Best keyboard case for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this keyboard for the following reasons. Pros: 1) total protection for my iPad Pro’s edges 2) backlit keys with adjustable light 3) holds a charge for nearly 3 months 4) sturdy 5) works like a corded keyboard. Cons: It is a bit heavy, however I will take that for the protection it gives. I’ve bought 4 other similar bluetooth keyboards from a big online retailer because I was looking to save money. However, I returned every single one because none of them had all of the features of this Logitech product. I’ve had 3 of these bluetooth keyboards. The case for my iPad Pro 11” never had issues with keys popping off. After 3 years the rubber on the left and right sides of the case started to separate. It does not decrease the protection for the iPad. However, the cases for my iPad Pro 12.9” has had issues with 3 keys popping off. That is my 1 complaint. I’ve had my latest case for 4 weeks, and the “keyboard” key popped off. I would have returned it, but I missed the return window by 2 weeks. Even though 2 of these cases have had keys to come off, I still like this case.

Heavyweight champion
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here is my opinion compared to the Apple smart folio keyboard case: 1. This is a bulky case. It’s a lot thicker than the Apple keyboard but there is a reason. You can see comparison in the attached pictures. It does provide protection around the edges against drops unlike the Apple keyboard. It also has it’s own battery so they had to store it somewhere while the Apple keyboard doesn’t. 2. It’s heavy. I weighed it at 1lb and 9.2oz vs the Apple keyboard which is 14.6oz (without the iPad and Apple Pencil). This is a big difference. 3. The keyboard buttons never touch the iPad screen when you close the case due to the corner protection I mentioned. The Apple keyboard does and I can press the keys by pressing on the case against the iPad screen. Not sure how bad is this and if the plastic keys can scratch the screen. If I end up keeping the Apple keyboard then I might want to consider a screen protector. 4. The keyboard feeling is way better than the Apple keyboard and not as noisy. It’s also spaced better and less chances of making a mistake typing. In conclusion, if you write a lot of emails or do typing for work/business then you’ll be annoyed quickly with the apple keyboard. Logic is much better in this area but you have to charge it separately (not very often). You have to also look passed the bulkiness and heavy weight. If you care about a thin portfolio look and need a light weight option to Cary around then Apple keyboard is your choice. I Cary an Apple MacBook and some tools in my backpack and don’t appreciate the extra 1+lb. It’s a touch choice. I bought both and still deciding which one to return. I took one star because of the weight. Otherwise, it’s a solid product.

Reliability expected from Logitech delivers.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Fantastic keyboard, great key travel, love the multiple “modes”(read, type, draw), great overall device protection. Cons: Adds quite a bit of weight, keyboard backlight wigs out/flickers once in a while, lack of viewing angles while typing. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this case. It’s a tad heavy, but that doesn’t bother me personally. Only real downside for me is there are only two viewing angles while typing. Most situations this isn’t a problem but if I want to sit up straight and my iPad is on a low surface it’s hard to see the screen.

Impressive/Tough/HEAVY!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this Logitech - Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case for Apple® iPad® Pro 12.9" (3rd and 4th Gen) and I have the 3rd Generation. Right out of the box I was impressed. I had purchased the Apple designed case when I purchased the iPad at BestBuy, and have been using it exclusively. I received this in the mail and placed my iPad in it. It fits like a glove. Very easy to attach and remove from the device. All the buttons are covered & very well protected. They are still easy to access and use, with a little getting used to. To adjust the volume you have to put forth a little more effort to achieve the desired setting. But to me, that was not a problem. The layout around the camera is well designed and in no way interferes with the camera being used. In the pictures that I attached you can see that the iPad is very well protected and Logitech did an awesome job in that regard. To me, it offers way more protection that the Apple designed case. Another thing I like about the Logitech is it has the instant on. Once you open the case and place the keyboard in the “slot” it immediately recognizes and the keyboard lights up. I love this feature as well. To me, the keys are better laid out that the Apple case, and it allows me to type faster. As far as battery life, I have used it for about 5/6 hours a day at work (I’m a Pastor) and it is still going strong. The one difference between the Logitech and the Apple, that I like the Apple case better is the flap on the back to get the iPad in a more upright position doesn’t hold very well, while the Apple case does. I have a hard time getting this case to stay in that position while its on my lap. Another feature I like better on this case is the Apple Pencil protection. With the Apple case its not very well protected. And I had actually stopped using the Apple Pencil, as far as attaching it to the iPad and leaving it, due to the fact I kept misplacing it, and with the cost of it, the Apple could have done a better job with a simple flap like this case has. The closure flap on this case holds not only the case closed, it keeps the Apple Pencil very well secured, as you can see by the attached picture. I now leave the Apple Pencil attached to my iPad with no fear of losing it. Overall, this is a well designed, laid out case. My only complaint is the weight. With the Apple case I barely knew I had it in my hand, not with this case. IT IS HEAVY! But, the trade off for the protection that it offers are worth the added weight.

