Stream On
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After receiving the Logitech StreamCam Plus and going over the features and seeing the brilliant design and build I knew the StreamCam Plus was built for the Serious Streamer. When you open the box the first impression is quality, that comes with USB-C 3.1 cable along with monitor mount and tripod. Mounting hardware works exceptionally well, tripod and mounting brackets are well thought out and sturdy. Impressed. HD 1080P video sans 4K support is a slight let down for the price, however the main audience is streamers so this can be overlooked. The big pro is 60 fps recording, smooth video without stuttering. The AI-driven facial tracking, smart autofocus, and exposure works very well and ensures that you always look your best. Full HD Vertical video support is way cool, simply turn the camera for enhanced viewing on smartphones. The built-in microphone sounds good, but it picks up undesirable sounds. Using our Blue Yeti microphone when streaming works amazingly well with the StreamCam Plus. Good Stuff: - Picture quality - 1080p/60fps = videos that pop - Ease of use - Lowlight performance - Sharpness with abundance of detail - Facial tracking - Designed for the Media Creators o Video Conferencing o Live Stream Gaming o Video Chatting Bottomline, the Logitech StreamCam Plus is an amazing camera for streaming with advanced improvements over the previous generation.

Great image quality, wish it had more features.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Picture quality is fantastic. It's a dang good camera. 1080p@60fps qualifies as high-end right now. - the mount has a solid feel, with rubber ends, so it stays pretty well-attached to the top of my monitor (unlike some cheaper logitech cameras) - doesn't require fancy drivers. Basically plug-n-play with usb-c cable. cons: - it's a little bigger than I expected. Kind of looks silly. - for a little more money, I could have gotten a logitech 4k@90fps, with a privacy flap, smaller (less of an eyesore), and with noise-cancelling dual mics. I would have been happier with that one, even for the additional cost. - No privacy flap - mic quality isn't great; my onboard laptop mic does better - my package came with a small tripod, but it's kind of cheap and isn't very sturdy - the cable kind of sticks out the back in a way that looks ridiculous

Quality Versatile Product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really enjoying this new StreamCam Plus by Logitech. I've been using it in multiple applications to test its versatility. The main use is for streaming through Twitch since I enjoy gaming filtering/overlay through Streamlabs OBS. The 1080P along with the 60 FPS creates seamless video production for both gaming and business use. Doing videos for work projects has become much easier as well and also has a pretty decent mic pickup. I still use the Blue Yetti Mic for really finetuning the audio though, but not bad for an all in one stand-alone. It comes with a small tripod as well as mounts that you can set on any TV or monitor that you might own. I would definitely recommend this product if shopping for a new Stream Cam!

Great for Videoconferencing and Online Education
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this webcam for my home office. It is fantastic from an image quality perspective and exactly what I needed. My camera quality on Zoom and Microsoft Teams is better than my peers and allows for online lecturing to be seamless. Using both modes (portrait and landscape) doesn't interface well with the above-mentioned software but using it in landscape mode is most desirable. I do not use the onboard microphone as it was not clearly picking up my voice and had poor sound quality.

Good visual quality with so so audio
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great video quality but just ok sound. I used this for a few zoom interviews and the picture quality is amazing. However the sound/microphone is not so great. I had an interviewer say he couldn't hear me properly

It's a good webcam
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this webcam. The microphone sounds a little tinny like most generic webcams. The app for the webcam is what really makes it shine. You can control a lot through the app and makes it incredibly easy when recording training videos or prerecording meeting videos. The clarity of the video in low light is mediocre at best, but with decent lighting, the video quality greatly improves.

Great budget camera for pro recording
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an instant upgrade to any integrated camera system. The camera works great and through the Logitech software, there are options for color adjustment, screen flip, zoom, exposure, and record speed. Easily a great option at a great price. I have a MacBook and always have problems with the software after each OS upgrade. The included stand and clip are extremely useful and surprisingly sufficient with pretty much any mobile or desktop setup. If you’re streaming with a more pro setup, a tripod is defiantly necessary, along with a pretty large lamp. The microphone is decent, but I would use something better for any type of professional recording.

Great webcam for online training and video
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent, small, USB webcam! It can be mounted vertically or horizontally and has excellent resolution. The camera has auto-focusing, face-tracking, and auto-exposure. It has a built-in stereo microphone that is good for recording video, but must be disabled for video-conferences when using a speakerphone or when using a headset to avoid double-miking, echo, and/or feedback. You can only select one microphone in most video-conference applications. I use it for video-conferences and teaching online workshops and it is perfect for these applications.

