While this is more on Best Buy’s end, the folio is quite heavy. Also if you’re used to a laptop and plan to convert, I’d suggest getting the one with the trackpad

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy employee said this Logitech Slim Pro Keyboard Folio for Apple iPad Pro 12.9" (3rd & 4th Gen) would work with my 5th gen iPad Pro which it did until a few months ago when a key fell off of the keyboard - Logitech said even though it was still within the warranty period, it would not replace it because I was using it on the wrong device. 1. Don't rely on the BB employee guidance, 2. Be aware a key may fall off within the year even though you may treat your product with the best of care.

Keyboard doesn’t work

The keyboard worked for about a week and stopped. At first I thought it needed to be charged but charging it didn’t work, I still have to type on the iPad screen. At a point I had to call my daughter whom I bought one for, she is in another state, and she told me straight, “mom, that thing does not work”. Please don’t buy.

Posted .Hi Faith, Very sorry to hear about your problems with the Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case. It sounds like you're having connection issues with the keyboard and your iPad. There can be several reasons that have caused this. First, make sure your iPad is using the latest iOS update. Try moving away from other wireless or Bluetooth sources---you could be experiencing interference. Make sure when you turn your keyboard on, that it is in Type Mode (If your keyboard has less than 20% battery life left, the status indicator light will be red---connect your Slim Folio Pro to a power source. If none of this helps, thankfully the Slim Folio Pro comes with a 1-uear limited hardware warranty. Awful

I thought it was supposed to be that way but looking at pictures it’s not. I also received no paperwork for the keyboard and I ordered a new one not used or open box! I can’t believe I can’t get geek squad to help me and I paid for them as well!

Logitech “Keys to Go” is a nice keyboard option, which is currently available on BestBuy.com. I have attached a link to “Keys to Go” below if you would like to see this option. Please feel welcome to visit the Logitech support website for product support and if you would like further assistance with finding an option that is a fit for your iPad. The model number, which begins with the letter “A” and is followed by 4 digits is the best way to determine which model of iPad you have.

Posted .Hi Cassandra, sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with your Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case for Apple. We are always looking for ways to improve our products, so we appreciate your review. Please see these quick tips for troubleshooting: Make sure the iPad is connected and fully seated in the case and if the keyboard has an On/Off switch, turn it on. If no LEDs appear or if the LED is red, you’ll need to charge your keyboard.
On your iPad, make sure Bluetooth® is on.
Select Settings > Bluetooth > On. Then, select “iPad” from the Devices menu.
Press the Bluetooth® connect button on the keyboard for two seconds until the status light blinks. The keyboard is discoverable.
In the iPad Bluetooth® menu, select your discoverable keyboard to connect.
If your iPad requests a PIN, enter it using the keyboard (not on the iPad), then press ENTER on the keyboard.
SmartConnector
Make sure the SmartConnector on the iPad and top of the keyboard is clean and free of debris.
Verify that the iPad is in the case properly to allow the SmartConnector to align with the connector on the keyboard.
Place the iPad to allow the SmartConnector to attach (there is a small magnet that will keep it in place).
If the issue persists, perform a soft reset of your iPad. To perform a soft reset, press and hold the power button and the home button until the iPad restarts and the Apple logo appears. After rebooting, confirm that your keyboard is connected to the iPad and then test it.
Make sure your iPad is up to date with the newest iOS:
Plug your iPad into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
Tap Settings > General > Software Update.
Tap Download and then Install and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once the updates are installed, the iPad will restart. Confirm that your keyboard is successfully connected and then test it. I hope this information assists you Cassandra.