Heavy duty... And convenient!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, this is a heavy case! My kitchen scale shows 715g (25.22oz), iPad Pro (12.9" Gen 4) is just 636g (22.43oz), so the case is heavier than iPad Pro itself! Combined together case and iPad weigh more than 2020 Mac Book Air! This is a great case to get if you need a really heavy duty protection for your iPad, apple pencil can be stored within the case flap as well. Removing iPad from the case takes a little bit of time as it's not held by the magnets, but by a rubberized edge of the case. Keyboard has it's own battery, it's backlit and connects to iPad over bluetooth (so in theory you don't have to put iPad in the case for keyboard to work). Would I recommend getting this case? If you want a very good protection (back and front) for your iPad and don't mind it to be a little heavy - definitely yes! If you do a lot off typing/taking notes on your iPad - sure! Keyboard is backlit and very nicely made. If you would like to be able to remove iPad from the keyboard case quickly - no, don't get this case - iPad is not magnetically attached, it takes some time to remove it. Do you even need a keyboard for an iPad? This totally depends on what you are doing. It's super nice to have a real keyboard for text editing, notes taking or using your iPad as a terminal to connect to a Unix server over SSH. Software keyboard is not taking precious screen space. Own battery could be a positive and a negative at the same time.. It's definitely a positive thing if you want to maximize your iPad battery life - keyboard backlight won't be sucking energy from the iPad itself. However - it's another battery you need to remember to keep charged (even though Logitech promises 3 months battery life). This case does NOT take advantage of iPad accessory port so you can't use a single USB-C to charge both - keyboard and iPad. I would definitely rate this case 5 star if it will use iPad accessory connection for USB-C pass thru.

Great keyboard case!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TLDR - Great protective keyboard case with some weight. Pros: - the keyboard has dedicated media/function keys (where as another more name brand product that cost way more does not) - keys have good and consistent travel, making it a very comfortable experience to type on regularly (have not miss any keypresses yet) - keyboard is backlit (there are two levels of brightness and both levels are sufficient for low lit environments) - keyboard has USB-C port for charging (charges quite quick and has yet to die on me (been using for more than 2 weeks now) - case covers the corners quite well which gives me peace of mind if i ever accidentally drop my iPad - case is thick, provides extra protection (though some may see this as a con, i don’t mind having my ipad better protected) - case is easy to put on and take off - apple pencil can charge and stay on in tandem with the case Cons - the weight of the case is almost the same as my iPad (though i don’t mind this, i had to put this as a con because it takes away from it’s portability) - the case basically doubles the thickness of the iPad (very noticeable especially when holding) - only one position for the iPad when docked to type Overall, the pros outweigh the cons for me and i absolutely recommend the case. If you need a protective keyboard case, this one definitely nails the requirement, though you will have to give up some portability due to it’s weight and thickness.

Great Case!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech has a great product here. The case does a fantastic job at protecting the iPad. The keys are a pleasure to type on. Not mushy at all. The specialized function keys are a bonus over the Apple keyboard as well. The keyboard folds under the screen in 2 ways, depending on your preference, when you want to use just the screen. The battery lasts a LONG time. I go months without having to charge these. I've not recharged it yet since the first charge after buying it. It weighs more than an Apple keyboard, but you get so many benefits over the Apple, it's worth it. Especially given how much less this costs.

Excellent for field workers
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: The 3 positions are so ergonomic for the busy person: - Laptop position - Reading / Tablet position - Sketching / Drawing position - I am a healthcare worker and am on my feet all day; and I take my iPad Pro 12.9” with me everywhere using it to type patient charting; read emails, pdf docs and; write and sign off on pdf documents all day. The Apple Pencil holder is also a bonus knowing that my 150+ dollar pencil will never fall out. - The iPad (and Apple Pencil) have supreme protection all around - Keyboard charge lasts for months. -Keyboard is backlit. Cons: - The case doubles the weight of the iPad easily; but the iPad definitely feels secure all around. - There is no mouse / track pad. - The iPad is difficult to remove from the case.