Great camera, terrible microphone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera does a terrific job, but the built in microphone is terrible and you'll need to buy an add-on.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great webcam to up your streaming game. My only real complaint is the microphone could be better. I had the c720 before and felt the audio quality was better.

No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Logitech
Posted .Hello customer, I apologize for the inconvenience of the microphone on your StreamCam Plus not working when you bought it. To make sure it is in fact the microphone on the StreamCam and not some setting, I would recommend trying to set your computers default microphone to the StreamCam. It could be that the computer is simply not detecting the microphone, and therefor isn't using it when prompted.

Really oddly branded. Decent camera.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a Logitech C920 with this camera. I only mention this because it may be a pretty common case where you bought a C920 (or C922) as a webcam to stream with because it's pretty cheap and maybe now you're looking to upgrade. This camera costs almost 3 times as much as the C920 so it must be so much better, right?! Let's start with the positives. The picture quality of the camera is pretty nice. It should be for the price. I would never recommend using auto focus and auto white balance on the C920 but the StreamCam handles is incredibly well. Depending on your lighting, I found it very hard to really over expose my face with the StreamCam. You can use the Logitech Capture software to adjust details if you feel like you want to enhance your picture or tweak some values. I found the default setup to be pretty OK. I may tweak it a little here and there if I adjust some lighting conditions but the auto white balance improvement is really immense here. The ability to be able to capture 1080p at 60fps is also great if you're streaming at 60fps. I mentioned the Logitech Capture software. This software may be useful to you. You can use the Logitech Capture as a device as well so whatever picture the software gets will output to your streaming software like OBS. You can use it to add chroma key or simple overlays. I'd rather just use the Logitech Capture software to adjust settings and then keep using the actual device in OBS, though. One thing that either the camera is doing itself or the Logitech Capture software is doing in the background is the StreamCam actually saves settings between reboots! The C920 was notorious for resetting settings after your rebooted your computer and this feature alone almost makes it worth the steep price to me. Do I think the picture quality is worth triple the price? I'm torn. To me, I feel like it is. I've been streaming for a while and the only place to go from here would be a full, mirror-less DLSR camera which would cost me so much more. This was a good enough upgrade to my C920 for me with the picture improvements and not having to worry about verifying my settings every time I go live. I would have liked to see a larger field of view for this price but it's not the end of the world. If you're looking for a larger field of view, this isn't the camera for you. If you want a pretty good camera that will hopefully last you until you're ready to upgrade to the big time cameras AND you just have extra budget to blow, then I'd say go for it. But if you're just getting started and need something cheap that will look good enough, the C920 is still your best bet. My biggest real issue with this camera is the branding. It feels like a cash grab without any real research going into it. To me, it feels like Logitech knows absolutely nothing about streaming or they're focusing on streaming that can't really take advantage of this webcam anyways. To me, Logitech sees that streaming is becoming a more popular thing and that people are using their webcams for it so they just slapped the StreamCam title on it to try and sell it as a premium. I think this camera would be a must buy closer to the $100 price point, but it feels like Logitech jacked up the price to try and sell it to streamers as "THE" camera to use for streaming. The issue is, nothing about the camera is something a streamer wants or needs. Literally nothing aside from the image it creates is usable by a streamer. Some of the big features that this camera talks about are completely useless to streamers. Let's go over these real quick. 1. You can turn the camera sideways. The docking clip they have allow you to use the camera in landscape and portrait orientation. This isn't something I've ever seen in any streaming setup. The only thing I can think of for this is maybe mobile streaming setups... but you can't really do those with a webcam so it baffles me. A lot of their marketing material has a girl painting her face with the camera in portrait mode. It's great if you're going to film a short Instagram or Tik Tok video to post later, but that's not really called "streaming" anymore. 2. Image stabalization. Why? I don't understand this at all. The camera comes with two mounting options. It has the standard monitor mount that just hangs on the top of your monitor (a very stationary object) or a small tripod you can also mount the camera one.. Tripods are also very well known for being stationary. Not once have I EVER thought "Huh... Sure wish my webcam had some image stabalization. That would surely make my stream a lot better today." It's just another out of touch feature that probably could have been ditched to bring the price point down to something a little more reasonable. 3. Dual microphones with some noise cancelization. Face, meet palm. You know who uses the microphone in their webcam for streaming? No one. Exactly zero people. If you're thinking about buying this camera because of the microphone, please just buy a C920 and then get yourself a decent microphone for that extra $100. The single time I think someone might use a microphone built in their webcam is when grandma is using it to Skype their grandkids. Webcams should no longer contain microphones and any camera that states that it's made for "streamers" should be ditching the microphone to try and lower the price of the object because NO ONE is going to use it. I guess my final conclusion is that I was really excited to see a product that was being marketed towards streamers but I was immediately disappointed when I figured out that Logitech doesn't know what streamers are or do. So should you buy one? I'd say if you have a little bit of extra money burning a whole in your pocket and want a slight upgrade in picture quality on your stream, yes. Go for it. I think this camera is overpriced but without a lot of options filling in the $75-$150 range for webcams, this might be your best bet until you can afford a "real" camera. I wish Logitech would have talked to actual streamers and would have left out a lot of the useless features to make this a more affordable option. If it was closer to the $100 price range, I'd tell everyone to buy it as their first camera. As it is now, it's only an expensive camera you should buy if you really want to spend some extra money right now.

