Portable
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the Logitech Bluetooth mouse I got for my iPad. It's compact, has a great look, and works like a dream—extremely precise and consistently trouble-free. Trust me, it's excellent and definitely deserves a shoutout. However, I deducted a star because I wish it were rechargeable instead of battery-operated.

A Mouse Made Specifically For iPad?!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can check out the video review here: (https://youtu.be/w3qoBNIqGrw) PACKAGING/PAIRING: A lot of times you can tell the quality of a product by its packaging. Which sounds superficial and ridiculous but if you have ever opened an expensive product before, you will know that there is something special about it. This product feels top tier. Its packaging is small and compact and there is no wasted space. The mouse is covered in a nice plastic case to prevent damage. Once inside you will find a pull tab to allow the battery to make a connection. The mouse is already turned to the on position and will immediately go into pairing mode. Then you just go to Bluetooth devices on your iPad and hit connect and you are up and running. The box also comes with safety information and a simple and to the point instructions manual for pairing and replacing the battery. I would rate the overall experience a 10/10. As a bonus, you can simply put the mouse back into the original packaging for travel purposes to keep the mouse extra protected if needed or just inside the plastic case. AESTHETICS/BUILD QUALITY: The top of the mouse is held on by three light magnets. They are strong enough to keep the top on and not allow the battery to come out. But weak enough that you can easily remove it to change the battery. Underneath the top plate you can see the battery, scroll wheel, and switches for the left and right click. The scroll wheel takes a mild to moderate amount of pressure to scroll with. The center mouse button takes mild amount of pressure to depress. Overall, the scroll wheel is one of the better ones I have tried. The overall scrolling is solid but a bit inconsistent at times. Meaning it is jumpy and not as smooth as you are used to on a PC. This does not interfere with usage in any way. This experience is a lot more fluid with a trackpad. But with that said the pointer precision you get with a mouse is better than you do with a trackpad. So, they equal each other out depending on your preference. The left and right click require a mild to moderate amount of pressure to click and are very quiet where people around you will likely not even hear them. They feel wonderful. If you have ever used Logitech mice in the past, they have a very nice click presence and it continues on with this product. Almost as good as their gaming mice. On the bottom of the mouse you have two mouse feet, an on/off button, a pairing button, a blue LED, and the sensor. The on/off button is fairly good. I have seen better with their other mice. It is relatively easy to turn on/off but requires a bit of pressure or the use of a nail. The pairing button is a bit recessed but also relatively easy to press. Right above it is the LED indicator which will not be covered up with your thumb. Which is a nice attention to detail that a lot of products get wrong. When using the on/off and pairing button it is difficult to not press the left and right mouse button in the process. In regard to the mouse feet. They are terrible whether used on a hard surface or a cloth mouse mat. If you move the mouse a moderate amount it makes a lot of noise and is very scratchy to the feel. For most, this will never be a problem since their pointer speed will likely be fast which limits the overall movement of the mouse which resolves this issue. I complain about this because it is loud enough that if you were in a quiet environment and had low mouse sensitivity it could distract those around you. Battery life is also ridiculous. I think they say 18 months. Obviously, I cannot test this as this product just came out. But based on their other wireless gaming mice I have used Logitech is usually excellent in the battery category. The overall mouse feels incredibly solid. Without any creaking or weak points that I could notice. The very top shell of the mouse could break if it were to pop off and bend. But the likelihood of that happening is slim. It is also very small and portable which is perfect. You can easily slip it into a bag or your pocket and be on your way. USAGE: Pointer precision is good. It was able to track on a variety of surfaces without any problems. It is super beneficial when trying to do productive work such as me typing up this review. As I can edit far more easily with a mouse than I can with my finger by clicking between words/letters, highlighting text, and using copy and paste. You add a keyboard and you have a pseudo laptop on your hands. Which for me took my iPad from being a consumption device to a productivity device that I could use in school or at work. But it is not all rainbows. As I have noticed that not everything that I click on will actually work and sometimes I have to use my finger instead as it won’t register the key press. But this is few and far between. Some apps also work better than others. I believe this is due to lack of support for certain apps. Which should improve in time. The gestures for the mouse are simple to learn but feel foreign. To bring up the app bar you scroll down to the bottom of the screen, then scroll further to go home. If you want to check your notification you will go up to the top left and click the time/date. Or just scroll straight up. Last, if you want to check your quick settings you go to the top right and click the Wi-Fi/battery indicator and it comes up. Otherwise you have to use normal touch gestures to navigate. Using a trackpad is better. As it is integrated more with touch and you have more gestures to navigate making it feel more like a laptop instead of a tablet. SETTINGS YOU CAN CHANGE: In the Settings you can control the following: Tracking speed, natural scrolling, mouse (left or right click depending on your dominant mouse hand), contrast, automatically hide pointer, color of the pointer, pointer size, pointer animations (I found the pointer to be more accurate with this setting OFF), and scrolling speed among a few others. CONCLUSION: Overall, I think this is an excellent addition to the iPad if you do any type of productive work on it. Such as typing up documents or creating anything that requires pointer precision. If all you use your iPad for is a consumption device, then I’m not sure how much benefit you would gain from this. But for the price I think it is completely worth it. As the build construction is solid and the mouse buttons feel great to use. It will be hard to find something better in the same price bracket. iPadOS still has a way to go before it fully feels like a Laptop. But this is an excellent step in the right direction.

