take time to get use to as they are EXTREMELY sensitive.Super bright back lighting though only white in color(who cares).Slim chassis (I can't stand palm rests) volume wheel that I loved about my last Logitech, cheap price.I recommend this to anyone.I am not a gamer whatsoever but do type a lot.

Great keyboard if on sale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that this keyboard has cherry mx keys. Very smooth and easy to type with. The media controls are nice I really like the scrolling volume control. The lack of RGB lighting control kinda stinks but if you can get this for $75 it's worth the price. Anything more feels a bit much considering you can get a similar Razer chroma keyboard for $99. If lack of color scheme isn't an issue this is a great buy.

Good for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice keyboard for the price. Not cheap, but mechanical keyboards can be expensive. The Cherry Red MX Switches are very responsive pretty quiet unless you bottom out. I like the media and volume controls, come in handy when listening to music. I like the different keyboard lighting profiles when using the Logitech software, also very helpful. I recommend.

illuminated keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted a keyboard that illuminated because I work late at night and didn't want to disturb wife with light on. Works well, has 3 different illumination modes. Only thing that I do not care for is that when the illumination is one, it's light is a wave machine. Lights starts on left side then rolls to right. Wish it had a solid lighting position. Other than that, price was nice.

Excellent Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really nice mechanical keyboard. Especially for the price range of under $100. Keys are responsive, and fast. Not as clicky as MX Blue switches, but not mushy at all. I didn’t need to have RGB lighting, so the white is fine

Highly overlooked mechanical keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is no shortage of "gaming" branded mechanical keyboards, but I think the G610 is highly overlooked. It uses cherry red switches which are a dream for gaming (and still very nice for general use, as well). I had a set of blues before this and there is a noticeable difference in the experience. It doesn't have some of the "premium" gaming features, which is usually just more light colors. I got this for $60 which is a steal. This is regularly $80-90.

Decent mechanical keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price(purchased on sale) you get a decent keyboard. One thing though the "Cherry" refers the type of mechanism not the backlight color which is white. I read it quick and was under the assumption that it would be red. Noobish on my part but could be misleading to others as well

First Mechanical Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's my first mechanical keyboard. It works well and was at a good price. Haven't had any complaints and the key layout is comfortable with me. A plus was that it has default lighting effects while it was on.

Excellent Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Logitech Proteus Core Gaming Mouse (now called the G502 Proteus Spectrum) for a few years now and I've always loved Logitech's gaming mice. Their track record on Mechanical keyboards has been hit and miss. Some of their previous Orion keyboards have had odd design decisions like concave keys. Also, in a works where Cherry is the ubiquitous choice for a quality microswitch that comes in a variety of flavors, the Logitech exclusive "romer" switches were an odd marketing move. I was considering the Corsair K90 RGB or the K70 but this keyboard was on sale for $59 so I took a chance on Logitech and I am very happy. ALL of my previous worries about Logitech Keyboards have been reversed. The Keyboard has a VERY hefty feel to it. The USB cable is braided and very thick. The lighting effects can be adjusted using the Logitech Gaming software ( I like that there is one piece of software for both the keyboard and mouse). I have played several games and tyed a bunch with it and it feels fantastic though will take a little getting used to since the Logitech K330 Keyboard I am migrating from has a much shorter travel distance on the keys so I will spend a few weeks with more typos than before. Typing feels very fast on this keyboard. It's hard to explain but its almost like on my old keyboard the additional force required to press each key down slowed me down and after typing for a long time, my fingers would get fatigued. Not so fatigued that they hurt or anything like that, but now that it takes almost no force to type, when i go back to the old keyboard it's Night and Day. Great Keyboard, Highly recommended, especially if you can get it under $99 Pros- Plain Black minimalist design (more of a personal preference of mine than a pro for everyone) Very hefty feel, thick rubber feet so the keyboard doesn't budge 2 levels of height adjustment Logitech Gaming Software is intuitive, Macros are awesome Volume adjustment wheel is huge, easy to find without having to take eyes off monitor Cons- No RGB-Doesn't seem like a huge deal but if you game a lot, its nice to load the profile for a game and have certain keys be lit up so you know where all your options are Thoughts- Would be nice if the USB cable were longer for cleaner cable run options for folks with large desks