great webcam
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera so far is the best I have used. I can move around and it does not lag. I will mention first a few things I am not a fan of or would like to have seen. First the cord. its a ok length, however I would have liked to see it just a bit longer. It goes from back of my pc straight up and onto my monitor and just has a tad bit of slack. so a bit longer would have been nice, and especially if you want to place the webcam someplace else. I don't mind it being a usb c type either, however I feel they should have included an adaptor to use with a normal usb. not everyone has a usb c yet. both of my computers only have 1 slot for a usb c. I have a regular usb extender cable and cant use with this without an adaptor. the software, its not to bad. but one issue I had, I have an older webcam (Logitech C615) and the software would not pick it up. My OBS would, well at first it would pick up the first camera I picked. I had to plug one camera on front usb ports. sometimes your ports even within a computer act like a hub. anyways, I got both to show up on obs and was able to check both out side by side. Wished the software from Logitech would have picked up the other webcam cause there was a lot of options. so sadly the software would not. The software is basic but gets the job done. I will explain some likes though on software as well later on. mic, the mic is ok on this webcam but not great and just about all of the headsets I have used sound better. I think this is mostly because the webcam is away. I noticed it was a bit better if I was right up on the webcam. It will get the job done if you don't have one. But I recommend getting one if you are going to stream. That is it that i can think of for now on what i would like to see better. now for the good. If you are a fan of usb-c then hey, it uses that. The webcam is 1920-1080 at 60 fps. Like i said at the start, when i move around it does not have that lag to it. my other camera is 1920-1080 but only 30 fps. so you can see and tell the difference between the 2. This one is a lot smoother. It also does look a lot nicer and clearer as well. I like how it looks myself. You can turn it sideways and it will give you that phone look. The stand that it is in, is easy to pull off so you can turn it. It comes with a tripod with the standard screw on it if you want to use that. It is a small tripod and legs extend out a little. So you can use your devices like another webcam you might have or camera with it. As well as use this webcam in your own tripod if you have. I have a taller tripod that I use to face camera towards hands or monitor. The software as I mentioned is ok. You can set it up some to do a few things though that you may like if you use. You can set it up so that the camera will follow your head around. The camera itself does not move so once you get to the edge of the camera it wont. you can easily select 2 displays with the software. Like one being the webcam, and the other your display. and then it lets you select different options. like either one taking up the whole screen, or lets say you are gaming, you can show the game as the whole screen and then your webcam within the screen like in the lower left corner. You then can change the size of your camera view as well as where you want to place it. you can also do both side by side. so you might be spectating and chatting, and maybe want your webcam on one side so its a bigger picture of you, and the game on the other side. I have not played with it enough to see if you can set up borders. I already have streamlabs for streaming thru that I have set up and all. The software does also have quick buttons like alt+6 or whatever to do different things like going between the different views. so if you want just your webcam to show, or just game, or game and webcam within game etc. Again, overall I am glad to have this camera. It is very smooth, looks great, easy to set up, and clear. Price is not to bad for what you get. Its better then a cheap webcam. If you dont have money for a high end camera but want something that will look like you have a good quality camera, then this is it. It still cost a little money, but it will look great.