Good device that needs iOS support to be great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like Logitech products in general. Nice designs, good quality, and highly functional. The pebble checks those two of those three boxes, but through no fault of it's own only gets a small check in functionality. It's small enough to conveniently toss in your pocket or bag and even fits in some tablet carrying cases. It feels nice in your hand and the scroll wheel and buttons have nice feedback. It also tracks nicely on just about any surface. A very important feature because you probably don't use your tablet in conventional settings. It was super easy to set-up via Bluetooth on my iPAD Pro. So what's not so great on functionality? For me, it's the iOS (and apps) that really isn't ready for conventional mouse use. I'm not afraid to experiment with clicking, double clicking, dragging, etc. Some times it was a real asset, and other times I just decided to use finger gestures- particularly in drawing apps. Still, I'd recommend the Pebble i345 because it's useful and will only become more so in future iOS and app updates I'm sure.

I LOVE this mouse for my iPad Pro
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just picked up this Logitech Pebble i345 and I LOVE IT! With my Logitech keyboard I now have a really nice, compact and portable device I can use to author content. Establishing the Bluetooth connection was a breeze. The mouse was available as soon as I pulled the battery tab and then it was just a matter of going into Bluetooth settings to connect. The mouse is compact and has a really sleek design, It works on lots of surfaces including the table cloth on my dining room table where I am authoring this review. Useful, well designed, easy to pair. A great combination.

Great Campanion for My iPad Pro
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very skeptical about this mouse because I figured that the next great mouse for iPad would come from Apple like an iMouse. However , I have been so pleasantly surprised with the pebble. There is a little lag at times which keeps me from giving this 5 stars. For the most part the mouse reacts well and makes the iPad a productivity tool. I use the pebble for everything and it is awesome with The Microsoft apps. It’s also super portable making the iPad my new everyday carry. Battery life is not an issue as it should be a months before I need to replace it. I recommend this product.

Good mouse, but expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried several mouses (mice?) with my iPad without much luck. Some didn’t pair (needed a code but didn’t have one). Some paired but wouldn’t scroll. Found this one and it works as promised. Portable but not tiny. Sleek feel. Easy pair. Easy battery compartment access (magnetic door). But it’s expensive. Put it this way. I’d have awarded 5/5 if it was $10 less (I paid $29.99). But like your Apple device... you pay a premium and it just works.

Nice mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good, compact Bluetooth mouse. Works with my PC laptop even though it’s advertised for being for an iPad. The shape isn’t really the best for the hand but it has an advantage in being more portable than most mice.