Great keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and me really like it, compare to the Apple Magic Keyboard it was nice but there was several things I didn’t like one it was the price way to high but what do you spect coming from Apple prices. Two you really couldn’t do much movement like yea you could up it up and move it to recline but that is it you can’t push all the way to the back to have as iPad and it is really heavy. Now this one is really light not heavy easy to use you can put it at any angle you want. Oh one more thing is the keyboard this one has more extra buttons then the Magic Keyboard this one actually has a volume buttons and play back and pause and keyboard brightness the other one didn’t have none of these yes the other has a mouse but it would had been nice that it had also extra functions too for that price.

Great keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard exceeded my expectations and turned my iPad Pro 12.9” into a laptop. The added weight or bulk doesn’t bother me at all and it feels sturdy when in use or stored away. The keys are well built with a nice real keyboard feel. I did a typing test and was able to still be around 70 wpm which shows there’s a quick response and no lag. Connecting it to my iPad was quick & easy. It’ll connect each time without a problem and it’s ready within a second. I’ve used it everyday for two weeks and it’s super comfortable.

Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard case has everything except a track pad. The keyboard is excellent with the back lit and shortcut keys. The case offers necessary protection which the apple cases lack. The only cons are the overall weight and I wish it used the smart connect (although the Bluetooth feature works well). It would have also been nice if the case offered some additional positions for drawing on the iPad. Still, this is the best keyboard case option for the 2020 IPad by far.

Best I’ve found
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great case for the iPad Pro 12.9 inch. It has iOS shortcuts on the top row to reduce how much you have to touch the screen and a backlight under the keys. The keyboard is far superior than anything apple offers. The key travel is very good, feels incredible to type on. That may not seem important but if you plan to type continuously and often, it is. It is a little heavy as other reviewers have mentioned, i don’t mind this but some people may. I bought two of these at different times in the year. On my first purchase the keyboard backlight was starting to flicker. Other reviewers have mentioned this as well. It might not happen to everyone but it’s worth mentioning. This is a very good buy and is beats spending $350 for apple’s offering. Pick it up, you won’t be disappointed

Good buy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this and the apple Smart Keyboard. I decided to buy this because it’s less porous and easier to wipe down with alcohol when I bring it home after I use it at my workplace. The apple Smart Keyboard was starting to act a little funny because I kept wiping it down (my own fault). I ended up really liking this product. It has the actual “typing” feeling. There’s a strap that holds the Apple Pencil in place (even though it’s magnetically attached to the iPad, it knocks off really easy if I’m carrying it weird...which I normally am because I’m always rushing somewhere). The only downside is that it’s a little heavier, has to be connected by Bluetooth, and has to be charged once in a while. But it’s a really good buy for the price.

Best overall iPad Pro case
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this case. The protection is great, the keyboard is good for typing and the magnetic closure is nice. The only negative is the weight of it. It is a little heavy, but will give the needed protection for my iPad Pro and the keyboard will be used regularly.

My first iPad Keyboard Case is a Win-Win!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this keyboard case for my iPad Pro 12.9 because I've started selling on eBay and listing my items are faster and easier on the iPad. Setting up bluetooth was a little tricky, but I read one of the previous reviews and one of the reviewers gave a good tip and it worked! Things I like about it.... the magnetic snap is very strong. I like that. Backlit keyboard is nice. It has a flap for my pencil. They keyboard keys are very nice to type on and feels much like a regular keyboard. Protects my iPad while closed. The only con for me is that it is heavy but I know that it is well made and sturdy. So, I'm good with that! Very satisfied overall.

Functional Keyboard for IPad Pro
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Logitech keyboard for my iPad Pro and overall is a great experience. I initially planned to buy the Magic keyboard from Apple but stumbled across this at Best Buy first so I decided to give this a try. To be my very first keyboard I truly found it very functional and very protective. Overall I recommend this purchase for the best protective keyboard, but I did go ahead and buy the magic keyboard and plan to return the Logitech since I don’t need two of these. But yes I recommend. For me personally it is a bit bulky and my typing is much more natural and comfortable on the magic keyboard. Good Luck! Wish the best!

Best iPad pro case out there.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best iPad case I've seen so far. Much better than the Magic keyboard which we had to return twice because the pointer wouldn't work right. Better means better price (less than half of the magic keyboard) and stronger protection for my iPad pro with covered corners and cool design. It even has a little chamber for my apple pen:) The only downside is the weight - a little heavier but totally worth it.

It's a pretty good substitute
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard is backlit, and it responds well with the tablet. I haven't had it very long, so I can't solidly say how well it holds up, but for now it's good. The downside is it's a smidgen hefty. It felt heavier than the tablet itself, but nothing too crazy. It seems durable, but I'm not going to risk dropping it anyway.
